Boston Terriers 16.15.111 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 16.16.112
(Real: 1670 vs 1677)

A real throw-off, as Boston were quite poor(er than usual) all around, with both star CCs in the low-90s, but PK, who - and I quote - "Gonna do research for my team this week", named his lowest scorer as C and third-lowest as VC. But they still managed to pull out the win thanks to twin-159s from Libba and Miers (Messi comparisons are overused and unfunny so I will not be officially doing one). The ND injury obviously hurt NBH for the week and season, while Chayce Jones also getting injured was equally painful as they are both equal players (according to Moonz at least).

Best
Boston: Wilkie, Goldstein, Pendlebury
Brooklyn: Liberatore, Miers, Duggan, Crouch, Crouch

Wisconsin Cockerels 19.12.126 defeated Quito Quetzals 17.12.114
(Real: 1887 vs 1707)

They crept into finals and may have looked a shot against Wisconsin, but they couldn't get close in the end. It was always an uphill battle after Hopper's early injury, and the round was book-ended by Dunkley also falling flat - if both of these were on the inverse end of the spectrum (these coaches definitely know a thing or two about being on a spectrum) they may have stood a chance. CD's favourite Gawn was the standout for the victors, while Moore and Fogarty being switched on were also instrumental, and of course Clarko allowing Ziebell to have his last few chances to seagull possessions while he gets 100 points kicked over his head.

Best
Wisconsin: Gawn, Ziebell, Fogarty, Parish, Moore, Witherden, Duncan
Quito: Serong, McCluggage, Burton, Buckley, O'Brien

Carolina Panthers 17.15.117 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 20.9.129
(Real: 1759 vs 1942)

The game destined to be the closest of the lot ended up being the biggest blow-out, as the Sinners still look the benchmark while Carolina have a few holes to patch if they want to contend. A 42, a 43, and a 44 were big disappointments for the home side, as was Josh Kelly only managing 62 and Milo 52 - but they still salvaged a decent score thanks to Bont, and do get the second chance next week against a Hawks side that they would've beaten this week - but NBH won't have a 41 as Captain next week (you'd hope).

Best
Carolina: Bontempelli, Kelly, Docherty, Stanley
Las Vegas: Newman, Butters, Petracca, Warner, Rowbottom, English
