Rumours the Gov deal is done, potentially involving Sydney.

Ade give: McGovern, 2019 3rd
Ade get: Pick 13, Blues' 2019 5th, McAdam

Carl give: Pick 26, Pick 28, 2019 5th, McAdam
Carl get: McGovern, Crows' 2019 3rd

Sydney give: Pick 13
Sydney get: Pick 26, Pick 28

Sydney obviously only do this for more academy points since the two 2nds equal more than 13 using the scale, Sydney trade could be done separately as well. I'll be upset if we get the 26 and 28 on their own though, fingers crossed the Sydney involvement is true.

Think its too early for Sydney to be making this deal. If it was the last day or so then, yes, but way too much to play out IMO

From reading the tea leaves, we are trying to move UP, closer to 5 so we get an early pick and then use the rest on Blakely
Fair enough, guess we shall see what happens

Tyson for Preuss could be on the cards

Makes more sense. I'd have thought Tyson would HATE going to another basket case, and rumours were saying he was indeed against that. So makes more sense for him; opportunity at a competitive club.

Mind you, is he a walk up at North?

Happy Happy Bombers fan,   Shiel will fill the gap in our Mids.   Cannot believe we have landed this bloke.   What do we have to give to get it over the line.

Pick 9 and either this year's 2nd that you actually received from GWS last year or next year's 2nd should do it

HS reporting that WCE could give Sydney 20+22 for 13 to then use to get Kelly, and that would appear to be better for Sydney than this suggestion ;)

SYDNEY has emerged as the circuit breaker in a deal to send Adelaide forward Mitch McGovern to Carlton, with the trade set to be finalised with the AFL on Wednesday.

AFL.com.au understands Carlton and Adelaide reached a breakthrough in talks over McGovern on Tuesday night, with the official paperwork set to be lodged imminently.

As part of the deal, the Blues will send picks No.26 and 28 to the Swans in exchange for pick 13.

That earlier draft selection will then be sent to the Crows in exchange for McGovern, along with the rights to mature-aged SANFL prospect Shane McAdam.

Future picks could also be traded between the three parties in order to ensure the deal gets over the line.

His inside game is pretty strong, could go well dishing it out to Higgins/Ahern/Hall

PORT Adelaide wingman Jared Polec will be joined at North Melbourne next year by defender teammate Jasper Pittard.

The Roos will part with pick 11 in this year's draft for the pair, getting pick 48 in return.

The Power will also receive North's 2019 fourth-round selection.

Apparently there was an article on the Lions website saying that we've traded 24, 58 and 79 to GC for 32, 41, 44 and 77, but has since been taken down. Didn't see the article myself, can anyone here confirm?

If true would probably be a likely deal to take place tomorrow to help facilitate the Adams/Neale trades.

Boom.
