Well I'm somewhat glad Chelsea got Hazard. Evens out the EPL a bit more rather than making it even more of a two horse race.

One big question down, now who will manage Liverpool?  ???
I don't care who the manager is, I just want to someone to spend some flowering money on good players.
Hahahaha, good point.
Wouldn't mind seeing Downing sold tbh  :P
Sign Adam Johnson in his place...
They also need to sign some African with some pace (No racism intended)...

When there are good young stars, or just awesome stars seeking a transfer; why is it Always the Spanish or English giants that go for them.

Where is the love for the Italian giants, or even Munich?!?

Cicjose

The bundesliga has very strict rules when it comes to transfers

50 +1 rule

The so-called 50 +1 rule (sometimes called 50 +1 scheme) is a provision in the statutes of the German Football League . Under this rule, it is investors not possible, the majority of votes in corporations to take over the football clubs in outsource their professional teams sometimes.

To protect competition in the professional departments of the German football leagues  presented the DFB said in his Statute § 16c paragraph 2, that a club can only get a license if "50 percent plus at least one other voting share at the meeting of shareholders "the" mother club holds ".

This provision was literally included in the statutes of the DFL (§ 8 paragraph 2).
http://www.dfb.de/uploads/media/02_Satzung_01.pdf

The background to this scheme is that there should be prevented from taking over large companies or other investors complete control over the professional teams of clubs like this many times in England in the Premier League and the Football League is practiced.

This will boost sporting interests of the clubs before the economic interests of investors are protected. However, there are many competition concerns with the legislation in Germany, and Germany was the League Association of exceptions in the statute:

"On Exemptions from the requirement of a majority shareholding of the parent association only in cases where a commercial company for more than 20 years before 1.1.1999, the mother of the football club promoted continuously and significantly, decided by the Board of League Association."

(This is why Wolfsburg grew out of a multi-sports club for Volkswagen workers in the city of Wolfsburg and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group.

The DFB have a system of fines and points deductions for clubs who flout rules and those who go into the red can only buy a player after selling one for at least the same amount. In addition, no individual is allowed to own more than 49 percent of any Bundesliga club

forgive the ramblings but hopefully you will have a basic understanding of the financial fair play agreement which is in the process of being implemented by FIFA which is getting its inspiration from the Bundesliga's financial model

the problem I see with this is: Bayern will always dominate, not win every year but almost! look at England!! three different winners three years, how if that not good for the game??

the big investors into City and Chelsea recently have made the game so mush more for the better IOM, much much better at that.

I don't want to watch Barca v Madrid v United v Milan v Bayern etc... every year, how BORING IS THATwhat if we had Essendon v Collingwood every year!! people would stop watching.

bring in the billionairs and keep the game interesting, instead of Hazard going to a predictable United giant, it was a war of three clubs!! I don't want predictable results. This has to be good for the game         Thankyou 8)

Cicjose

who said Bayern dominate all the time?

yeah okay they qualify for Europe all the time

Dortmund have won back to back titles and the first Bundesliga team to do so since Bayern in 99/00 - 00/01?

elephants

My Facebook tells me Chelsea have also captured Hulk on a 5 year deal!!

Apparently he's looking at 145k a week with a fee around 37 million!

Happy Days!

elephants

No we just need Demba Ba for under 10 mill, a CM and a RB and we're all good!!

CrowsFan

Newcastle wouldn't sell Ba for under 10 mil
