Its the week before the byes and it is now time to make your move if you have any left to make. Look at your bye opponents, set your team in the best possible way to get alteast 2/3 wins, but most importantly have 18 on field in all 3 rounds. We have more injuries, more restings and an expected weekend on rain, Hall, Tippa, Mitchell are the 3 big outs in quite a few tams, unfortunalty 2 play tonight so cannot be loopholed
This week was the week of the Bics Best, unfortunately it was not the "best", his massive score of 2669 ranked him second for the week and the 2nd highest score of the year. Simply Epic sir and i tip my hat, kiss your boots and grovel till there is no tomorrow.

After missing out on the writeup from last week due to exams we are back with some enticing bouts, top 4 encounters, strugglers faceoffs and mid table matches.
Writeups are on R11, results for R10 below.
Division 1
In the R11 macthups Dos Destroyers won a important match with Frogjumper to leave the latter 2 games behind in last spot. Bombers Rule had an easy win over a hapless Terrifying Glue, FC Hawkstone got the points over X with what happened to be the 3rd lowest score of the week. Stubbsy's Heroes continued his rise up the table into 2nd spot with a win over Schillaci, bics best put the hammer down, turned the music on and went hog wild in a win over WingardiumLobbeosa. $Blues won another epic by 20 points over a high scoing Tailspower, Tiger of Old had an easy win over Corkascrew, Ardy FC goes into a big match next week on the back of a tight win over Spinach and Mountalizians put a 2 game gap over himself and the chasing pack with a win over Cunning Coyotes.

Match of the round â€" $blues vs Spinach

Divison 2
R11 had some outstanding matches with none better than Jive Turkeys vs Tigertuff. In the end Jive Turkeys took the points by a solitary point, likely leaving tigertuff with a bitter taste in his mouth. In the other matches Beef Tannen FC dispatched MC's Mix, Sacre Bleu! scored well to beat The Hulkamaniacs. Ringos Rocky Road is running on smmoth road at the moment with another 4 points. Rngineticians is ticking along wiht a win over Richos has Beens, Bull Dust went big to have an easy win over BlueBaggers, Bored Saints continues to pile on the points, Fantasy Addicts were the prey this time. Raging Marshmellow never looked like losing to McBasketball and PumpedUpCripps had a solid 46 point in over Flying Fids.

Match of the Round â€"  Bull Dust vs Brainpharts

What can i say that i haven't already, bics best deserved him top spot this week, probably deserved more than the 25 points, but them da rules. Slotting into second spot was Bull Dust with a not too shabby 2497. Stubby's Heroes rounded out the top 3 scoring 2432 to keep pace. On the oerall leaderboard Bored Sainst still has a commanding 36 point lead over 2nd spot, bic cesst 25 points this week skyrocketed him from outside the top 10 into 4th spot which goes to show how close the rest of the field is.

In overall points none has yet been able to reel in Bored Saints, and the queue behind him is starting to thin. There are now only 13 teams within 1000 points of our leader. Following in second is Raging Marshmellow, a relatively unknown player to the leagues who came in late, has shown good form this year to prove he has what it takes. Mountalizians FC is the first of the Div 1 participants sitting in third place.

The bye rounds are starting, the vultures are gathering in the skys above, circling ominously with long sharp beaks and bright green eyes piercing the very heart and soul of the Supercoach coaches around the globe, hoping that some will fallby the way side and allow them a feed.
Its best 18 players this week, so not having a full team isn’t the end of the world, making sure you get 18 scoring players each week is the key, if you can’t expect to be falling down the ladder a few places.

What an amazing round of scores. Some very hard luck stories, some lucky wins and a big difference between those with and without the mighty Dangerfield as Captain. He came out and showed why you must have him as either VC or C every week.

Division 1
In the match of the round, Spinach took the points off $Blues in what turned out to be one of the lowest scoring matches of the round. In fact 5 of the losing teams would have taken the points off Spinach this week. In other games. Terrifying Glue scored low, but still got the win over a dismal Frogjumper. X went 2617 to continue to heap the pressure on Dos’ Destroyers. Bombers Rule had no trouble in destroying Top 4 contender Stubby’s Heroes. WingardiumLobbeosa similarily did the job ober FC HAWKSTONE in a landslide. SCHILLACI won a thriller by 9 points over Tailspower. Bics best was comfortable in his matchup over Tiger Oof Old. Corkascrew stole a close one from Cunning Coyotes. In an honorary Match of the round Mountalizians FC stayed undefeated in what was the best game of the season, defeating a valiant Ardy FC 2605 vs 2583. Is that a preview of what we can expect come finals time!!!.

Match of the round â€" bombers rule vs Tailspower

Divison 2
In the match of the round Bull Dust left nothing to chance with a massive 2653 to easily account for a very disappointing Brainpharts 2170. In the other matches Mcbasketball dunked his way like LeBron back into the winners column. Tigertuff toughed out a strong win over the Flying Fids. Raging Marshmellow had another close win, this time over Fantasy Addicts by 33 points. BlueBaggers won a high scoring affair with the Jive Turkeys. Bored Saints proved Richos has beens might just be has beens. Sacre Bleu! Had a strong and important win over Engineticians. Ringos Rocky Road continued his good form with a tight 20 point win over a hard fighting MC’s Mix. The Hulkamaniacs put Beef Tannan FC in a choke hold and made him tap out.

Match of the Round â€"  Bored Saints vs Sacre Bleu!

Man, I'm so bad this season. Loving these write ups, thanks LS! I do play mostly the bottom teams until the end of the seasons so hopefully I can go on a run and make finals, but would be a miracle at this stage!

Ringo

A big thank you LS for all the work you do with the write ups each week and running the competition. Pleased with my efforts after a disastrous start,

Once upon a time there was a group of supercoaches sitting on a wall with 22 players, but then………. BYEs strike and 4 go tumbling off. There are 2 more weeks remaining of hell, before we start to see a resemblance of normality returning to our socially destroying teams. More injuries and restings and those normal teams might just resemble a barren wasteland after a radioactive apocalypse.
3 trades will be the order of the day for most teams, but remember to look at who they are for next weeks big round.

Overall there was a small variety in points score last week, with most players in around the 1970 mark. Averging that across all 3 bye rounds and you will be a happy chappy.

Division 1
In the match of the round, Bombers rule won a thiller over tailspower to energize the home crowd into non stop singing on the way home. In other games Corkascrew inflcted a loss onto Mountalizians, who still looks the team to beat. Ardy FC continued brushing opponents aside taking the scalp of $Blues. Cunning Coyotes had a huge win over bics best. Spinach scored strogly to be too strong for SCHILLACI. FC HAWKSTONE had too much firepoer for Tiger of Old. WingardiumLobbeosa led a procession into Dos Destroyer territory in one of the most lacklustre defences ever seen. Stubby's Heroes took the points over a resurgent Frogjumper and Terrifying Glue went league high to put a x in the loss column of X.

Match of the round â€" SCHILLACI vs Ardy FC

Divison 2
In the match of the round Sacre Bleu! put up the white flag early in the matchup with high flyer Bored Saints. In other matches Tigertuff scored an important win over McBasketball. PumpedUpCripps managed to steal an undeserved win with only 1795, thanks mainly to Fantasy Addicts equally disappointing 1766. BlueBaggers had a great result by pipping Flying Fids by 18 points. Raging Marshmellow continued his good year with a win over Richo's Has Beens/ Brainpharts went large to inflict a loss onto Jive Turkeys. MC's Mix bounced back from the tight loss to score well and knock off Bull Dust after his huge score last week. Hulkamaniacs notched up the century and the 100 point win over Engineticians. Ringo's Rocky Road pulled out a great score to leave Beef Tanna FC going home with no rocky road or points.

Match of the Round â€"  PumpedUpCripps vs Richo has beens

A few very good scores and a few very poor ones aswell this week. Leading the charge was Terrifying Glue with a very strong 2085, followed closely by Brainpharts on 2058 and Ringos Rocky Road with 2050. Only 99 points seperated the top 10 for the week showing how tough it is to make the points.
There has been little change in the leaderboard over the last few weeks with Bored Saints holding a 30 point lead over Mountalizians. At this stage it is going to be difficult for anyone outside the top 3 to catch our leader.
Its a much closer race in the overall points with Bored Saints only holding a 178 point lead, the chasing pack is also alot closer with only 311 points seperating the top 6.

Hi all,
Im going out for dinner shortly and haven't had a chance to write this week yet. Will be doing it when I get home.
In the meantime here are the ladders so those so enthusiastically intrigued. Quite a few interesting things from last week.

Might have time to get the some done before I go, but unlikely to be much

Bye Bye Byes, and its good to see them behind us. Edison once stated that an Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. Pretty adequate when you compare it to supercoach, those who put in the effort to gain the opportunities that most miss will be the ones that end up succeeding. Overall the leagues are shaping up to be a good run to the finish with the top of the tables, mid table and relegation positions all looking like being close run ins to the finish.

Division 1
In the match of the round WingardiumLobbeosa had a very easy win over a Stubby’s Heroes team that had a very poor league low score of 1524. In other matches Tailspower had another win, this time over X. Tiger of Old had a very competitive encounter with Terrifying Glue eventually getting a 51 point win. Spinach was way too strong for Frogjumper and leaving him rooted to the bottom of the ladder well off the pace. Dos Destroyers got a much needed win over Cunning Coyotes. Ardy FC reminded everyone of his strength and title credentials with a huge 2005 and another 4 points. Corkascrew bounced back from the poor result last week with a win over FC HAWKSTONE. SCHILLACI had no trouble in dispatching $Blues and Mountalizians FC is still the team to beat with yet another big score and 4 points backing up last year’s good form.

Match of the round â€" FC HAWKSTONE vs bics best

Divison 2
In the match of the round Bull Dust won a tightly fought match over Beef Tannen FC. Both teams very much in need of wins going forward. In other matches Bored Saints had an easy win over a disappointing Engineticians. Similarly Jive Turkeys had pumped Ringos Rocky Road full of lead. Raging Marshmellow had a close 18 point win over The Hulkamaniacs, after the big win the week before the loss would have been hard to take. MC’s Mix continued his good form with another win this time over the Flying Fids. Sacre Bleu won a low scoring affair over PumpedUpCripps. Brainpharts left Mcbasketball in his wake collecting a big W. Richos Has Beens was given a gimme playing a horrid Tigertuff. Fantasy Addicts was able to brush off last weeks heartbreaking loss to knock off BlueBaggers by 57 points.

Match of the Round â€"  McBasketball vs MC’s Mix (McFight)
