-You must name either a captain (x2) and vice-captain (x1.5) or two co-captains (1.75x each), in addition to the emergency vice-captain. If listed captaincy options are exhausted the first-named non-captain midfielder is promoted.
-Emergencies can be of ANY position and in ANY order.
-Sub SHOULD be named as the last man on the bench to avoid them being called up as a regular replacement.
Hey mods, can't seem to find what are the rules for the byes? Can I get a refresher or pointed in the right direction? Cheers
Pretty much just name your team like your normally do.
Our rounds are structured in such a way that you're able to name players from all 18 teams and not have to worry about the bye.
However, there are partial lockout rules in place as per the OP.
So, it's advised you name your team as your normally do, but remember that players from every team that does not have a bye this week (Round 13) will be locked.
As there's a Thursday night game next week, Crows (who have a R13 bye) will be locked in on Thursday.
Players from the remaining 5 teams (aka the other R13 bye teams) will have their players locked in next Friday.
TL;DR - Name your team as normal, make sure your players from the 12 teams playing this week are named/playing. Come back to this thread next week, and in a new post on Thursday, lock in your Crows, and then players from Suns/Tiges/Saints/Blues/Pies the next day (Friday).
Just a reminder:
I'll be flying out at midnight so Nige will be naming my squad until I return from overseas

Bad luck man, I know how showerty migraines can be.
Luckily for you you only have 9 guys locked out of your XVIII and emergencies, so can still move a lot of your team around it you like and change your captain if need be.
Can I just have C and EVC changed. So from Cripps to Sidey. Thanks.
lets do this upset boys
Score update from my games:
Chicago 1425/15 with T.T. Lynch, Kerridge, Rischitelli, HGA (currently 49) and sub (currently 49 -> 84) to play
New Brooklyn 771/9 with Talia, Sidebottom (c), Newnes, Cripps, Jacobs, D. Thomas, Acres, Weller, M. Crouch, and sub (currently 36 -> Membrey)
Still a long way to go in this one and anything can happen, but you'd back Chicago to get the job done from here.
Santiago 976/10 with Malceski, May, Astbury, Ablett (vc), Armitage, Jenkins, C. Cameron, Dunstan, HGA (currently 34) and sub (currently 34 -> 87) to play
Quito 1137/12 with Simpson (vc), Savage, B. Reid, Gibbs (c), T.J. Lynch, Vlastuin, and sub (currently 41 -> 89)
The travelling Quito with a slight advantage based on Barlow's huge effort.
Ottawa 846/12 with M. Williams, Treloar, Prestia, Grigg (c), Dixon, S. Lloyd, HGA (currently 30) and sub (currently 30 -> Griffiths) to play
Las Vegas 1513/16 with T. Walker, De Goey, and sub (currently 51 -> 73)
Ottawa are really having a mare of a week, and will most likely give the Sinners another win to add to their collection.
And I'm not officially doing my game but I always do my team's score so I know how I'm doing:
Houston 788/10 with Rance, Roberton, Sloane (c), Crisp, B. Ellis, Kruezer, J. Riewoldt, Henderson, HGA (currently 36) and sub (currently 36 -> Weitering)
San Francisco 1245/12 with J. Steven, Deledio (vc), Montanga, Betts, Douglas, K. Kolodjashnij, and sub (Honeychuch 45, not currently required)
SF should get up unless Houston really get a move on.
So filthy. >:(
Will try to do updates for the other games tomorrow or Tuesday. Got an exam tomorrow though so it kinda just depends how I'm feeling when I get back from it.
Boston 1102/11 with Laird, Howe, Pendlebury (c), Cotchin, Riewoldt, Wright, Ross, HGA (currently 68) and sub (currently 68 -> Martin)
Anaheim 1399/12 with Seedsman, Greenwood, Smith, Rosa, Nicholls, Brooksby and sub (Stretch 42, currently not required)
Fairly even game right now, a lot could hinge on captain Pendles for Boston who have the better scores to come. Could even come down to HGA.
Carolina 1062/12 with Docherty, Brown, Edwards, Grundy, Martin, Atkins, HGA (currently 12) and sub (currently 12 -> 59)
Colorado 1104/12 with Tuohy, Harbrow, Thompson, Hickey, Everitt, Curnow and sub (currently 30 -> 53)
Colorado with the edge at the moment, especially with the poor HGA from Carolina. Still could go either way though, hopefully Colorado don't rue omitting Tarrant.

Score Update
Chicago 1510/16 with Kerridge, Rischitelli, HGA (currently 49) and sub (currently 49 -> 84) to play
New Brooklyn 1337/14 with Newnes, Cripps, D. Thomas, Weller, and sub (currently 36 -> Membrey)
This one will be very close, possibly coming down to HGA. The last 7 players to play are all crucial.
Santiago 1058/11 with Malceski, May, Astbury, Ablett (vc), Armitage, C. Cameron, Dunstan, HGA (currently 34) and sub (currently 34 -> 87) to play
Quito 1226/13 with Simpson (vc), Savage, Gibbs (c), T.J. Lynch, Vlastuin, and sub (currently 41 -> 89)
Could be tight but Quito should get up - if Gibbs and Simpson score well.
Ottawa 1101/15 with Prestia, Grigg (c), S. Lloyd, HGA (currently 30) and sub (currently 30 -> Griffiths) to play
Las Vegas 1717/18
The Sinners are still well ahead and only an enormous effort by Grigg would get Ottawa up from here. The good news for Ottawa? They had their first ton last night!
Houston 1181/12 with Rance, Roberton, B. Ellis, Kruezer, J. Riewoldt, Henderson, HGA (currently 36) and sub (currently 36 -> Weitering)
San Francisco 1564/15 with J. Steven, Deledio (vc), Montanga, and sub (Honeychuch 45, not currently required)
Sloane has pulled it back but would take either a big Bomber performance and/or a mare Grizzly performance to get the home side over the line, given the quality of the SF players left and the lack of star power from remaining Bombers.
Also, forgot to name Miles and he's killing it ;-;
Griff being a late out definitely didn't help...
So despite historically-high levels of bullshower by Riewoldt and pretty much every week-2 bomber smashing their average and me somehow not naming Miles the week he goes huge I've gotten up by 10 points, 1868 to 1858 (HGA and sub accounted for). Phew!
My scores will probably be a bit late tomorrow evening, sorry guys. From my previous update you can just do the math if you'd like!

Boston Terriers 20.9.129 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 18.11.119
(Real: 1942 vs 1786)
Anaheim's good run of results has come to an end at the hands of the ladder-leaders Boston, although their score won't lose any fans. Dangerfield was the star, as per usual, for the visitors with a 173 as captain - hopefully for Anaheim their dependence on him isn't too massive. Boston were pretty consistent across the board, although their captain could use some extra training - Pendlebury only managing 87 (like the spud he is).
Best
Boston: Neale, Robinson, Riewoldt, Ross, Dal Santo, LeCras, Goldstein
Anaheim: Dangerfield, Hannebery, Enright, Wood, Greene, Z. Merrett
Carolina Panthers 17.12.114 defeated Colorado Avalanche 16.13.109
(Real: 1711 vs 1640)
Carolina ride another lucky win (why can't I win when I score 114!) towards booking their spot in the top four, while Colorado score reasonably well and were in with a decent shout of their fifth victory for 2016 - but it was not to be.
Best
Carolina: Martin, Docherty, Ward, Kennedy, Grundy, Rioli
Colorado: Bartel, Curnow, Ebert, Mundy, Scully
Houston Bombers 19.10.124 lost to San Francisco Grizzlies 19.11.125

Heartbreak for the Bombers as Sloane and Riewoldt come so so close to throwing them over the line, just falling short by the skin of their teeth to the Grizzlies, who continue their season-long form of conceding bulk points! Stef Martin was back at his best for SF, while Heath Shaw continued his run of good form - which abruptly ended the right week for his score not to count.
Best
Houston: Riewoldt, Sloane, Motlop, Ellis, Vince, Crisp, Puopolo
San Francisco: Martin, Shaw, Montagna, Jack, Coniglio, Deledio, Douglas
Chicago Sharks 17.14.116 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 17.11.113
(Real: 1735 vs 1688)
A pretty close one between the high-flying Sharks and the sink-or-swim Hawks (see what I did there), the home side getting home on HGA - although that HGA was a respectable 49. Chicago VC Selwood was at his usual best, while youngster Matt Crouch inspired NBH towards a near-upset.
Best
Chicago: Selwood, Wells, Yeo, Gibson, Parker
New Brooklyn: M. Crouch, Spurr, Weller, Blicavs
Santiago Cockerels 18.11.119 lost to Quito Quetzals 19.11.125
(Real: 1778 vs 1869)
Now here's an upset - the bottom-placed Quito get a win on the road to possibly derail Santiago's finals hopes! Barlow turned heads with a huge 168 for the visitors while successfully tagging Armitage (66) out of the game, and could have won by more if VC Mitchell turned in his Round 14 score (152) rather than his Round 13 score (110)! Ablett did what he always does - rack it up but can't get the four points.
Best
Santiago: Ablett, Gawn, Zorko, Macrae
Quito: Barlow, McVeigh, Suckling, Mitchell, Vlastuin, Simpson
Ottawa Otters 14.16.100 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 17.13.115
(Real: 1500 vs 1717)
But Quito will stay on the bottom as the Sinners get a big win over the Otters! Ottawa had an absolute mare of a game, spare captain Grigg's solid 116 and Adam Treloar, with only 5 players cracking 80. That's not to take anything away from Las Vegas, who were well lead by captain Rockliff (130) and scored rather consistently across the board.
Best
Ottawa: Treloar, Grigg
Las Vegas: Rockliff, Lewis, Walker, Jones
Ladder
Boston Terriers 10 3 1646 1496 110.03
Chicago Sharks 9 4 1509 1461 103.29
Carolina Panthers 9 4 1514 1479 102.37
San Francisco Grizzlies 8 5 1581 1511 104.63
Santiago Cockerels 6 7 1545 1538 100.46
Houston Bombers 6 7 1466 1473 99.52
-------------------------------------------------------------
Anaheim Mighty Ducks 6 7 1486 1496 99.33
Ottawa Otters 6 7 1483 1515 97.89
New Brooklyn Hawks 6 7 1432 1498 95.59
Colorado Avalanche 4 9 1439 1486 96.84
Las Vegas Sinners 4 9 1331 1381 96.38
Quito Quetzals 4 9 1454 1535 94.72
So the top four and bottom two get wins, with the six sides in the middle lose - although that wasn't without a few close calls! Aside from Houston jumping Anaheim into the top six, the ladder is unchanged - although the Sinners and Quetzals certainly are breathing down Colorado's neck.
