Goodison Park is now the home ground of the Liverpool Rams. We made an enquiry about the usage of Anfield but Liverpool FC, refused to let the club transform their stadium. Everton FC has kindly allowed us to use the ground when necessary. It is to become a fortress for the Rams in the near future as club grows and the playing group matures.

KoopKicka departs the Rams
In breaking news, Co-Coach KoopKicka has departed the Liverpool Rams. The word is that the board at the Rams felt that the chemistry between coaches Nigey and Koop was not there. A reported rift became apparent as Nigey was overheard telling KoopKicka that he thought Koop's 'heart was not with the club'. It is said that Koop already has plans of his own and other commitments. These commitments were present before Koop began his role at the Rams and one can assume it all eventually become too much. It is understood that this comes as a result of it being said that this move 'is in the best interest of all parties involved'. The Liverpool Rams wish KoopKicka all the best in his future endeavours.
News: 26/8/2013 Edition
The Liverpool Rams Fantasy Football Club are proud to announce that their Best and Fairest will be held on Friday 30th August 2013. The winner will be awarded the Monstrum Medal - named in honour of the inaugural coach of the club. The vote count will take place using the 5-4-3-2-1 system, with votes being given in all rounds bar the British XVs North vs South Challenge Round. Dyson Heppell, Adam Treloar and Shaun Grigg are said to be amongst the favourites to take out this honour.
Awards to be given:
The Monstrum Medal - Awarded to the player who polled the most votes through the 5-4-3-2-1 voting sytem.
The Golden Crustacean - Awarded to the player the coach(es) felt contributed the best.
The Shark Bait Award - Awarded to the player that the coach(es) would most like to feed to the monsters of the sea for being a massive potato.
Meanwhile, rumours are abuzz that there will be additions to the Liverpool Rams staff as soon as Wednesday, while names are unknown, there is increasing belief that the newcomers are likely to be friends of coach NigeyS. This comes off the back of KoopKicka leaving the club. Positions said to be filled are that of CEO or Club President, Co-Coach, Assistant Coach and Drafting/Trading Consultant.
Breaking News: Staff Numbers Increase!
In what can only be described as fantastic news for the club, a secret ballot has returned positive results in regards to the Liverpool Rams getting a new co-coach. We, at the Liverpool Rams, would love to welcome vinny! That's not all though, there's another addition to the club, a long time friend of co-coach Nigey has also joined the club to fulfill various roles, please make Toga very welcome! Last but not least, there is one more staff member to be added to complete the Liverpool coaching group, much to the surprise of many, KoopKicka is back with the club, albeit as an assistant coach to lessen his responsibilities and allow him time to attend to other matters. Early word is that people are starting to call this group 'The Band' because there are 4 members, it is unconfirmed whether any of them even remotely like this tag. The group are committed to making sure that the Liverpool Rams never finish last again!
Also, don't forget the Liverpool Rams' Monstrum Medal (Best and Fairest) this Friday the 30th of August!
Glad to be on board with the Lobsters! Good looking young team, can't wait to see what The Band can do with trading and such! 8)

That's a wrap for the vote count, but now we have to hand out a few awards! That's right, this event isn't just celebrating the best and fairest of our club, but we have a couple more to hand out! After that, we'll reveal the top 5, starting with 5th place and working up to our Monstrum Medalist.
The Shark Bait Award
Awarded to the player that the coach(es) would most like to feed to the monsters of the sea for being a massive potato.
CONGRATULATIONS... KIERAN HARPER!
The Golden Crustacean
Awarded to the player the coach(es) felt contributed the best.
CONGRATULATIONS... BRENT 'BOOMER' HARVEY
(http://boundforglorynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Brent-Harvey.jpg)
It's now time to reveal the top 5 for the 2013 Monstrum Medal! Get excited folks, this is the culmination of a less than inspiring inaugural year for the club where we award those who have served us the best.
In 5th place, finishing on 25 votes... SHAUN GRIGG!
Shaun had a great season where he played every game and was very consistent, his best game producing a 134.
Woo Im getting excited here!
In 4th place, finishing on 30 votes... MITCH DUNCAN!
Like Shaun, Mitch was a consistent performer this season where he pumped out plenty of stellar performances, among them was a 159 and 133 which both saw him get 5 votes in those rounds.
In 3rd place, finishing on 32 votes... BRENT 'BOOMER' HARVEY!
Boomer was sorely missed in the first six games of the season but came home strong with some monster efforts. Just quietly, if he played those games, we reckon he could have taken home the Medal.
In 2nd place, finishing on 33 votes... ADAM TRELOAR!
Adam was simply outstanding, managing to poll the max amount of votes of five occasions, he has a bright future and we're happy to have him be one of the leaders of ours.
And finally, in 1st place, finishing on 47 votes... the winner of the 2013 Monstrum Medal... CONGRATULATIONS... DYSON HEPPELL!
Was there ever any doubt? This man's numbers have been nothing short of phenomenal. Dyson polled votes in all but 3 games and was in the best basically every week.
AAAAAAAAAAAND THAT'S A WRAP!
We look forward to seeing you all again next year. ;)
Go Chichago! Well done Heppell on the amazing year.
Huge thanks to Nigey for making this year's B&F possible, his effort has been super.
Bring on 2014 8)
Wow the future is certainly looking up for the lobsters! Especially with the draft picks we have. Bring on 2014 as vinny said!
Nice work Nige, HeppD a very deserving winner - loving the look of the young guns this team has! :o
Just quietly, I think our midfield is actually insanely good. 8)
End of Season News: List Changes (05/09/2013)
The off-season has started and list management is in full swing at Liverpool. Trades have already been made and departures in the form of retirements and delistings have also occurred.
Starting with the trades, the following have been made:
Huddersfield Hawks give: Picks 11 and 29
Liverpool Lobsters give: Clancee Pearce and Jordan Kelly
Comment: We're looking to inject more youth into the squad but have had to wave goodbye to Clancee Pearce, a solid contributor in the club's first year as well as Jordan Kelly, a promising young defender who is yet to debut. We wish them the best in their future endeavours with the Huddersfield Hawks.
Manchester Magic gives: Aaron Black & Dylan Shiel
Liverpool Lobsters gives: Marley Williams & Shaun Grigg
Comment: Marley and Shaun were great servants of the club in 2013 with Shaun finishing 5th in the Monstrum Medal, a fantastic effort, his work ethic will certainly be missed and so will Marley's enthusiasm and consistent efforts in defense. However, with their departures come Aaron Black and Dylan Shiel. Aaron is a very talented young forward and is exactly what we needed moving forward into 2014 while Dylan joins our young, star-studded midfield that is looking to take the competition by storm next year. Welcome Aaron and Dylan!
Swansea Breakers give: Troy Chaplin
Liverpool Lobsters give: Jarrod Witts
Comment: Jarrod played a few games for us this season but was never given the No.1 ruck role due to Todd being ahead of him, then Jake Spencer came from nowhere to rival Jarrod for his spot and as a result we have decided it was in the best interest of both parties that we move on Jarrod on. We wish him the best of luck at Swansea. In return, we welcome experienced defender Troy Chaplin whose been a general of many defensive units for years. He joins the club to sure up our backline and hopefully stop oppositions from getting big scores on the board.
As a result of all of these movements, we at the Lobsters have used all five of our permitted movements for this trade period. We now have the following picks in the upcoming National Draft: 1, 11, 19, 29, 37, 55, 73, 91.
As with any football club, we must cull players from our list, this is no easy job as each player is quite deserving of a spot, but we must do such things to move forward. Mitch Wilkins, Tim Golds, Martin Gleeson, Joe Redfern, Cam Eardley, Derrick Wanganeen and Andrew Collins have all been delisted by the club. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours. In addition to this, Graham Johncock and Brad Dick have retired from this great game, we wish them the best in life outside of football.
End of Season News: List Changes (17/09/2013)
Liverpool Lobsters give: Pick 29 (on-traded from Huddersfield)
Bradford Badgers give: Dennis Armfield.
Comment: Pick 29 was expendable as we had a fair few picks and we wanted to increase our depth. We looked at a few options and shopped the pick we received from the Huddersfield Hawks around in return for a forward. We got our man in the form of Dennis Armfield, a player with F/M DPP status. This helps both lines in which he plays as he becomes good depth for both lines and a provisional Best XV player.
We now have the following picks in the upcoming National Draft: 1, 11, 19, 37, 55, 73, 91.
End of Season News: List Changes (25/09/2013)
Liverpool Lobsters give: Jordan Schroder + Pick 37
Swindon Swaggers give: Simon Black + Tom Hickey
Comment: Schroder is a young Cat who hasn't played many games due to their depth and list of talent, but should get more opportunities as Geelong's older mids leave. Pick 37 is an odd on to even out the trade. While it's not going to get a superstar, it should get a decent player if used well. Black's no certainty to go around again, but I reckon he's got one more year in him and his old teammate and now coach Leppa should at least give him another year and Hickey's a good back-up ruck for Goldy (in case Spencer doesn't get played by the Dees with Gawn/Fitzy in contention) and should get better and improve his scoring even if he's stuck behind McEvoy for a little bit.
Liverpool Lobsters give: Sam Naismith and Dan Nicholson
Staines Steins give: Hayden Crozier and Luke Delaney
Comment: Tabs was interested in Naismith and I was looking to offload one of Nicholson or Wright for a forward to boost my depth. I then realised that Tabs had Delaney in the 'delistings or sweeteners' category and thought I'd ask for him in hope that he either makes it to the Saints or gets picked up by another team.
Liverpool Lobsters give: Pick 55
Bradford Badgers give: Nick Duigan
Comment: Happy to cough up our 4th rounder to get another player in to the team. Hoping Duigan can keep getting games like he did later in the year and be decent depth for our side. This is one of our additional movements.
Birmingham Bombers give: Pick 49
Liverpool Lobsters give: Alex Browne
Comment: Happy to offload one of my many defenders and a pick is fine to replace him on my list.
We now have the following picks in the upcoming National Draft: 1, 11, 19, 49, 73, 91.
End of Season News: List Changes (03/10/2013)
Liverpool Lobsters give: Tom Hickey (additional list movement)
Winchester Werewolves: Tom Curren
Comment: Colli wants a young ruck and I'm happy to give away Hickey since I still have Spencer, plus I want to increase my depth and Curren should be a solid addition to my midfield and looks to be a part of the Saints plans.
We now have the following picks in the upcoming National Draft: 1, 11, 19, 49, 73, 91.
End of Season News: List Changes (19/10/2013)
Oxford Owls give: Travis Cloke + Brett Goodes + Lewis Johnston + NAT #9 + NAT #44
Liverpool Lobsters give: Aaron Black + Dylan Shiel + Mitch Duncan + NAT #11 + Troy Chaplin
Comment: To break it down. Vin has been chasing Mitch Duncan and a defender like Chaplin for a while, while I've been doing the same for Goodes and Johnston. While we're both going young, we're both holding on to and looking for a bit of experience as well. Pick 9 for 11 is a small difference. I have a stack of defenders so losing Chaplin is fine. Black's young and should only get better while Cloke's pretty good as it is and I don't think his output will improve, but I'm happy to have him considering his potential to score quite nicely. I only use one list movement too as all that I'm giving bar Duncan are picks or players I've received this period, thus meaning they're being on-traded.
We now have the following picks in the upcoming National Draft: 1, 9, 19, 44, 49, 73, 91.
End of Season News: List Changes (17/11/2013)
Newcastle Falcons give: Lindsay Thomas and Jackson Paine
Liverpool Lobsters give: Brent Reilly and ND Pick 49
Comment: Our forward line could use an extra starting forward and at worst would mean pushing another player to the interchange. This is good for our team who at times last season struggled to field a side. Brent Reilly is an older member of our squad and Jackson Paine injects a bit of youth and should get more games in 2014 while Pick 49 was happily on-traded.
We now have the following picks in the upcoming National Draft: 1, 9, 19, 44, 73, 91.
Vinny goes south to the Owls
The Liverpool Lobsters gathered late last night behind closed doors to listen to an announcement from Co-Coach vinny. He stated his desire to leave the Lobsters to be sole coach at a team of his own. It is understood Noz of the Oxford Owls has resigned, leaving his post unattended and open for vinny to walk straight in. We thank vinny for all his work over his time with us and wish him the worst best at Oxford.
:'(
Sorry fellas!
It was good fun while it lasted and I am sure with the knowledge of the coaching board, the Lobsters will improve. Very solid young team that has very good potential and will cause damage in years to come.
Looking forward to taking them on in 2014 :)

GoLions16 gets on board, KoopKicka demoted
and Toga returns from overseas
In a big coup for the Liverpool Lobsters, the board has recruited GoLions16, also known as Dave. Dave has joined the team to help us climb the BXVs ladder and keep be a part of the XVs experience. He was put to work straight away and was tasked by Coach Nigey with creating a slogan for the 2014 season. After a bit of thinking and deliberation, the process was concluded and Dave conjured up the following: Liverpool Lobsters - You won't sea us coming! Coach Nigey was reportedly thrilled with Dave's immediate impact and helpfulness and thus promoted him to right hand man while demoting KoopKicka due to his lack of activity and assistance in recent times. It has been reported that CEO Toga is also back from his end of season trip to the USA and the staff will soon sit down to discuss the upcoming drafts.
I smell beef between KoopKicka and head coach, NigeyS. :o

The British XVs 2013 National Draft Selections
#1 Jack Billings
(http://resources1.news.com.au/images/2013/11/21/1226765/663497-ec90fd48-52a5-11e3-b7b4-89041ea3763d.jpg)
We, the Liverpool Rams, are very excited to welcome Jack Billings to our football club. Jack was selected with the Pick #1 in the British XVs National Draft. He's a player that has played a half forward role but has all the traits of a midfielder. He's polished, has an elite kick on both sides and knows where the goals are. We feel Jack compliments our club perfectly and feel like it's only a matter of time before Jack repays the faith invested in him by the club to select him with the very first pick of the draft.
#9 Luke Dunstan

With our second pick of the BXVs National Draft and #9 overall, we have selected Luke Dunstan to join our club. We, the Liverpool staff, had our sights set on picking up Dominic Sheed, but he was taken two picks before us at #7 by the Birmingham Bombers. Luke brings leadership skills, strength, composure and smarts to the club. His presence in our midfield for years to come will be highly valued as we move forward into the future. He's ready to play and is an accumulator. He just racks it up, uses it well and attacks it hard. These all are assets that we at Liverpool just couldn't ignore.
#19 Lewis Taylor
(http://www.lions.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/BrisbaneLions/Images/Taylor_Pose-hero.jpg)
Our 19th pick in the BXVs National Draft has been used to select Lewis Taylor. Lewis, like Luke - our previous selection, is a midfielder. Lewis has been described as a pocket rocket due to his size but speediness. His pace is something to behold and is one of the quickest players in the pool. His disposal is of top quality and he gets a lot of the pill which excites us. He's also good in tight but can use his pace to create space. Another fine aspect of Lewis' game is his ability to control the game on his own terms, this is something we Liverpudlians simply find attractive. We firmly believe the best way to describe the selection of Lewis Taylor using the phrase "big things come in small packages".
#44 Ben Brown
(http://resources3.news.com.au/images/2013/11/20/1226764/634643-footballer-ben-brown.jpg)
Ben Brown becomes the latest player to make his way to the Liverpool Rams football club by way of BXVs National Draft pick #44. As a ruckman and tall forward, Ben is nothing but an asset to us. Our ruck division is weak, only being held together by Todd Goldstein and Jake Spencer, so adding Ben to the mix deepens the depth and strengthens the stocks. In Ben, we see great aerobic capacity, a strong pair of mitts for contested marking and a competitor at ground level. This is fantastic for a man of his size. All this makes up a fine selection and addition to our team, so welcome Ben.

The British XVs 2013 Rookie Draft Selections
#1 Eli Templeton
(http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/51NT-wivS9Y/maxresdefault.jpg)
The British XVs 2013 Rookie Draft has begun, and just like the National Draft, we had the first pick. Unlucky to be overlooked in the National Draft, we used Pick #1 on Eli Templeton. Eli has been described as being akin to our very own inaugural Monstrum Medal winner - Dyson Heppell. Templeton can run all day, but isn't quick. He kicks well and can play off half-back, on the wing or on the ball. He is a bit smaller than a lot of other mids so he could assume an outside role despite being more than happy to put his head over the ball and cop a knock or two. Eli should prove a valuable addition to our mix of young midfielders.
#19 Tom Sheridan
(http://resources3.news.com.au/images/2012/08/30/1226461/932307-tom-sheridan.jpg)
Tom Sheridan was selected with our second and the 19th pick overall in this rookie draft. He was one of the players from the unallocated player pool. To get Tom, a developing young mid to our club, was a real coup we feel. Our midfield is now nicely stocked to head in to the season. Shero brings a fantastic fashion sense to the club and rumours are that he and KoopKicka are getting ready to go on a Christmas shopping spree for the club's Kris Kringle/Secret Santa.
#37 Jacob Ballard
(http://northernbluesfc.com.au/images/Ballard.jpg)
Our third selection was #37 and with it we brought Jacob Ballard to the club. His ability to play as both a midfielder and rebounding defender is handy. If Jacob does go on to be a defender for us, we will be quite happy. He's got endurance a plenty and work ethic in spades. Loves the contested ball and puts pressure on his opponents. These attributes are part of what we want from our players and if Jacob can deliver all of this for us, we will certainly be rapt.
#56 Henry Schade

Hahahaha. I had a feeling there might be a few comments about his family members when I posted the pic.
Hahaha yes true. Like I said very good pick KB, will be very good for you guys. :)
Haha sorry wasn't thinking straight.
Yeah, we're quite happy to have Letitia around the club too. :P
Jack Billings and Luke Dunstan with 1 and 9, quite happy so far. 8)
And that's our drafting wrapped up for the year.
We look forward to doing it all again next year. 8)
Haha yes Tommy! Lets go buy some presents! ;D

Lobsters become Rams
The club has changed it's name! Yes, that's right. The Liverpool Lobsters are no more, as the club now becomes the Liverpool Rams. The board, along with Head Coach Nige and his assistants discussed late into the night of the 20th and the league administrator approved the change yesterday.
It is believed that this is part of the image change brought to the club when Coach Nige came in. The Rams head into season 2014 in a position that the recruiters didn't coming. An even spread was desired amongst all positions, but an excess of midfielders means we have several players that won't get game time this year.
There are still more surprises in store for the supporters of the club heading in to the season and the board plans to reveal them in due course. Meanwhile, the club will sit and work out our long-term plan.

Not too sure, shouldn't be too far away though. Still think a few teams are yet to have their photo days.
In 2014, the Liverpool Rams will have a weekly review after the conclusion of the round.
The Monstrum Medal votes will be announced in this review.

1. Tom Curren (107) Review:The re-branded Liverpool team - now called the Rams traveled to play the reigning champions of BXVs - the Winchester Werewolves. The Rams were always going to be the underdogs and battled hard, only to fall short to the competition's behemoths. Captain Adam Treloar starred and received support from vice captain Dyson Heppell, both producing big numbers to lead from the front. Young gun Luke Dunstan impressed on debut and coach NigeyS couldn't stop singing his praises. The team's tagger Matt Thomas also stood up as an experienced member of the side, while Tom Curren also featured prominently in the loss. At the conclusion of Round 1, the Rams sit in 17th after the heavy loss to the Werewolves. Coach NigeyS is positive that the team can bounce back, particularly new recruit Travis Cloke who had a nightmare of a game and was subbed for Tommy Sheridan. Next week, the Rams host the Nottingham Hoods at Goodison Park, our home ground.

1. Josh Gibson (101) Review:The Liverpools Rams played their first game at their new home - Goodison Park where they hosted the Nottingham Hoods. Yet again, the Rams were very much the underdogs in this fight and they couldn't topple the stronger side as the boys suffered a 16 point loss. The eldest member of our flock lead the way and showed the younger lads how it should be done. Defender Sam Wright was a late withdrawal which allowed Nathan Brown to take his place in the side. Unfortunately for Nathan, he popped his shoulder during the game and faces at least a month watching from the stands. Lindsay Thomas had a poor game and was eventually subbed for Tommy Sheridan who yet again performed well after taking off the green vest. Travis Varcoe trained strongly and played well in the reserves and looks likely to get a call up for our next clash against the Swansea Breakers.

1. Todd Goldstein (110) Review:Victory is ours! Round 3 has come and gone, the Rams relished the underdog tag against last year's preliminary finalist - The Breakers and came out on top to record their first win of the season. The star of the show was our captain, Adam Treloar. Adam was dominant and couldn't be stopped as he thoroughly enjoyed the conditions. Undermanned in defense, Coach Nigey had no choice to elect another team member to fill the void in defense. Lindsay Thomas was sent down back and was serviceable. Young gun Luke Dunstan was also very impressive and is currently one of the favourites for the BXVs Rising Star award. Vice captain Dyson Heppell started slowly but picked up after half time, as did the team fossil, Brent Harvey. Todd Golstein also played nicely to feature in the best and bounced back from an off week. An injury to Michael Walters who will miss next week and another bad week for Travis Cloke was disappointing. Overall, the team was immense and the win was the result of hard work. The next game for Liverpool is away against Oxford Owls, where bragging rights are on the line against Coach Nigey's good friend and rival, Vinny.

1. Scott Thompson (115) Review:Unfortunately, it was back to more familiar territory for the Liverpool Rams. The Oxford Owls were too good on the night and took home the bragging rights that were much sought after. The team had a few passengers, and the forward line didn't stand up, with Michael Walters a notable absentee through injury, and his missing influence was telling. Former Owl, Travis Cloke has been struggling and that continued as he was held goalless. And if Trav's problems weren't enough, Lindsay Thomas performed even worse and was subbed off. Tom Curren came on and had a bit of influence. The Rams defenders had a good game, but still leaked goals while the midfield lost the battle even with a pretty decent effort. Ultimately, the tale of the tape was that we caught the Owls on a good week. Dyson Heppell was the shining light in a performance that showed why he's a worthy option of team captain. The Rams host the Blackpool Bunnies this week at home and the rumours are that the selection axe may be swung on a few players.

1. Matt Arnot (88) Review:It was more of the same for the Liverpool Rams this week as we went down to the Blackpool Bunnies. The team was disappointing, especially captain Dyson Heppell who was rewarded with the armband after some good form. The team's most senior member - Boomer Harvey stood up and performed the best, but his efforts weren't enough as the team had too many passengers. Perhaps the biggest news from this week was that both Travis Cloke and Lindsay Thomas replied positively to being dropped by having a good game in the reserves. Sub Tom Curren came on for a struggling Eli Templeton who may get dropped this week. Travis and Lindsay are a good chance to return, and the club's doctors will assess Nathan Brown and Tim Mohr who may be able to return from injury, while Scott Thompson will be absent for our next game after copping a one week suspension. Next week's game will see us travel to Old Trafford to face the Manchester Magic.

If you take into account that I nabbed Dunstan at #9, then it doesn't look as bad. :P
But yeah, I didn't think Goodes would go out of favour at the Dogs. Didn't think Lewis Johnston would fail to cement a spot in the Crows team without Tex etc.
However, my forward depth has been fine... but my defensive depth has been mainly wrecked by injuries. 4 of the 7 defenders I'd be okay with starting have been injured at some point now, while others have been suspended or dropped now or then. :(
Oh well, gotta roll with the punches. ;)
At least I'll get a good draft pick. 8) I'm fairly sure I know who I want as well, and I'm pretty confident that I'll get at least one of them (especially since it's likely we'll finish bottom 4).

Adam is a superstar already and is a part of our leadership group for good reason. He posted a huge 225 in a dominant display and showed the rest of the competition just how good he can be. He's been captain in several rounds this season and we expect him to continue to sport the armband in rotation with Dyson Heppell for many years to come.

Boomer is a gun, plain and simple. The oldest player on our list by a mile is well and truly one of our best. He's a great leader around the club and scores well most weeks. Without him, the club would have certainly struggled to place where we did this season and we hope he can soldier on for many years to come and he's only getting better with age.

Draft News
With the folding of our rivals, the Swindon Swaggers as well as the Newcastle Falcons, a draft for their personnel has commenced. Many solid players are available as free agents and the coach NigeyS along with assistant Toga have held talks over recent days to decide which player to select from the pool. After plenty of deliberation, it was decided that the defensive structure of Liverpool's favourite team was in need of help. After scanning the pool and factoring in several bits of criteria, the club came to a conclusion one man in particular suited the club's needs more than any other. Without further ado, please welcome the sixth selection in the recycled players draft and the Rams' first of two selections - Grant Birchall!
Grant is one of the top defenders in the competition and is a welcome addition to the Liverpool back line.
The current draft for the free agents from the Swaggers and Falcons has reached the second and final round. Subsequently, our pick has come and gone. After watching other clubs make their selection, our club was set on selecting a forward, but remained open to the option of adding another defender to our list where we needed further numbers. After careful deliberation, NigeyS and Toga once again sorted through potential options and withered the candidates down to two. Upon further research, the club went ahead and recruited another defender to the club. Please welcome - Jed Adcock!
Jed is a fine defender and adds both experience and leadership to the Liverpool outfit.
List News
This afternoon the club made several phone calls and requested that six players make their way to Liverpool Rams HQ. Upon arrival, the boys were walked into the boardroom by assistant coach Toga where they met with head coach NigeyS and No.1 ticket holder - Sir Paul McCartney who was present after being invited to the club for a special luncheon and post-season review. The six players were Brett Goodes, Kieren Harper, Rory Atkins, James Polkinghorne and rookies Jacob Ballard and Dylan Van Unen. They were informed that their contracts with the club have been terminated and their services are no longer required. None of the players tasted very much success for the club, although Kieren Harper departs with an award from the club's award night in 2013. They are wished the best in their future endeavours.

2015 PREMIERS!
Press Conference
Fresh off winning the BXVs Premiership for 2015, Coach Nige, captain Todd Goldstein and vice captain Adam Treloar are ushered into a press conference.
Reporter: So it's the morning after the night before, how do you guys feel?
Nige: *Incoherent rambling that goes for way too long*
Goldstein: Good win by the lads. It was a long, tough season and the boys were super impressive all season to take it out.
Treloar: Yep, Nige was amazing as coach as he has been for his whole tenure with the club, we're glad to give back to him and the people of Liverpool.
Nige: Aw shucks, you guys da real MVPs. Especially you Goldy, you gorgeous tall thing.
Goldstein: Uh yeah, thanks boss.
Awkward looks are exchanged as the reporter clears her throat.
Reporter: Are you one and done, Nige?
Nige: Nope, never. Success forever.
Treloar: We definitely don't want Nige to leave the club. He's made fantastic progress from where we were when he took over. If you leave me now, you'll take away the biggest part of me.
Nige: Adam, don't serenade me like that in front of all these people or you'll be delisted like Jed Adcock.
Treloar: My bad.
The reporter begins to collect herself and slowly begins to rise and walk away.
Reporter: Um, I think I'm gonna not continue this press conference. Thanks for your time.
Nige: Bye friend, come back soon, or don't, or we'll unleash Trav on you. That's Cloke, not Varcoe.
Todd Goldstein and Adam Treloar leave the scene as Nige chases after the reporter for a hug.
Recycling this stuff because I'm lazy...
Not going to have a fancy write up for the Monstrum Medal like last time, but still a few awards to give out.

We have a new leader after Round 10 with Adam Treloar taking a narrow lead over Todd Goldstein while the leader after the first 5 rounds in Dyson Heppell has slipped into 3rd.
The next award is the Lord of Liverpool award which is essentially the Coaches Award given to the player the coach thinks deserves a shoutout. In a surprise, the award this year has joint winners! The 2015 winners of this award are... HAMISH HARTLETT AND ADAM TRELOAR!
(http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Media/Images/340990-tlsnewsportrait.jpg) (http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/Media/Images/362972-tlsnewsportrait.jpg)
After crossing from Birmingham during the offseason, Hamish was declared a certain starter in the Liverpool midfield. His staggering consistency and impressive performances helped him secure this award. Adam is known for being Liverpool's second in command, often getting vice captaincy duties and somehow always being the bridesmaid and never the bride, so this award isn't just for this season but years of consistency and quality.

Todd Goldstein has catapulted into the lead after getting maximum votes in the past 4 rounds. The question now is: can anyone stop him?
The next award is the Golden Potato award which is given to the Biggest Underachiever over the course of the season. The 2015 winner of this award is... JED ADCOCK!
Jed was picked up in the Recycled Players Draft and was earmarked as the final piece of the puzzle to complete the Rams' defensive quartet after Grant Birchall was also picked up in the same draft. He started the season well but his performances dropped off considerably and he lost his spot down back to Sam Wright and in some weeks was not even considered for the emergencies. A true fall from grace.

Congratulations to Goldy on being the winner of the Monstrum Medal for 2015! It was a big year for him and he was one of the main reasons the club made finals and took home the premiership. He proudly wore the captain's armband several times and put in some of the best performances British XVs has seen. He has also successfully deprived Dyson Heppell of a third consecutive Monstrum Medal and left Adam Treloar as the bridesmaid once more. Well done on a magnificent and dominant year, Todd Goldstein!

Nah, Trav's a good bloke for chickening out of the grand final and allowing Ben Brown to a premiership player, that's all I've ever wanted. As such, Trav will leave most likely be leaving Liverpool because he can't handle the constant gloating of his premiership teammates.
Hrovat could have won it, but I'm so mad at him that he doesn't even deserve an award. He's on sale for a packet of chips.

Announcement
The Liverpool Rams Football Club is delighted to announce that fanTCfool has joined the club as an assistant coach! It's believed that Coach Nige made contact over the weekend and put forth the lucrative offer to which fanTCfool said yes. Not much else is known at this time as the signing came as a shock to everyone associated with the club as rumour had it that Nige was quite satisfied running the show on his own with little to no internal or external help. Stay tuned for more developments.
Very pleased to have joined the reigning premiers for the 2016 season! ;D
No doubt we'll be talking in three-peats and four-peats in the years to come 8)
Liverpool BnF update!
Votes are awarded under the 5-4-3-2-1 system. 5 for the best score and so on and so forth. In the event two players score the same, both players are awarded votes for the corresponding placement.
Here are the votes and the tally up to Round 10!

Treloar holds a very strong lead but can still be caught! Will Goldy go beastmode and push for back-to-back monstrum medals or will James Kelly pull off a miraculous upset? Let us know!
Something tells me Goldy will be very keen to come home with a wet sail! Should be close!

Hello friends, it's time to announce the best and fairest for the Liverpool Rams in 2017. The award is otherwise known as the monstrum medal after the founding coach of Liverpool.
Before we get to announcing the winner of the medal for 2017, there are a few other highly coveted awards that get distributed here at Liverpool.
The Leader of the Flock award is presented to the best individual performance of the year.
The Lord of Liverpool award is the coaches award to player the coach feels is worthy of recognition.
The Golden Potato award is handed out to the biggest underachiever as a thanks for nothing.
The Leader of the Flock for 2017 is awarded to Dayne Beams after an amazing effort in Round 9 where Liverpool beat Swansea.
The Lord of Liverpool for 2017 is awarded to Ben Brown for stepping up and showing he's the future of Liverpool's forward line.
The Golden Potato for 2017 is awarded to Josh Gibson who was underwhelming before injury struck in what could be his final year.

Trade News
Liverpool has kicked off 2017 BXVs trade period with serious intent as the club has completed 3 trades in the first 48 hours. It is believed the club undertook a serious review of the shortcomings of 2017 and decided to be aggressive and bold in their actions moving forward. A serious weakness and issue the club faced in 2017 was a lack of midfield depth, at one point having to player two players out of position which was not ideal and ultimately embarrassing and costly.
The first trade made by the club was a smaller trade. Having identified an excess of forwards, James Stewart and Josh Begley were traded to Staines in return for good young mid Jack Bowes and resilient defender Nick Robertson. Coach Nige is said to be quite happy with getting two promising youngsters in the positions in which Liverpool has been lacking.
The second trade was a big three way trade with Wrexham and Bradford which saw dual monstrum medallist Dyson Heppell leave the club for Bradford and Alex Fasolo also heading out, but the Wrexham. In return, the Rams received the services two consistent midfielders, Dion Prestia and Mark Blicavs. Coach Nige believes that these two have the quality of Heppell and essentially getting two midfielders for one will help address the aforementioned mid shortage.
The third trade made by Liverpool was a somewhat controversial move which saw the best and fairest winner of 2016 and 2017 Adam Treloar depart the club for rival Grope Lane. Adam was an outstanding servant of Liverpool and the decision to let him go was difficult, but two fine midfielders in Jarryd Lyons and Hugh Greenwood, both extremely capable of producing performances much like Treloar, have come to the club. Again, Nige is sure that the club has not sacrificed quality in favour of quantity stating that he rather the mids play as utilities and not forwards as was the case in 2017.
Coach Nige is said to be extremely happy with the moves this summer and gone on to declare Dayne Beams as club captain ahead of 2018. It is unknown at the time whether the club will continue to be active in the trade period but insiders and industry sources suggest the club is in the market for a starting defender. At the stage, it's believed the club is taking picks 5, 19 and 24 to the draft but are willing to move any of them in an appropriate deal.
Stay tuned for the next edition of Trade News!
List News
It's been a busy trade period for Liverpool with the club exhausting all but one of the allotted movements for BXVs clubs. The work of Coach Nige has been aggressive, but it is believed that he's very happy with the result. The primary focus of the trade period was to achieve list balance, set the team up for current and future success, and also to get rid of the issue that has plagued the club over two seasons - that being a shortage of mids.
The club will enter the draft with picks 5, 19, 27 and 35 to add youth to the list and round of the squad for 2018. At this stage,
there is no indication as to whether Nige has a specific draft strategy or is flexible in his approach. It was initially thought he would be stocking up on mids but recent trade acquisitions have likely changed that plan. The 'best available' approach seems like it could be the one favoured, but one can only guess for now.
At this stage, no further delistings have been planned with the club looking to retain all the current players but their hand may be forced in the coming weeks. Nige is happy to use rookie picks if it comes to that but it's understood that he would prefer not to in an ideal world.
With the newfound depth at the club, many are speculating as to the best XV for 2018 and who might be in the leadership group. New recruit Hugh Greenwood is already very popular and said to be one of the coach's favourites. Dayne Beams is expected to be officially appointed captain for next season before year's end but the club will put off any kind of announcement until year's end.

Ceremonies are fun and all, but man's taking the easy way out again this year.
The Liverpool Rams best and fairest has been run and won under a 5-4-3-2-1 voting system where the best player gets 5 votes and the next four get 4-3-2-1 respectively. Should any two players score equally any given week, both shall receive the vote value for that placing.
As a result...
