As an overall - yes, this is not a talented draft but the early picks are still quality.  I expected the top 5 (talents) to be gone by pick #7.  So now it has some excitement.

a lot to give up for the best PG in the draft i think

So Philly gets Noel, a 2014 first rounder and drafted Jrue Holdiay's replacement, MCW, who's not owed $40 million.

They win, good move 76ers.

Jay Dallas traded that pick to Boston and Dallas have 2 2nd round picks because they have no cap room

so they need picks in the second round due to first round picks having guaranteed contracts in the salary cap

As soon as Bynum flopped they were in rebuild. They just lost their best asset and still have the dead weight in ET, Hawes, Kwame and co. Noel is coming off a knee with no offensive game, they drafted a PG who can't shoot as a replacement for a 23 year old All Star, and a pick which will likely be high end lottery next season and even if they do bust out is protected from 1-5. They were tanking next year for Wiggins, Jrue or no Jrue, this is a bad trade.

We traded 2 second rounders to move up 3 spots in the draft, resulting in getting Kelly Olynyk. We need a big man, he has glossy offensive stats.

Yes but Melo isn't good. No feel for the game.

I think kings won the draft, they got the best player at 7 thats pretty good.
Oladipo is better.

But he was never gonna get past the Magic.  McLemore was not supposed to make it past 4 or 5.

There was also a lot of talk of Kings working hard to move up the draft so we could get McLemore

Yep Kings got a steal, but how will Mclemore, Tyreke and DMC work? All the 3 want to be THE MAN...

McLemore is a pure shooter and doesnt require the ball in his hands.  The concern at the Kings is we now have 4 x SG's

Tyreke
McLemore
Jimmer
Thornton

and only 1 genuine PG in Isaiah Thomas

I think that is also Mclemore's weakness, he can't create his own shot like say McCollum?

Jimmer is on the trade table for a 2nd rounder apparently. Ainge should get him... Dem threes :D

That's why McLemore is a good fit at the Kings.  Tyreke and Isaiah love the ball in their hands so having someone who can get free to hit the long range shot is good for us.  Plus his height means he is not going to get found out on the defensive end.

agreed thats why i wanted him at the cavs. Irving loves the ball in his hands and if they got james he does too. Sometimes you just need that guy to kick it out to a shoot it.

I'm just not sure Kings need another shoot-first guard.

Which is why there has been a lot of talk about moving Jimmer or Tyreke on.  I think Jimmer or Thornton are the ones that need to be moved first (Jimmer 1st).

I thought I heard you were waving Fredette?

By the way, what the actual f*ck with that 76ers and Pelicans trade. Jrue is going to be a superstar. Pelicans are set up for years with Jrue, Gordon (heard about a potential trade to the Suns btw) and the brow all superstars. Plus i'd imagine they'll trade Vasquez who was killing it last year.

I hate Philly. Only reason I liked them was Jrue.

76ers won the draft and it isn't even close. Got Noel + Hornets 1st round pick next season for Jrue as well as drafting Michael Carter Williams.

Still terrible enough next season to have a real shot at Wiggins or Parker.

Losers are Cleveland; taking Bennett #1 is a terrible terrible terrible pick. Bennett too short to play PF in the league and too slow to play SF, disgraceful pick.

And New Orleans; Davis-Noel front court would've been so damn good in 3-4 years, massive block party but they traded him and their first rounder next season (most likely top 8 pick) for Jrue Holiday despite already having a point guard in Vasquez.
