Title: Brett Burton
Post by: Andrew3737 on March 10, 2010, 09:06:36 AM
Is he ready to go or what. Heard he has put in a very good pre season and is very cheap at 220. I might look at him if indeed the news is true.

Had a very good pre season???

The guy had a knee op to clean out and fix some swelling issues. He wont play round 1 and dont get sucked into the pre season talk with Burton as he is regarded as one of the fittest at the club and has been for the last 5 years...

Having said all that I believe he is fantastic value but not sure when he will be playing so too big a punt IMO

I think he is pushing for round 1. The injury was supposed to be 4 - 6 weeks so if recovery is good should be good for round 2.

love the birdman.

Just can't force myself to put him in. You know what they say about taking injury into a season
