After Round 12

Berlin drop down to 4th  :( Pacific shoot back up to 5th, whilst 9th placed New York build a 2 game lead over 10th placed Tokyo. I think we can now say there is only 9 teams now fighting for 8 spots.

This is the ladder that just never changes. Although, I find Port Morseby's position quite amusing... look at how many points they've scored compared to those around them! WTF!

Our last 3 games are brutal so we'll likely finish 9th this year, much better than what most would have predicted

Our list is younger, and you know we'll be productive in the off season, and back in the finals next year

For now though, we cheer the Rebellion to win a flag!  8)

@Purple77, has a team ever gone through the entire H&A season on top of the ladder AND hasn't dipped below 140 WXV points in the process? I'm probably going to put the mockers on us now but with 5 rounds to go, we might be the first.

meow meow

Pacific, Beijing and Toronto in our next 3. Yikes! NDT in the final round too. Might scrape into the 8.

Nige

Bottom 6 battle is fascinating.

No team has ever gone through the whole season without dipping below 140 (I think... certainly not from 2015 onwards).

No team has ever gone through the whole season number 1 on the ladder either... I'm pretty sure.

I refer back to Dublin in 2015, as I think that's probably the greatest ever WXV team (in a H&A season at least).

Dublin in 2015 went 140+ for 16 out 17 rounds, and was number 1 from Round 3, all the way until they lost the grand final.

I don't think we'll ever see a better H&A season than Dublin in 2015. 16-1, with an average of 163ppg.

After Round 13

Pacific take Berlin's spot in the 4, New Delhi creep up to 6th, New York now a game behind 8th, but maintain a 2 game advantage over 10th despite losing, whilst Rio slip to 15th after the previous week's 13th-16th placed sides all got a win!

Seniors 1st and Reserves 8th in scoring.   The season is going along quite nicely, decent depth can be called on if needed.

10th spot definitely the goal for us from here. We’re clearly not at the level (with the personnel available!) of the top half of the comp but I think it’s fair to say we’re the best of the rest.

10th would suggest second best, which would be right ;)

Top 8 is a dated enterprise. Bring in the Top 9.  ;)

8 its good, i like it that you have to be better then average to make finals.

i dont like it that in the NBA they have 16 playoff spots but 30 teams it means you can be below average and still make finals.

What are you on about?

He said he wanted to finish 10th but then also said they are best of the second half. Half would be 9 teams, and I said 10th would be right because that would in fact not make them the best of the half as we are 9th and best of that half
