Just got a chance to get back on the Luther train with the 4th season (only 2 eps).  God this show is great and what all crime shows should try to live up to!  If you haven't checked it out and a fan of Idris Elba, it's a must!

It's just devastating that the seasons are so damn short!  :(  Can't wait for Peaky Blinders and Black Mirror to come back!

i prefer it that way, maybe a few more episodes but not like the US where they have 24 episodes and most are average.
even with the great shows with 24 eps most are pretty average with a few glimpses of WOW

I was hooked on this show after the 1st episode.  The psychiatrist scene sold me :)

i prefer it that way, maybe a few more episodes but not like the US where they have 24 episodes and most are average.
even with the great shows with 24 eps most are pretty average with a few glimpses of WOW

True, I think 6-12 episodes is perfect, 24 is insane!  All to make a few more dollars.

Plenty of shows have broken that mold in the states for shows 40-60 mins...Gotham, Grimm, Lost Girl, Once Upon a Time, Person of Interest, Revenge, Revolution, The Blacklist, The Following to name a few, heaps of shows that have finished now all went around the 20+ episode range.

i love to binge watch too. Like elementary for example, love the show, very solid acting and the story flows for the most part, but @ 24 eps there are some fillers and its like ugh... but yes, 12-16 eps is good for a TV show

No I do like Gotham, but talking about how it almost lost me in the middle there because of how many bloody episodes there were!  Give me 10 eps of Daredevil any day!
