For some reason my old thread has been deleted so have made this one.

Had a terrible round 6 with a score of 2,037 which has pushed my rank back to 17,098

Current team:

D: McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Suckling, Mcdonald, Langdon (Langford, Georgiou)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Rocky, Beams, Polec, Tyson, Dunstan, Crouch (Robertson, Taylor)

R: Sandilands, Goldstein (Currie, Thurlow)

F: Dangerfield, Gray, Pavlich, Martin, Buddy, Fasolo (Impey, JKH)

23 trades, $173,600

I could happily rage trade Buddy out right now but it would barely seem worth it.
Will wait and see the extent of his and Fasolos injuries but hopefully none are serious.

Really trying to set up for the byes now to make some ground.

Currently have 11 round 8 players, 7 round 9 players, 12 round 10 players

Really want to grab Watson in the mids but who should I downgrade to get him?

quinny88

Am thinking these trades..
McDonald > Cutler
Dunstan > Watson

i like those trades.
you have to build up that money quick for the byes and bring in those premos.

check out my team and trade thoughts

Round 7 score of 2321 moves me up to a rank of 10,970

Current team

D: McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Suckling, Cutler, Langdon (Langford, Georgiou)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Rocky, Beams, Watson, Polec, Tyson, Crouch (Robertson, Taylor)

R: Sandilands, Goldstein (Currie, Thurlow)

F: Dangerfield, Gray, Pavlich, Martin, Buddy, Fasolo (Impey, JKH)

21 trades, $112,000

Players in red either have the bye or are injured with Buddy and Langford unknown.

Any suggestions?

Are you going to hold Mitchell?

Not anymore haha. Probably will hold him this week then trade to Swallow next week

quinny88

Trades for round 8

Mitchell > Burgoyne
Crouch > Hartung
Fasolo > Acres (Via Taylor)

gives me almost 500k to upgrade Tyson to Selwood and Langford for Swallow/Bartel next week

quinny88

Have managed to make some really good ground over the byes and am now ranked at 2,243

Current team:

D: McVeigh, Burgoyne, Simpson, Swallow, Suckling, Langdon (Langford, Georgiou)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Rocky, Beams, Watson, Polec, Tyson, Hallahan (Robertson, Acres)

R: Sandilands, Goldstein (Currie, Thurlow)

F: Dangerfield, Gray, Pavlich, Martin, Buddy, Taylor (Impey, JKH)

17 trades, $161,100

In red are the players with the bye this week. Definitely going to need 3 trades this week to cull some of these cows!

Thinking of these trades!

Tyson > Selwood
Robertson > Hartung
JKH > Cameron

This means that I can field 19 players for round 10 and also have $361,200 for upgrades the following week where I would like to get in some cheap upgrades in Hanley down back and Goddard in the middle giving me a post bye side of

D: McVeigh, Burgoyne, Simpson, Swallow, Hanley, Suckling (Langdon, Georgiou)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Rocky, Beams, Watson, Goddard, Hallahan (Hartung, Acres)

R: Goldstein, Sandilands (Currie, Thurlow)

F: Dangerfield, Martin, Gray, Pavlich, Buddy, Taylor (Impey, Cameron)

With 12 trades and around $180,000

Give us your thoughts?? :)

Are you able to go Georgiou to a prem defender rather than Tyson. (maybe Bartel)  Tyson still has a fair bit of cash to make given recent form but your decision.
Not sol at all on Hanley this year appears underdone and possibly struggling through the back issue,  His run and carry not as good as previous years which is costing SC points,

I could but that would mean missing Selwood and I have to many bye players in the midfield.
Didn't want to have to get rid of Tyson but looks like I'll have to.

Yeah I was only looking at Hanley based in his super low price but may give him a miss.

quinny88

Finished the bye rounds with a score of 1,782 and a rank of 2,103.
Could have been much better if I didnt have the C on Gaz  >:(

Where do I go from here?

D: McVeigh, Burgoyne, Simpson, Swallow, Suckling, Langdon (Langford, Georgiou)

M: Ablett, Pendles, Rocky, Selwood, Beams, Watson, Polec, Hallahan (Hartung, Acres)

R: Sandilands, Goldstein (Currie, Thurlow)

F: Dangerfield, Gray, Pavlich, Martin, Buddy, Taylor (Impey, Cameron)

14 trades and $361,200

Considering Suckling a keeper for now so need 1 upgrade in defence, 2 upgrades in the midfield and 1 in the forward line.

The players in red are either fattened cows or dead weight players.

Any suggestions?

Mat0369

Polec out is the obovious one, you could downgrade him to Shenton this week for cash, upgrade Langdon and then next week shift Taylor into the mids and upgrade him. The downgrade should hopefully give you enough cash to upgrade your final two mids in a couple of weeks.

Ringo

Agree with Matt - Polec and Langdon appear to have reached ceilings, So they would be the 2 I would look at this week depending on where you want to upgrade to finish team. :eave it to you to decide,
