Please pledge funds to help fight cancer! Examples of ways you can help:
1.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug nails the top captain of the round.
2.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug's POD cracks the 120 mark.
3.   Pledge an amount (e.g. $5) for every time LaHug gets egg on his face and his number 1 scores under 100.
4.   Make a once off donation.

Did you know that this is the 9th year I've done this? I'll continue to help with a smile and free of charge but, if you want to thank me, please donate to my charity efforts! Each week I will tell you some statistics on a player's last 3 games, their last 3 against this week's opponent, and their last 3 at this ground. I will also do a quick overview on my thoughts and have a guess at their score for this week. From all this, I'll give you my top 5 captain choices for the week and a speicial POD choice.

The facts & thoughts:

Zach Merrett
Last 3: 114, 57, 102 (91 avg)
Last 3 against Adelaide: 23, 134, 101 (86 avg)
Last 3 at AO: 113, 134, 101 (116 avg)

Merrett has a good history against the Crows when fit and is pretty good in Adelaide too. Prediction - 115

Patrick Cripps
Last 3: 94, 67, 151 (104 avg)
Last 3 against Gold Coast: 163, 162, 95 (140 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 67, 151, 88 (102 avg)

Two big scores in Cripps's last two games against the Suns. Scheer will probably tag him but Laird still managed 30 touches with the Scheer tag last week so Cripps should be fine. Prediction - 135

Lachie Whitfield
Last 3: 117, 74, 120 (104 avg)
Last 3 against Collingwood: 122, 123, 97 (114 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 74, 190, 162 (142 avg)

Whitfield should have an even bigger midfield load with the GWS injuries this week. He scored well against the Pies in recent match ups. Prediction - 120

Brodie Grundy
Last 3: 129, 100, 112 (114 avg)
Last 3 against GWS: 111, 127, 111 (116 avg)
Last 3 at Showgrounds: 119, 54 (87 avg)

Grundy against Dawson Simpson is a fantastic match up and makes him an instead consideration. Prediction - 130

Lachie Neale
Last 3: 83, 134, 122 (113 avg)
Last 3 against North: 146, 62, 100 (103 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 122, 97, 119 (113 avg)

In Round 2 this year, Neale scored a big 146 against the Roos. Before last week's quieter game, Neale had returned back to form and I think he'll go big again this week. Prediction - 125

Dayne Zorko
Last 3: 102, 121, 143 (122 avg)
Last 3 against North: 71, 154, 128 (118 avg)
Last 3 at Gabba: 143, 80, 118 (114 avg)

Zorko usually likes playing North and I think he's every chance to be the highest scoring Lion this week. Either way, it should be good for both midfield stars. Prediction - 125

Patrick Dangerfield
Last 3: 123, 114, 92 (110 avg)
Last 3 against Hawthorn: 104, 126, 118 (116 avg)
Last 3 at MCG: 162, 38, 104 (101 avg)

Danger enjoys playing the Hawks and has some good form coming into this week's match. Prediction - 125

Max Gawn
Last 3: 105, 50, 129 (95 avg)
Last 3 against West Coast: 125, 78, 111 (105 avg)
Last 3 at Alice Springs: 74, 142, 32 (83 avg)

Max should be good against the Eagles, particularly with Nic Nat out injured. Bounced back from his injury last week and should be better this week for the extra week recovery. Prediction - 120

Jack Macrae
Last 3: 110, 106, 135 (117 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 132, 85, 96 (104 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 110, 106, 180 (132 avg)

Last time Macrae played the Saints, he scored a handy 132. His last couple of weeks have been a bit lower than we would have hoped but he should still be good. Prediction - 120

Josh Dunkley
Last 3: 189, 120, 121 (143 avg)
Last 3 against St Kilda: 127, 88, 50 (88 avg)
Last 3 at Docklands: 189, 120, 118 (142 avg)

Kudos to everyone who picked Dunkley last week. His form was good and I missed him as a good choice. This week, he plays the Saints, a team he scored 127 against last year (his second highest score for the year). Prediction - 130

LAHUG'S POD!

Jake Lloyd
Last 3: 117, 113, 48 (93 avg)
Last 3 against Fremantle: 163, 93, 77 (111 avg)
Last 3 at Perth: 115 (115 avg)

163 last time he played the Dockers, Lloyd always has the potential to go big. Why not this week to repeat last year? Potential - 163

The verdict:
1.   Brodie Grundy (130)
2.   Josh Dunkley (130)
3.   Patrick Dangerfield (125)
4.   Lachie Neale (125)
5.   Dayne Zorko (125)
