Best Individual Performance 2018

This award goes to the player who posted the highest individual score in the WXVs Home and Away season for 2018. They must have been selected to play that week as well.

With a score of 143 in Round 8, congratulations Ben Cunnington!

Cunnington was outstanding this season as one of Kate's new recruits, and beats the 137 from Blicavs last year. And if anyone is wondering, Cunners also got the 2nd highest score, with 142 points later in the season!

Coaches Award 2018

One of the most coveted awards of WXVs is the Cobras Coaches Award, and this winner could not be more deserving. Some people award sheer scoring power, others award those guys trying their guts out just to be good enough to play. Some may even award a new recruit who they feel goes unnoticed, and deserves recognition for it. This year, our award will go to a man who was truthful to himself. He could have coasted along, playing in the reserves all year, forever knows as an average man. But he showed courage. He showed strength. He showed honesty. That man, my friends, is none other than Ben Griffiths!

For admitting to the world that you had chosen the wrong career in AFL, Ben, I thank you.

Karen Award 2018

The Karen award is presented to the most disappointing player for the year.

This player had a really good 2017, finishing quite high in the best and fairest, but dropped off by a long way in 2018 when he was expected to take that final step towards premium status. Here's hoping that 2019 bears a lot more points than what this year did. The winner of the Karen Award is Luke McDonald!

Kate Upton Award 2018

The Kate Upton award is presented to the best looking player.

This one was really tight this year, with Griffin Logue trying to back up his performance from last year, but facing some stiff competition. In the end, it came down to him and two others, and the winner of this highly prestigious award is Neighbours star celebrity Jack Bowes!

How he can play football at the elite level and still have time for acting I'll never know.
