Fielding doesn't add a whole much to Tech though just so you know ;).

Any idea of the % that applies to technique in regards to fielding training?

Alex7089

All I know is it takes 4 straight seasons of fielding to get 1 tech pop with no sub ratings.

Junior will have spec fielding + safe hands :P

If I can remember, for an 18 y.o in a good academy, they got 250 points for Fielding each week and only 10 for Tech (not sure on endurance). Was a while back in the Aussie U19 association forum. But I generalise this to mean not a big gain from Tech for Fielding (without the specific numbers for seniors).

Usually 10 weeks give or take for a Primary/Tech pop as well for a player in similar conditions :). Can't remember much but hope that helps.

Wow that's ages! I thought it would be quicker than that! Guess I got lucky last week then when Suri popped in fielding and tech at the same time, especially since it took his tech up to spec!

Bazinga

Ohnoes  :o  I've had guys on fielding training to help build up their technique. I had no idea that it trained that low  :-[

Looks like I have to rethink my plans  :'(

Alex7089

Remember unless you waited for a tech pop and then as soon as you got it put it on fielding it won't be as long :)
Otherwise it would take 14 weeks for a primary pop :o

So what is the best way to train endurance?

Justin Bieber

Yeah, I felt the same way when I found out! It's not a whole lot but better than nothing. Having spare ratings in Tech does help but we can't calculate that unless you start from the last pop ;).

That's why I get fielding out of the way early before I go after Primaries. Also means less wages for another season but can still help the scores.

I tend to train Primary and then Tech. Some cases if Primary popped a while back and Tech just not, I'll continue Tech so Primary will pop eventually but not at a faster rate. If I can remember for an 18 y.o in a good academy, it was 100 Tech and 70 Primary for Tech training.
