Fixture!

3 weeks to go until finals...

Victoria v Sri Lanka
7th v 9th: Lose and Sri Lanka can kiss the season goodbye, while Victoria can hardly afford to lose either. Huge match

South Africa v France
5th v 3rd: South Africa have moved from 10th to 5th in 2 weeks and are in form, while France are looking good also! Maybe only room for one of these teams in top 4?

Mexico v India
2nd v 4th: Mexico haven't lost in a long, long time, and are probably the flag favourites. India had a disaster last week that could cost them dearly. Top 4 clash. Match of the round!

Peru v Ireland
6th v 8th: Huge 8 point match between these 2, loser will find it very hard to make it

Venezuela v United Kingdom
1st v 10th: Venezuela are on a 2 game losing streak and we are wondering if they have peaked too early. The UK are all but out of the competition, can they cause some damage?

After Adelaide/Richmond

Victoria 0/0 v Sri Lanka 0/0
*yawn*

South Africa 0/0 v France 0/0
*yawn*

Mexico 2/270 v India 0/0
BOOM Mexico City again out of the blocks quickly, but with Nic Nat out, can they keep it up?

Peru 0/0 v Ireland 3/294
Strong start from Ireland, Peru with work ahead of them

Venezuela 3/216 v United Kingdom 0/0
Venezuela are really hitting bad form at the wrong time of the year, can they scratch out a win after a slow start?

Sheesh, I suppose everyone's still talking about how the Irish took Josh P. Kennedy before Paddy Dangerfield right? ???  Not really sure myself  :P

Doesn't matter this week as the Texan is back with Brodie Smith and the Irish are set for glory 8)

It's all falling apart. Absolutely dominated all  season, and am now getting hammered. Maric has turned into a spud and the others are well below their usual. Looking very grim now

After Pies/Blues and Dogs/Power

Victoria 1/137 v Sri Lanka 0/0
Victoria starting strong

South Africa 0/0 v France 1/168
Swanny sets French hears on fire

Mexico 2/270 v India 0/0
BOOM Mexico City again out of the blocks quickly, but with Nic Nat out, can they keep it up?

Peru 3/208 v Ireland 3/294
SLOW start from Peru, with Ireland having the clear edge, miracles can still happen though.

Venezuela 3/216 v United Kingdom 2/234
Disaster for Venezuela, with the UK 16 points in front from one less player. Again, not over, but the UK tough to beat from here

After Sat Night

Victoria 2/253 v Sri Lanka 4/379
Sri Lanka missing Beams here - an awesome score on the cards with big centuries for 3 players, but O'Brien's score of 10 (who would've been Beams) really gives it advantage Victoria who have started strong

South Africa 2/188 v France 4/412
France looking strong here as South Africa have been subdued

Mexico 5/413 v India 0/0
Mexico only had 4 payers with both Nic Nat and Sinclair out, India yet to get on the board, but if the Indians are good enough, they'll break Mexico's epic streak

Peru 3/208 v Ireland 5/452
Peru needs 245 points from Armitage and Dempster - unlikely, but not impossible, as Ireland miss an opportunity to bury them

Venezuela 4/321 v United Kingdom 4/390
Venezuela needs Ward to outscore Heppell by 70 points for a win. Impossible? No. Probable? Also no.

Live Ladder

Wins   Draws   Losses   For   Against   Percentage   Points   Rank
Mexico   5   0   2   3261   2813   115.93%   20   1
France   5   0   2   3239   3085   104.99%   20   2

Ireland   4   0   3   3152   3013   104.61%   16   4

Sri Lanka   3   0   4   3076   3061   100.49%   12   5

With just Saints/Dockers to go...

Victoria 5/516 v Sri Lanka 5/413
Victorians way too strong in the end, and perhaps Beams missing for Sri Lanka was the difference! Vics still in the hunt.

South Africa 5/425 v France 5/547
The French keep winning and are now winning impressively as the South Africans run of form ends.

Mexico 5/413 v India 2/254
You'd back India to upset Mexico from here

Peru 3/208 v Ireland 5/452
Peru needs 245 points from Armitage and Dempster - unlikely, but not impossible, as Ireland miss an opportunity to bury them

Venezuela 5/408 v United Kingdom 5/459
UK continue the pain for Venezuela

Live Ladder

Wins   Draws   Losses   For   Against   Percentage   Points   Rank
Mexico   5   0   2   3261   3066   106.36%   20   1
France   5   0   2   3374   3322   101.57%   20   2
Venezuela   4   0   3   3237   3062   105.72%   16   3
Ireland   4   0   3   3152   3013   104.61%   16   4

Victoria   4   0   3   3411   3359   101.55%   16   5
India   3   0   4   3142   3109   101.06%   12   6
South Africa   3   0   4   3310   3333   99.31%   12   7
Peru   3   0   4   2934   3094   94.83%   12   8
Sri Lanka   2   0   5   3110   3324   93.56%   8   9
United Kingdom   2   0   5   3297   3546   92.98%   8   10

And finally...

Mexico 5/413 v India 5/528
India well and truly in the race, has the Mexican bubble burst?

Peru 5/390 v Ireland 5/452
Peru would be disappointed with that

Venezuela 5/408 v United Kingdom 5/459
UK continue the pain for Venezuela

Ladder with 2 rounds to go

Wins   Draws   Losses   For   Against   Percentage   Points   Rank
France   5   0   2   3374   3322   101.57%   20   1
India   4   0   3   3416   3109   109.87%   16   2
Venezuela   4   0   3   3237   3062   105.72%   16   3
Victoria   4   0   3   3411   3359   101.55%   16   4

Ireland   4   0   3   3152   3195   98.65%   16   5
Mexico   4   0   3   3261   3340   97.63%   16   6
Peru   3   0   4   3116   3094   100.71%   12   7
South Africa   3   0   4   3310   3333   99.31%   12   8
Sri Lanka   2   0   5   3110   3324   93.56%   8   9
United Kingdom   2   0   5   3297   3546   92.98%   8   10

And the French are on top! Venezuela's 3rd loss in a row sees them slump to 3rd.

But how close is this? 2nd to 6th separated only by percentage!

Peru and South Africa are still chances, but Sri Lanka and the UK look out of it

Sri Lanka only needing 113 from Beams. Knew throughout the year I couldn't cover injuries and suspensions. Got lucky with being able to cover Martin for 2 weeks. That is as far as my luck goes.
