Toga

Think he's a good pick up but will be interesting to see how he is used. Not sure he'd be quick enough for a wing?

To quote the 2017 AFL Prospectus

QuoteMcKenzie's kicking might be the biggest myth in football as he has recorded a below average kick rating in five of his six seasons. Across his career he has a kick rating of -3.5% from 1032 registered kicks, ranked 160th of the 167 players to have 1000 kicks in this period. Even if he was a good user of the ball he wouldn't find it enough to justify his place in the team, rating poor for both contested and uncontested possessions. His disposal average has declined in each of his last four seasons.

I reckon he's a good pick up as a DFA but probably shouldn't be in Port's 2018 22 unless he can improve (and stay healthy). Has solid best-22 upside for sure.

This. Plus he's not the Cannon anymore, but I can see why Port picked him up as DFA nothing to lose

McKenzie is one of the laziest footballers I have ever seen, I don't think he'd have the required workrate to play on the wing but I also don't see how he fits into Port's back 6 who are stacked with rebounding defenders already.

HFF is probably his best bet with a license to launch whenever he's in range. He played some good footy when Hinkley was at the Suns so mabye he can get the best out of him.

Why would you wish Haynes on any AFL team has to be the biggest flog in Australian sport

The slowest midfielder I have ever seen, unfortunately the foot injury did it to him.

Quality person and leader, he might do some good for Ports youngins in the SANFL.
