So David Warner is the Vic Captain for Australian cricket now. In case that doesn't quite sink in, if Steve Smith ever gets injured and goes off the field, or alternatively misses a test match, David Warner will be the captain for Australia.

I do think David Warner has a very good cricket brain on field, and is a nutcase off field.

I'm not sure whether it's a good move though... isn't there anyone else with more experience that can take that role?

He was a nutcase on one occasion when he punched a cocky little prick in the face at a night out on the drink.

Besides there were no other options for the Vice Captain so he got it by default.

The only one they could have picked as the line up is no longer set.

Will Nevill keep his spot??
The bowlers will change as well

Not sure that I like it but there are no other options.

With Waner being out injured, we might just see Nathan Lyon as our vice skipper on the Bangladesh tour :D

I'd love to hear what BP think of that. it'd be mostly positive, surely :P

Probably something similar to what Jake Carlisle said about Essendon.

"The club team/nation is flowered" or something like that.  :P
