Rd 9 Team Lodgement Thread

Some interesting match ups this week which may sort out various positions as a lot of teams playing teams within a couple of positions of each other making predictions even harder this week. A lot of the games may come down to HGA.

Draw - With first named team having the Home Ground Advantage:
Liverpool Rams v Swansea Breakers
13th v 12th - Only % separates these 2 teams on the ladder - Result may come down to captain selections with both swapping captains around each week. Will Goldstein find some form and match Stef? Think whoever wins this battle may get away with the points. Breakers maybe with the win here
Winchester Werewolves v Leeds Leeches
1st v 8th - With the Werewolves in outstanding form at the moment hard to see the Leeches getting over them.  Leeches will be wanting to limit the damage as a huge loss will more than likely see them drop out of the eight.
Oxford Owls v Huddersfield Hawks
9th v 10th - Both teams were coached by assistants last week and will be looking to redeem themselves this week. A strong win by Owls may see them into the 8 whereas a win by Hawks will see them keeping pace just outside the 8. Little separates these 2 sides overall and may come down to team selections and with HGA favour the Owls slightly.
Blackpool Bunnies v Birmingham Dragons
7th v 5th Again both these Teams are level on points only separated by %.  The Dragons will be hoping for more from Captain Mitchell this week after a sub par performance last week. If he regains form then the Dragons should win but they will need to be wary of Cunnington who recorded the second highest individual score last week.  With not a lot of confidence gong Dragons.
Staines Steins v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs
4th v 6th Both teams level on points separated by % again. Hedgehogs will want improved form from Captain Dusty Martin if they are to keep pace with the Steins. Hedgehogs were very disappointing last week and will want to bounce back  an avoid dropping down the ladder. With the HGA Steins should get the job done.
Nottingham Hoods v Hastings Hurricanes
2nd v 3rd - Probably the match of the round with the winner to go a game clear in 2nd place. Hoods continue to get the job done but will find stiff opposition from the Hurricanes. Hoods Captain Macrae has been in outstanding form and unless the Hurricanes can contain him a little will be behind the eightball. If Macrae is contained result may come down to the 13th - 15th players in each team.  Slightly favour Hoods with the HGA.
Manchester Magic v Wrexham Knights
14th v 16th The Magic have been decimated by injuries and unless they can get more players back on the park the Knights are a strong chance of picking up first win of the season. Think the Knights may prevail here but Magic not out of it if players face injury tests this week.
Grope Lane Giants v Bradford Badgers
11th v 15th - Badgers have lost a few games due to vocal home crowds and this week will be no exception as they travel to face the Giants. The Giants are showing steady improvement with their rebuild and may be a bit strong for the Badgers.
