Well done Nige! AND the invisible co-coach PK.  :P
Interesting idea regarding this. In the case like what we have now, where Pk is not really fullfilling coaching duties during the BBL, and ftc is taking over from Koop, should any awards the teams get go to the stand-in coaches? Pk and Koop obviously aren't being fired (as they are away with notice or have an organised replacement) but the awards the team gets goes to the person/people that do the work?

Thoughts?

PB, what happens with Bancroft coming on as a concussion sub? Do I get his points for the catch should a need for an emergency arise?

In BBL fantasy last season, a sub fielder took a catch but was awarded 0 points and their price didn't change ie. didn't count as a game, but this year Bancroft has been awarded 12 points. Interesting.

We're using scores from the official BBL fantasy game, yeah? Basically if they count it there then it counts but if they don't then it doesn't IMO. Easy :)

My guess behind Bancrofts score counting is that he is actually part of the game. Obviously if he was only a sub fielder for Whiteman he wouldn't have been allowed to keep, but he was a full concussion substitute so he was allowed to bowl and keep.

Everybody likes a live ladder right?? ;D

Group A:
Calling a Possums WIN, which makes WA vs NSW the important game.
Assuming Pattinson gets ~30, then Ferguson, Wells and Tait will need to find about 220 points between them to get the % to flip in their favour. So basically, Gades bat first and Tait rips through the top order, Ferguson comes out and makes 50 with a SR bonus. Then Not Pattinson gets through the Hurricanes until Wells comes to the crease and scores a 50 as well. All the Possums want from this game is the Platypuses to get the W so that they get a 38 point HGA for next round.

Group B:
This is very tough to call because the Koalas are making the Devils earn the W. I think the Koalas will hang on and win, but the scores of Narine, Cooper and maybe Matt Short will be vital to whether the Devils can overtake into 2nd on %, despite losing! The way that can happen is through the Kangaroos falling to bits tonight. It says they have 5 to play but Sangakkara and Michael aren't expected to play, and if either do you'd think Short will drop out of the side. Bancrofts 12 will come on the field. At the other end ACT have two key players, both capable of putting on 60+ scores.

Say the games end like this: Koalas 320 vs Devils 250, Kangaroos 300 vs Cockatoos 400. The Kangaroos hang on with 108.83% to 107.03%. Narine will really need to go big for R.Griffen to see his team make the 4, Jay is looking like taking a 48 point head start into his semi final.

Only problem with your group A write up PB is that Shaun Tait isn't playing.

Did he not make the squad? :( I haven't looked at them so idk who is and isn't a chance of playing.

I guess that'll make it very difficult for NSW so I think we will have our 4 all but sorted in VIC, WA, ACT, NT. Which order though? :o

Q Koalas 267 vs T Devils 195 live scores. Narine gets a few wickets and your words will have to be eaten :o

And it'll make the loser of Kangaroos/Cockatoos miss the 4!!

PowerBug

Cockatoos 337, Kangaroos 420
Kangaroos have done it!! Only a Brad Hogg miracle can save ACT now.

Torpedo10

McDermott with the Wombats carry, unbelievable efforts so far.
