I could only see 21 when I checked yesterday, and it still hasn't changed. Confident I can get over the line regardless.

Well I'm done. I lost by about 20 points this week with a ton of under performers. Smith, Stef, Robbo, Kerridge, McVeigh, Parker, Mitchell, Byrne-Jones and Steven were all way under their usual input.

Got up by 30 in the end, miracles do happen. Feeling very fortunate to get away with it this week. Thought I was goooooooone.

Luck is critical in eliminator mate, glad you got through in a week of carnage.
Last few years iv'e gone final 16, out early rounds, final 8 (team that beat me won it), out midway, so on current form i'm a cert for final 4 haha (wishful thinking) but the point to the story is I have also had alot of good fortune/luck to achieve those finishes.
Eliminator is bloody hard to win the prizes don't reflect how hard it is to win, without a bit of luck you're no chance.
Yep luck required my score was a lousy 1855 and like Gigantor opponent had a couple of donuts.
Believe it or not this is the first time iI have made it to 3rd round. Even the year I finished 8th overall was knocked out by eventual winner in Rd 2. So as Grazz says some luck needed as well.

Luck is huge isn't it mate, one shouldn't ever under estimate it particularly in Eliminator because we build our sides for overall rank or finals or both, so all to often you find yourself risking a loss in Eliminator by holding trades for a shot at the bigger picture.

Ok, so I've had two crazy weeks. Last week I was done and dusted and ended up winning by 5 points. This week I had a Goldy donut, a 10 and what ever Montagna got and I managed to win by 6 points.

You certainly need luck. You're gonna lose the odd league game, but you can always bounce back from that. There's no next week in the Eliminator. That said, I don't care if I win by 5 points or 200 points, as long as I make it to next week!

The Laird out might favour me though as I think that will turn it into Castagna v Collins instead of just Laird cancelling out. He also brought in Hanners for GAJ where I think I might go Bont. The biggest factor is he has Danger captain and I don't even have him, so that could hurt.

Thanks Grazz, big game this week playing a team called coffee black which I'm sure finished 2nd overall last year, had a bit of luck already with s Martin still being out, he also has Seb Ross and one of kerridge or Petracca on field before trades which I'm expecting him to use, im predicted to get a massive 2457
