1st Elimination Final
Boston Terriers 18.11.119 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 17.13.115

(Real: 1779 vs 1727)

Trading Tom Hawkins.

Best
Boston: Howe, Hanley, Neale, Gray, Cotchin, Sheed
San Francisco: Swallow, Goddard, Miles, Papley, Pittard, Douglas
Finals Champion: Andrew Swallow and Jeremy Howe (tie - 131)

2nd Elimination Final
Houston Bombers 18.12.120 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 19.8.122

(Real: 1795 vs 1834)

Wow, a big upset as the travelling Cocks get over the line to knock out Houston, just about the competition's in-form outfit. The battle was really won in the midfield (rucks included), as Wisconsin had 5 tons while Houston had to ride Sloane's 36 and Captain Kreuzer's 74.

Best
Houston: Adams, Beams, Ziebell, Ellis, Rance, Howe, Hill
Wisconsin: Dunstan, Shuey, Duncan, Gawn, Duggan, Witherden, Billings, Macrae
Finals Champion: Taylor Adams (144)

Qualifying Final
Carolina Panthers 20.8.128 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.10.112

(Real: 1913 vs 1685

Big statement by the minor premiers, while the Ducks will be doing some soul-searching ahead of their semi-final next week. Dusty was at his best for Carolina, while he had a lot (9 total tons) of help with the whole side doing pretty well apart from a few 50s by star JPK, Patton, Henderson, and Kolodjashnij.

Best
Carolina: Martin, Menegola, Bontempelli, Casboult, Daniher, Shiel, McDonald, Kelly, Docherty
Anaheim: Smith, Lewis, Hurley, Dangerfield, Heppell, Fantasia
Finals Champion: Dustin Martin (142)

1st Elimination Final
Rio Grande Valley Rockets 3.6.24 lost to North Carolina Tar Heels 3.8.26

(Real: 239 vs 260)

Geez, an ugly match as the Tar Heels scrape home in Texas with an uninspiring performance as both teams struggled to get players on the park. Andy Otten as captain won the game for NCTH, while Ryan Clarke was BOG and the Finals Champion.

2nd Elimination Final
Stanford Cardinal 11.4.70 defeated Suffolk Terriers 10.3.63

(Real: 704 vs 628)

This match was a lot better, as both sides had near-full reserves sides and put up nice scores. Shane Biggs was the Finals Champion and BOG (the second match in a row with the BOG playing for the losing side), while Tom Stewart was the best Cardinal and every player put in a solid effort for the home side (low score of 59 from the 8 players).

Qualifying Final
Nevada Desert Coyotes 10.7.67 defeated Harlem Naggers 9.5.59

(Real: 666 vs 591)

Close but no cigar for the Naggers as the Coyotes continue their winning run. Andy McGrath scored a huge 138 (standard score of 46, add another 46 as captain, add another 46 as HGA) to lead his side home to a nice and satanic score of 666, while Jordan Murdoch was the Finals Champion (again in a losing side!) for the Naggers, who were let down by Ah Chee's 14 and Berry being managed.

Because I didn't dislike Dangerfield enough already... That dirty play has cost me a final :'(

Wow stoked to get the win considering who I had missing! Will need to be much much better next week of course.

Goldy should be back in, Pendles a slight slight chance. Pridda and Nroo should be good to go!
