And finally (since I've been overseas for 10 days), the current ladder: Carolina with a huge (well, 2%) percentage booster lifts them into second, although they could very well drop to fourth if the final round goes against them. Anaheim pretty much secure a finals spot, while Santiago and Houston are separated by just 0.69%. Ottawa and NBH are still finals chances, albeit extremely tiny.

I wouldn't be too fearful, you've scored 87 (lucky number ik) points more than them this year (1300 SC points, at an average of 5.8/87 per week) - but both of you are super inconsistent and I wouldn't be surprised with a 20-point win to either team.

Yep.
Sexton replaces Jansen (late withdrawal) in U1
I'm up to date on all the scores atm, should have them up not too long after the last game
I'll only update the games with finals implications as don't have much time (sorry, other teams)
Houston 1238/14 with Rance, B. Ellis, Riewoldt, Puopolo, and sub (currently 47->77)
Santiago: 1706/17 with Hartlett and sub (currently 41->56)
Surely Santiago have wrapped up their finals spot now?
Carolina 864/9 with Ward, Shiel, Josh Kelly, S. Edwards, Mumford, Martin (vc), C. Rioli, S. Johnson, Schulz, and sub (McKernan 40, currently not needed)
Chicago 1422/15 with J. Gibson, Burgoyne, Lobb, and sub (currently 41->120)
Carolina still have a ton of players to play, and assuming they all play to standard they'll get home and take second spot. A bad performance and/or an injury here and there could change everything though...
San Francisco 1292/12 with H. Shaw, Williams, Pittard, Coniglio, Wines, Miles, and sub (currently 42->85)
Boston 1524/16 with Cotchin, Gray, and sub (currently 46->95)
This one should be very close between (arguably) AXVIII SC's most prolific rivalry. Stef and Stevo certainly doing the bulk of the San Fran damage so far!
Houston Bombers 15.13.103 lost to Santiago Cockerels 18.12.120
(Real: 1546 vs 1794)
And the 8-8 record and final spot in the finals goes to...Santiago! Although they really would like to improve their consistency as we head into finals, with a real boom or bust season. Speaking of inconsistency, the Bombers bow out of a similarly-inconsistent season, where they were just as likely to score 100 as they were 125. The foundations of a good side are definitely there, and sound shrewd trading and drafting could get them to finals in 2017 - and beyond. Co-Captains Gawn and Zorko lead from the front, with many other good scores - including the Gold Coast young trio of May, Miller, and Sexton, while Walters was decent for the Bombers.
Best
Houston: Walters, Adams, Rance
Santiago: Gawn, Shuey, May, Macrae, Zorko, Miller, SEXton
Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.14.116 defeated Colorado Avalanche 17.15.117
(Real: 1736 vs 1748)
Big upset here as the underdog Colorado gets up over the already-finals bound Anaheim by the smallest of margins! Anaheim looked in control until the end of the match, where Scully, Gray, and Ebert (119, 105, 104) got hot to get them just over the line. This will drop Anaheim down to sixth, with Santiago jumping them too - so relatively big implications. As I've said, Dangerfield is the 100% lifeblood of Anaheim - and his 111 just wasn't enough to get the win.
Best
Anaheim: Enright, Merrett, Dangerfield, Birchall, Smith, Boak
Colorado: Bartel, Scully, Curnow, Gray, Ebert, Mundy
Ottawa Otters 15.13.103 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 17.12.114
(Real: 1542 vs 1712)
A nightmare season for Ottawa comes to a close with another loss, their tenth of a season that promised quite a bit at times. The good news? Shrewd coaching - their highest score was their captain and their second-highest was their vice-captain. The bad news? Those were the only two players to hit 100. NBH were inconsistent through the season, capable of both magic and trash on the same day. They end the season on a high and will look for their young side to pilot them even higher in 2017 - lead by the Crouch brothers and Cripps "brothers" (non-related).
Best
Ottawa: Treloar, Hanley
New Brooklyn: Cripps, Gunston, Sidebottom, M. Crouch
Carolina Panthers 16.15.111 lost to Chicago Sharks 18.12.120
(Real: 1668 vs 1796)
So a week after scoring a goliath 140, the Panthers can only manage 111 as they go down in the battle of 2nd against 3rd to the Sharks, who have been a surprise packet all season and will finish second. As for the Panthers? Their fate rests on the Grizzlies-Terriers game. Their downfall today was certainly being plagued by low scores - Schulz 21 and Redpath 28 lowlighting this, with Schulz being replaced by McKernan's 40 as the sub. This is a very talented side and it's a shame that a few bad apples prevent them from reaching higher levels! Co-captains Selwood and Parker lead from the front for Chicago, while sub Menzel (120 - triple Carolina's sub) was a highlight. The good news for Carolina? They'll be playing finals football!
Best
Carolina: Kennedy, Martin, Docherty, Bontempelli, Grundy, Mumford
Chicago: Selwood, Menzel, Gibson, S. Gibson, Parker, Burgoyne, Wells
Las Vegas Sinners 15.15.105 lost to Quito Quetzals 15.17.107
(Real: 1570 vs 1598)
Another close game, as the star power of Quito - Gibbs, Goddard, and Mitchell - get them over the line and come off the bottom of the ladder, while the Sinners secure the spot at the top of the draft order. Captain Rockliff was sensational for the Sinners, but with very minimal help.
Best
Las Vegas: Rockliff, Haynes
Quito: Goddard, Gibbs, Mitchell, Lynch, Simpson
San Francisco Grizzlies 18.12.120 Boston Terriers 18.10.118
(Real: 1797 vs 1777)
In another absolute epic between these two sides, the Grizzlies have gotten up over the Terriers - just - for the fifth game in a row - with margins of 1, 3, 2, 1, and 2! Martin and Steven (162x1.75 and 144) lead the way for the Grizzlies, while Priddis was a tackling machine in the middle for Boston. And, with an inside view, Peter Wright's Grizzlies debut possibly won the game - his 101 as the fourth forward definitely being a great help.
Best
San Francisco: Martin, Steven, Pittard, Viney, Hawkins, Wright
Boston: Priddis, Pendlebury, Rich, Neale, Gray, Riewoldt
Final Ladder
Boston Terriers 12 4 2010 1852 108.53
Chicago Sharks 12 4 1870 1790 104.47
San Francisco Grizzlies 11 5 1948 1846 105.53
Carolina Panthers 11 5 1888 1813 104.14
Santiago Cockerels 8 8 1899 1874 101.33
Anaheim Mighty Ducks 8 8 1839 1832 100.38

Houston Bombers 7 9 1795 1816 98.84

Quito Quetzals 5 11 1783 1879 94.89
Las Vegas Sinners 4 12 1654 1741 95.00
Meaning the first week of finals will be:
1st Elimination Final: Carolina Panthers vs Santiago Cockerels
2nd Elimination Final: San Francisco Grizzlies vs Anaheim Mighty Ducks
Qualifying Final: Boston Terriers vs Chicago Sharks

Finished where we deserved I think unfortunately. Big off-season ahead for the boys, trying to jump up into that next tier!
What a poor way to finish :(

If it's any consolation, at least now you get to play us in the elim - a team you've already beaten this season!

The team's actually very decent, could just use a couple more good guys to polish off your utilities, and some more consistency from guys like Roberton, Ellis, Hill, Stevens, Riewoldt, and Motlop!
