Bud has decided to give up the head coaching role of Nicaragua due to time constraints,we thank him for taking over the team at a time when we were trying to keep the comp alive and had trouble trying to find new coaches.

So we are taking applications for a new head coach for Nicaragua.
This season Nicaragua finished 2nd on the ladder but bowed out in the semi-finals to the eventual premiers Calgary.

Below is the current team list of the Nicaragua Survivors, If you are interested in becoming a coach, please give a short application about who you are, what your best XV for the team would be and why you feel you deserve the job. Voting will then be sent out to all current AXVIII coaches, and the new coach with the highest amount of votes we become the coach of the team.

We are currently in trade period, which has been temporarily suspended until this coaching role has been filled.

AVXIII Rules and FAQ's can be found here

Or you can drop a pm to myself or Atto if you would like to find our more information.
We encourage coaches that are not currently a head coach in any of the XV or AXVIII comps to apply as well as anyone else who maybe interested in taking over the team.

Applications will close midnight Wednesday 30th September to enable us to get the new coach in asap

kilbluff1985

Hello ladies and gentlemen
mt name is kilbluff1985 or my friends on here call me kb my not friends call me a douche either works
i would like to apply  to be Coach of Nicaragua Survivors
i am heavily involved with fantasy sports on FF have teams in BXV and AXVIII SC and an Assistant in WXV, AXV and EXV
i think the best XVIII would look like

Captain: Ward
Vice Captain: Swan
Deputy Vice Captain: Player name
Backs: Shaw, Birchall, Scott D. Thompson, Broadbent
Mids: Ward, A Swallow, NDS, Duncan, Hartlett, Picken
Ruck: RUC -  Will Minson
Forwards: Swan, Wingard, Dahlhaus, The Package
Utilities: Newnes, Hartlett, Howlett
Interchange: Walker DEF, McGlynn MID, Longer RUC, Taylor FWD
Emergencies: Jay Schulz (fwd), Fisher (def)

obviously a very strong team finishing second this year however some retirements really hurt it with James Kelly, Daniel Cross and Hamish McIntosh however i feel like with some smart trading we can be challengers once again we have some really highly sought after young forwards that could be traded for quality mids which will be my goal and get this team into a position to challenge for the Premiership once again
