Same Pitto to Gawn have Rozee as well but might just park him on the bench he might come good later on , the other trade probably Davis to Petracca.

After ditching Fyfe last week I have 660k in the bank...hopefully that's enough for the following:

Pittonet > Gawn
Starcevich > Ridley

After double down last week, this week:
NicNat -> Gawn, Bewley -> Whitfield or
Bewley/King -> Whitfield/BSmith.
Not sure the best way to go. NicNat frustrating the life out of me.

Although Yeo is good value, another guy I'm looking at who has potential higher value is Luke Parker. Will be priced only 42k more than Yeo this coming week with a expected BE of 132. Excluding the outlier score where he got 45 two weeks ago (not sure what happened) he has averaged 119.6. With Kennedy and Heeney out injured he has more of an opportunity to do better (as seen on the weekend 141 sc). The best thing about him is that he is owned by less than 2% making him a huge pod.

Brander -> B Smith all but locked in

T Brown -> Defender under $490k
Looking at Crisp / Short / Houston or Hurn

Big decision this week will be whether I bring in Gawn or forego him for the season, at this stage Gawn is in, but I'm very much leaning towards a cheaper option like Goldy or ROB.

I was thinking something similar but Gawn is clearly the standout ruck plus he dosen't have a bye from what we have been told about the remaining rounds after next week.

It's killing me not having Gawn, but think I'll have to settle for Goldstein.. Need an extra trade to get Gawn, which will be handy to finish the team off, plus I'm not overly keen on this week's bubble boys..

Pittonet > Goldy

But also considering...

Team > Delete :'(

EDIT: Thinking Fyfe might need to take a hike, so considering flicking him to Oliver as well..

Can’t believe it but I’m considering doing:

Budarick-Petracca

Petracca has burnt me numerous times on end but after watching his game against the Hawks it’s clear he has stepped up this season.

Is he a trap though? Would hate to overlook Greenwood/Simpkin/Smith if Petracca goes downhill from here.

Looked good on the field but had to do a fair bit to get 63. Doesn’t look too fantasy friendly. Feel like he will be one of them first year small forwards who has a great debut but then stuck with 30s and 40s all year making no cash.

I'm not 100% convinced. Second year player's historically are a risk as well.

If he wasn't so cheap, I wouldn't be considering him over others, but feel like you are going to need to take the punt on some cut price players to complete your team this season.

Absolutely. I have NFI how I’m going to get Greenwood and Petracca into my forward line for my last 2 remaining prem spots.

This no Gawn situation is giving me a headache.  I can bring in ROB and Smith this week which would leave me with only 3 rookies left on field Serong, Williamson and Starc and the ability to be down to 2 rookies next week is very tempting.

The McKay twins could line-up on each other this week. One has 40 games under his belt, the other has a massive 5. I'm not sure he has good JS, as he's competing with Majak/Walker/Durdan for that spot and his new coach needs a win or three.

Most probably McInerney (if he doesnt play again) and Townsend to Whitfield & Smith, and keeping Rozee on the bench/loophole option.

Or can do Rozee/Townsend to Whifield & Greenwood/Petrecca

McKay also only had 5 possessions, 1 mark for the match (31 AF). Can't see him being a big possession winner and I think his SC score of 86 was an anomaly that won't be repeated :P

I think at his price he probably needs to go on a scoring run like Doedee has. Seems a big risk that his last game was an outlier and his average will be 60-70s, which will make him a future problem in your team.

I don't know much about him though to know whether he will continue the form of last game?

Currently Bewley/Taylor to Petracca/B. Smith which technically completes my forward line (Greenwood, Simpkin, DSmith, Martin) I have Simpkin in the mids Rankine F6 which is his for now.

Miss out on Simpson however and only have 12k in the bank.

Weak at M7/8 (Serong, T. Green, Mcinerney, Rivers, Budarick), worst case I move a FWD in and field M. King. This is why Budarick is handy.

starc to lloyd  pitt to Gawn,   would like to do greenwood or walters fwd but starc, rivers and noble in my backs leaves me facing potential donuts each week and stops me using hill/brander to bolster weakest line.   My fwd cover is crap as well,  sturt, brander, taylor and aarts.
Need to get Dusty back into Fwds but cannot do it.  Also not sure if simpkin will be playing this week as well.

Sitting here with egg on my face,  started brayshaw in fwds and english in ruck.   traded out both.   dumped viney a week too early and pitt a week too late.

Haven’t thought about that.
So what do we know?
4 teams have it R10
2 teams have it R11
Does it mean ESS and  Melbourne have had it already?

Anyway even factoring in the byes, I’d only have: Hurn, BWilliams (who hasn’t played yet anyway), Yeo, Sicily, Cripps and Docherty. I don’t have Titch, Fyfe, Walters, Pittonet etc.
so it’s probably not a big problem.

Can do Rozee to Smith and Taylor to Dusty worth the trades or not

Wouldn't be going anywhere near Dusty this year.

Extra trades has me looking at trading Simpkin out for Whitfield and TGreen for Petracca. Keeps Bewley/Taylor for another week to trickle in a few more dollars.

Had another rethink and now I’m looking at Starcevich and King out for Harris Andrews and Rampe. Means I get a couple of steady types who could be great PODs in for a couple of rookies who get off my field.

Was going Pitto to Gawn, but starting to think with extra trades maybe get English until the Bulldogs bye and then get in Gawn.
English will make some money in the short term and then hopefully Gawn has a bad game and his price drops.
Gawn playing in the wet this weekend by the looks of the forecast. Any chance his score might be affected because he does get a lot of marks around the ground?

I'm thinking i'll bank as may of those extra trades and follow the script. Mr.WW out for Gawn and King out for Bailey Smith whose probably the only Fwd i can grab this week. Take Gawns scores and run the risk on Bailey for the extra trade if needed. Gawn puts a dent in your war chest but 185's are hard to look past with 16 minute qtrs.

Have a couple of options I've been considering all including Pitto to Gawn.

1. Ceglar (if not named) to Sicily/Lloyd (371k/308k remaining)
2. Ceglar to Treloar/Parker/Greenwood (280k/310k remaining)
3. Taylor (If Ceglar is named) to Sicily/Lloyd (243k/180k remaining)

Team been very average this season, so hopefully these trades are the turning point.

You're crazy not getting rid of Ceglar right now imo, Taylor still has money to make whereas Ceglar is all but certain to lose 30k.

Trade Ceglar, or Pitto, or both? Both means no back up ruck, as was strategy from day dot. Have Gawn and Grundy.

Gawn has a very bad record against Brisbane. It's going to rain up there on Sunday. Is it worth waiting a week or two on Gawn?

Starcevich needs to go. Thinking sideways for Egg-Smith.

Which leaves me either:
- Macrae but mid has plenty of bench cover
- Bailey Smith in forwards which is pretty average at the moment

I wouldn't worry. Rain = more stoppages = more opportunities for points. Plus, he might have a bad record against Brisbane but the bloke who's fared well against him in the past has nothing left in the tank. I don't think he's going to get a 180, but you'd think a decent enough C score is on the cards.

True, but only one week back and the team has been winning :) Personally I thought he would have at least made the emergency list this week. I think he would be battling with Ainsworth for a regular gig

Yes,   Brander not making the list this week was it for me,  moved him on as well as mcinerney, brought in Daniel and Bailey Smith.   Paid off last night hope it pays off for the season.    Still have to watch Pittonet run around.    If he can get two 100 plus scores I can upgrade him to Gawn.

Did Tyler Brown to Bailey Smith last night. For second trade, tossing up between
1. Brander to sub 502k defender (Houston/Laird/Crisp?)
2. King to Sicily/Ridley

Really don't love the cheaper defender premo options, but also want to clear out another donut before byes (still also have Rivers, J.McInerney, Ben Davis)

Go Sicily. Similar price to Ridley and can go big. His BE is 28 and might not be this cheap again. Ridley BE is 103. If he has a quiet one you might be able to get him a little cheaper later on. The benefit with Ridley is that he doesn't have any byes, so you can't go wrong either way.

Yeh another throw of the dice.   Missed a few times on this flip of the coin decsions this year, tossed up viney and rowell,  kept rowell on the bench as he would not drop cash and viney starts scoring.  traded brayshaw from starting team would not mind having him now instead of d smith.

Farrrk I accidentally used my 2nd trade (first being for B Smith last night) and now I cannot undo it... literally thought you could still reverse trades for those that have yet to play.

It’s McCasey for L. Ryan which is pretty safe, so was probably going to go through with that regardless, but would have been nice to know with teams tonight to know Ryan is definitely playing...

Loyd and Sicily have the best sc ceilings. But Doedee has the best value. I'd make my decision on future byes and plans for how much money you want to save for next week.

Guys, i know this.. but what is your recommendation this year?
Loyd and Sicily have the best sc ceilings. But Doedee has the best value. I'd make my decision on future byes and plans for how much money you want to save for next week.

Cheers, I know it is very team dependant.  I am missing Neale, Pettraaca, Simpkin, Steele, Greenwood so value in def might be the go.

Yep, looking for value at the moment in Defence. I’m getting Doedee in

Brander to:
A - Sicliy
B - Lloyd
C - Houston
D - Doodee

Lloyd for consistency if you have the $$

Sicily for the rollercoaster

I am going to wait on Saturday results and final Sunday teams before making my final trade
either NN to Gawn or Starcevich to Doedee/Lloyd

This is what I am thinking. Not really considering Doedee though

To save a donut,  I might go King to Eggmolesse-Smith via Hill

I brought in Egg. Initially I was thinking Zorko and Rampe for Selwood and Pitto. Ended up going Treloar and Egg instead

And Rampe is on 69 at HT. Summing up my last couple weeks perfectly if Zorko also goes off

Ceglar out has made me change my thinking again...
Ceglar and King out
Petracca and Rampe in
This worked out okay for me. Lazy 280 points in the bank.

Good choices NZ well done.   Bit like my brander and mcinerncy to Baily Smith and Caleb Daniel.   unfortunately it meant keeping pitt for another week.    How is that song go.... "pleasure and pain"

afl site says he's a chance to play the saints and Longmire said he's tough as he kept playing with it, so who knows. Reckon I'll keep him. Trading Doedee who may only be out a week as well. Not the end of the world.

Yeah wow, was expecting an extended period out for Rampe. I’m holding onto Doedee I think.
