Plus, any decent YP's for the time being will be sold as my YA does come up to scratch from the beginning of their career...

Let me know if you get any decent YP's (I am assuming Bermudan)

BOOM BOOM BOOM 20yo, capable exp and 5K spare ratings. BOOM.
Feel sorry for him Nails. He'll end up being a waste in your affiliate side as your academy is not good enough for him...

You said you wouldn't buy him if your academy was under excellent. My academy is satisfactory, 3% training per level, therefore he's only losing 6% potential points per week for 8 weeks after which I plan on taking my SA to lux...

So how is 6% for a few (10 or so) weeks going to kill him? He currently gains ~200 points per week on all rounder... therefore he's missing out on 12 rating points per week, therefore over 10 weeks he's going to miss out on 120 rating points... Not really going to kill him.
Fair enough, I just wouldn't have bought him until my SA was at that level first.

I'm doing the Youth route with my affiliate team, and until my YA reaches at least Superior, by EOS 16, I won't be buying any decent Youth players. I've got 20 youth players ATM gaining experience and skills, which I will start to sell when I reach that point, then with that money, hopefully > $1 mill, I can start to buy some decent 16yo's.

Plus, any decent YP's for the time being will be sold as my YA does come up to scratch from the beginning of their career...
And people had a go at me when i said i wanted to get my academies up before getting good players to train them in ::) I just can't win on this forum. :(

Yep ;)

I can honestly say I will not be doing a single thing in my affiliate side until Christmas/New years time. I should have 3.5m without any YP sales by then and my fan base will be getting up a bit too. Will make it easier when I'm ready to start financing my team.

Pretty good plan IMO ;)

Not going to get myself caught up in the cycle of being unable to have financial freedom. Need to be able to finance academies on the way up through the Australian ranks. Since I am actually staying here for the long haul, I will need the cash.
