No he's still be getting much less

Note that the 1.5 mill includes the living costs and even if it didnt, 10% of 1.5 mill equates to around 350k less a year than what GWS offered

Talking actual football, I'm not sure how much better this makes Sydney. Tippett isn't as versatile as Roughead. Buddy ain't that cohesive.

But Bolton was veteran listed and on a 1 year contract so I doubt he costed more than 200,000 to the salary cap.

The salary cap equalises the competition by sending a star player from the current Premier to the previous Premier. Balance.
