Stevie Gerrard showing he can still find the back of the net.... what do people think of him in fantasy relevance?

When we find ourselves in times of trouble
Stevie G runs past me
Playing the game with wisdom, Stevie G

And in my home, the Spion Kop
We watch him jog, right in front of me
Spreading balls with wisdom, Stevie G

Let it be, let it be, let it be, Stevie G
The local lad turned hero, Stevie G

And when the jubilant Kopite people
All living in The Park agree
That we all know the answer, Stevie G

And although we may all be fooled,
There is still a chance that we will see
The footballing phenomenon, Stevie G

Let it be, let it be, let it be, Stevie G
Spreading balls with wisdom, Stevie G

And when the night is cloudy
There is still a man that we all see
A young, committed Kopite, Stevie G

Playing to the sound of music
Stevie G runs past me
Playing the game with wisdom, Stevie G
Let it be, let it be, let it be, Stevie G

For we all know the answer, his name is Stevie G

Definitely still relevant, just need to pick when you have him and when you don't these days.

Official FPL FF Leagues

Okay Guys and Gals,

Two Leaues created and the League codes. I have limited the Head to Head League to 38 at this point. If we get those numbers then everyone plays each other once. If more show up to join we can make a call to either increase the size of this League to unlimited in which case not everyone will play each other, or create a Second Division; maybe with a view to some promotion/relegation next year?

FanFooty El CLassico (CLassic League) - League Code: 61032-114725

FFH2H (Head to Head League) - League Code: 61032-114769

Spread the word!

Given Liverpool's kind early fixture and the fact Gerrard has corners, free-kicks and penalties pretty well wrapped up with Suarez almost certainly heading out... I'm very interested ;)

Only issue might be resting/subbing as Pool look to manage him through his 2 year contract..

Nice well rounded team Koop. I like that you've gone with both RVP and Bale, it's what I am trying to achieve. If you can make a decent team, then Bale leaves the EPL, it's going to feel good reinvesting that extra cash into the lineup :)

I wouldn't consider Price myself. C Palace come up into the Premiership with the worst defence of the new trio. There are better options around at that price.

Your defence is great value for money. I would be inclined to funnel some of those funds forward, but you have a good skeleton. Agger would be the one I suggest is slightly overpriced, but I will say that about any defender 6.0 or over to start the season with. Defenders like Baines are definitely worth their price tag, but I would prefer to make the money and bring them in later in the season. Keep an eye on Toure, I'm not sure how he will fit into our defence. I suspect he is there to add a bit of depth to cover injuries/suspensions.

Mids and Fwds are solid. If you do funnel those funds forward I would be looking at other options for Cornelius/Pienaar/Arteta. I don't know a lot about Cornelius, but will have a look at him now :) Pienaar - Fellaini? Arteta should be okay early on with Arsenal' fixture, so for me, would be the most likely of that trio to hold a spot. The more I look at Snoddy, the more I think he presents great value! The only thing worrying me about him is Noriwch backing up on last years effort. If they stumble, he will stumble as well.

Bale missed tonight's game with injury. Cause for concern? Or just a knock?

I think it's more important to note that Sunderland got up!  ;D

Jukes

How is my side looking? Haven't put that much into it yet.

Stekelenburg (Vorm)
Mertesacker, Luiz, Baines (Garrido, Baker)
Snodgrass, Mata, Wanyama, Coutinho (Colback)
van Wolfswinkel, RVP, Anelka
