Now to the pointy end with Preliminary Finals.
Championship Trophy
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Bradford Badgers @ Todmorden Sports Centre
Neither team is effected by the carnage going on so should be a great match 1st v 3rd. Both teams have depth as well and the are firing at the moment. Hedgehogs have finished the season well and may be slight favourites.
Winchester Werewolves v Leeds Leeches @ The Rose Bowl
Werewolves have struggled since the injury to Captain Gary Ablett and falling to second on ladder, Will struggle further this week with possible suspension to Fyfe and maybe Cox rested. Leeches have been building nicely into finals and have no real injury concerns may surprise the Werewoves. Home ground advantage may be the Werewolves advantage here.
Plate Trophy
Birmingham Dragons v Blackpool Bunnies @ St Andrew's Stadium.
Liverpool Rams v Swansea Breakers @ Goodison Park
Lockout bounce of Port v Carlton game on Friday night.
Good luck to all involved in the Preliminary Finals.
Cox last home game this week he won`t be rested
Possible Dragons vs Rams showdown in the Plate final? :o
We're going to be without Boomer, Dunstan, Billings and Cloke for the rest of the year to add to our woes. :(

That's good seeing as we'll be without Ablett, Fyfe, Lynch and possibly Bartel.

um about 200 or should i say 400 lol
My apologies for the lateness guys but at the moment I am doing some Volunteer JP work every Monday covering a fellow JP who is having an operation so hence the delay.
Most will know the results anyway but to formalise :
Premiership Cup
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs 29.13.187 defeated Bradford Badgers 22.15.147
Winchester Werewolves 26.20.176 defeated Leeds Leeches 23.19.157
So Premiership Final will be between teams finishing 1st and 2nd on the ladder and going on the score should be a great final. No HGA or Bonus for Final
Badgers finish 4th and Leeches 3rd Well done to Leeches on achieving this position.
Plate Competition
Birmingham Dragons 30.12.192 defeated Blackpool Bunnies 25.11.161
Liverpool Rams 27.13.175 defeated Swansea Breakers 20.20.140
So next weeks final Dragons v Rams with no HGA or Bonus.
To answer KB's Query Dragons last 4 weeks scores.
Round 17 1679 Rockliff 143
!st Final 1865 Rockliff 217
Semi Final 1844 Rockliff 203
Preliminary Final 1918 Rockliff 214
So riding high on Rockliffs coat tails.
I'll take 4th place, but I'm not sure I didn't come third...
You only scored 147 whereas Leeches scored 157 so based on the criteria for finalisng top 8 during finals you finish 4th and Leeches 3rd. Criteria being scores for the 2 teams dictate the 2 positions.
thanks Ringo
