Title: 2017 / 2018 Power players on the move.

PORT Adelaide's Jarman Impey could be on the move despite having a year to run on his contract.
The dashing defender, who is signed until the end of 2018 after agreeing to a long-term extension in 2015, has been a regular member of Port's line-up in his four years at the club.
However, AFL.com.au believes the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn are among the clubs interested in luring the Victorian back home.

Port is also expected to lose Jackson Trengove as a free agent, with the defender/utility set to join the Western Bulldogs.

Port could be set for a busy exchange period, with Ken Hinkley's men linked to Brisbane Lions free agent Tom Rockliff. The Power also met with Melbourne forward Jack Watts last week, with the former No.1 pick appearing set to depart the Demons, and they have been linked to Geelong midfielder Steven Motlop too.

If you only got one, what player would Port want of those available?

Rocky, followed by Watts.

Not keen on Motlop. Read that Scott would like him to stay @ Cattery.

Watts, Motlop, Rocky for me. We don't need Rocky unless a midfielder (Wines, Boak, Ebert) are leaving. Heaven forbid we actually lose any of them though.

Watts would be a great 2nd key forward and will still leave us a tall target for when Dixon goes into the ruck.

I think you need Rocky as three gun midfielders that can't play forward is not enough. At least Rocky can do both, similar to Martin

Rocky going down forward swapping with Gray to go into mid.

Watts / Dixon combo does add another option as both can help with ruck duties.

Sounds like Ah Chee is likely to head to a Vic club. Not too likely to head home or join his brother.

Watts, Grey and Wines all pretty underwhelming in the forst JLT match. Hard to justify the Rd 10 bye pick for them. Even Ryder a bit off the pace.

You said it yourself - first JLT match. Not a single best 22 player out there should give a toss about JLT, especially when its out west in Perth in about 80% humidity

Rockliff?

Read somewhere has an injury / niggle. http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/2018-04-15/hinkley-we-havent-got-a-ruck-ready-to-play

Midfielder Tom Rockliff could be a casualty of Sunday's loss with the out-of-form new recruit struggling with a calf injury he picked up in the first quarter.

Rockliff had just eight touches for the game, which he started opposed to Zach Merrett (who finished with 29), and played out the game hampered by his strapped left leg.

"He did a manful job to be able to almost hobble around out there as best he could," Hinkley said.

"He hasn't been in his best form, but last week I felt like he was building a bit better and this week he's had an incident that's slowed him down a little bit.
