Finishing up: Fantasy teams with Simpson can get one good game for stats out of him, and then will need to trade him out, or sit him on the fantasy bench for the rest of the season, as he is retiring.

That will open a spot for a young player on the North Melbourne list to get some games, and should keep L Anthony in the middle with a lot of stats.

It is also a good example of what is sometimes called "the 30 year old rule" here, that it isn't a good idea to have some of the oldest AFL players on fantasy teams as they can retire or can take longer to recover from injuries.

Yeah and I havent heard anything about this since I saw it on the footy show but Joel Bowden isnt getting another contract and will have a farewell game most likely in round 22 according to the interview they had with Rawlings its a shame really he was a good player as was Adam Simpson.
