Just confriming from Lions website that Rocky will miss up to 6

A little concern with this part of article though and possibly due to the punctured lung

"The ribs will take a month to heal and we'll have to assess from there. The issue might revolve more around flying and just when he's able to do that."

Wow,  going to be bloody sore as well.   Tough on everyone who spent the big bucks.   At least they get him out early.   Basically a direct swap for next highest super prem not in the team.  Will make him a great pick up around the byes assuming he comes back a bit slower and drops to 100-110 average.

The one mid along with Sloane that I had locked in forever :(
At least got the one good captain score from him and can easily replace him

GOLD Coast midfielder Jaeger O'Meara is expected to miss the rest of the season after rupturing his patella tendon on Saturday.

O'Meara dislocated his knee playing for the Suns' reserves in a practice match against the Brisbane Lions and scans confirmed the bad news.

It was O'Meara's first match back after undergoing patella surgery on both knees in London during the off-season.

Suns coach Rodney Eade said on Channel Seven on Sunday, "We've spoken to the surgeon in London and our doctor has spoken to the doctors in Brisbane; it just seems like a freak accident.

"He went to soccer the ball and a guy came across his knee front on and hit him and hyperextended his knee, so actually snapped the tendon that way.

"He'd be out for the season, I would think.

"We haven’t been notified yet (if surgery's required) but if he's ruptured the tendon, he'll have to get that sewn back together.”

Last year O'Meara battled patella tendinitis in both knees but still managed to average almost 22 disposals a game for the Suns.

Sums up my reaction when I find out Sidebottom is injured: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw3LDjx__5w

That makes 2 of us. I was thinking in the last quarter I hadn't seen him on in a while then I saw him favouring the hand post match.
