*Give's myself and AK a pat on the back*

First year in and we got NY to the finals! WooHoo!
It's what happens with Co-Coaches at the helm.  :P (Sorry New Delhi)

So, if Dublin beat Mexico City next week... and PNL and Christchurch win..

We could have Dublin v Mexico City twice in a row

Congrats Dublin on being now a mathematical certainty!

Well done Pacific, New York and Christchurch! And to Berlin for getting back to the finals.

Looks likely that Cape Town and Toronto will miss the finals for the first time ever. Pretty spectacular if Moscow were to lose to Buenos Aires and say TOKYO slips in! Tokyo looking to have its first ever 'winning' season, which is a big achievement

Cairo, Buenos Aires and New Delhi all guaranteed priority picks

I think it's probably best if I ignore this.

Think we can call Rio the unluckiest team team of the year

6th most points (largely without Ablett) and look to finish bottom 4

Levi434

Missing the best SC'er in the comp, and our perma captain for most of the year has obviously been a huge loss but we've also had some other big declines to players due to injury or form.

David Zaharakis (10 games @ 75.2, down from 90 the previous season)
Andrew Walker (7 @ 60, down from 87.9)
Andrew Mackie (9 @ 75.3, down from 86.1)
Paul Chapman (8 @ 60.7, down from 96)
Ryan Harwood (3 @ 58.3, down from 83.1)

Also not to forget the retirements of guys like Waters, Cornes and HMac who were/have been decent scorers. This just hasn't been our season. :(

And the final Home & Away season ladder (and final special ladders):

Christchurch just avoid facing Dublin at the last minute, stealing 3rd from Mexico City. Pacific consolidate a home final, whereas Berlin hold on to get one themselves. Moscow were oh so close to letting it slip, but they get the last spot in finals. Toronto ended up at the dreaded 9th, Rio face the brutality of the universe and finish in the bottom 4, and New Dehli are at least now able to stir the pot :P.

And reserves:

Nothing too major happened, just a couple of teams swapped places within the 8. There are 4 teams whose senior team didn't make finals that made the Reserves finals, so there is still something to cheer for in the next few weeks!

Hellopplz

Marseilles show once again they are one of the premier Reserve sides in the comp season after season 8).

Oh and PNL didn't do too bad either, finishing our highest ever :D.

ossie85

Christchurch almost stole 2nd! 0.07%!!!

Washington missing out with 10-7 is harsh

could be the deciding factor next week, go PNL go

meow meow

Scully getting injured/Dickson getting subbed off cost us 2nd spot!

Oh well, we play better away from home anyway. We let PNL win in round 2 to lure them into a false sense of security but they'd be getting a bit tight around the collar after this week.
