Title: EXV: Round 3 2014
Post by: CrowsFan on April 16, 2014, 11:23:02 PM
Is there a partial lockout this round for the Thursday night match?

Can someone name a team for the Dinos? I'd do it, but I'm playing them this week.

Hawka might end up doing it himself but I think it is unlikely.. Need to sort that this week.

Huggy given me the nod to name the team this week, so here we go :)

Liam Jones FINALLY makes his debut for the club, after being drafted way back in the original draft. He has toiled away in the reserves, but finally gets his chance to shine on the main stage :)

Well I made a stuff up, I didn't name Trent West :( do I just simply have to name an OOP ruck now? My only ruck eligible players are Leuy, West and Martin- all of which play for Brisbane and the only one who actually played was West.

ANYWAY. Here is the team assuming I am not allowed to play West:

No worries :)
But to be honest, it's all part of my master plan to oust you from head coach and take over myself. Once that happens I will insert myself in as an assistant to one of the BXV clubs and do the same again, followed by the AXV. It's a very slow plan, but one day I will rule the XV world!!! >:D

Just kidding, those 2 comps suck, and I would never take over from you huggy :)

1,551

Metal are firing in some aspects and failing in others. Shockers from the emergencies/bench

Are we back? I don't know. Sad to see scores like S. Thompson's 130 odd in the reserves. He scores 50 when he plays for us, 130 when he doesn't.
But always a strong core midfield and forward line performance for the Metal see them score a solid 155.

I tend to agree (I've just been zooming in on this page, rather than click lots of links). I know lots of people have their own preferences for image hosting but I really can't recommend imgur enough. It's just so much better than the others!

Fair call lads. It seems to be an issue with how FF displays the image, as the image itself is a decent size. In fact if you look at the ladder, fixture and results thread - the ladder is actually the smallest image of the lot, yet appears as the biggest.  ::)

I think it is something to do with the length of the image - when I split the results page into 2 pieces but keep the image the same size, it comes up much bigger. Might have to do that going forward... Will also have a look into Imgur also and see if that makes a difference.

Classic slow start to the season bythe Valkyries. FYI spink, it's Ben Jacobs on our list, not Sam :)

Still awesome work Spinks with the graphics :D. Certainly makes it special with them as would be a little work to get to them! Think splitting in two would be the way to go since will enlarge the image to fit the post I guess (not sure how these things work :P).

Iceland had a bad week but not to take anything away from Serbia who just had a massive game. Nice work Holz, I'll hopefully get the better of you next time we meet.
