322/3 so far. I'll take that!

Can someone explain how the next round works? Does me going through undefeated put me in a better position than if I lose this week?

Nige

QuoteRounds 6 to 9 - Continent Stage

The Top 4 from each group moves to the continent stage, with the bottom 2 eliminated (better luck next year!). Each team's results against the other top 4 teams carry forward into this stage.

For example, Chile won the South American Group with 4 wins and 1 loss, BUT two of those wins came against the bottom 2 teams (who were eliminated), meaning they go into the continents stage with 2 wins and 1 loss. Meanwhile New York qualified from the North American group with 3 wins and 2 losses, but the 2 losses came against the bottom 2 teams that were eliminated. Meaning they qualify for the continents stage undefeated with 3 wins and 0 losses.

Top 4 from Australia and Top 4 from Africa = Australia/African Continent
Top 4 from North America and Top 4 from South America = American Continent
Top 4 from North East Europe and Top 4 from South West Europe = Europe Continent
Top 4 from Asia-Pacific and Top 4 from South Asia = Asia Continent

LaHug

Well that makes winning this week hugely important because South Africa is second in my league.

Nigeria looking to make it also!

Why is the Week 5 thread locked?

Vinny didn't post his team in time, and Nige said it's his first 6 drafted

His first 2 were D.Swallow and Malceski lol so I guess he has donuts?

I said in the OP I was locking it.

It's just so that people don't post in there instead of here or try to submit their team late.

If his 6th player drafted isn't playing, unfortunately so.

We can look at revising the system for next time.

RaisyDaisy

His first 6

1. David Swallow
2. Nick Malceski
3. Jarrod Harbrow
4. Michael Rischatelli
5. Jeff Garlett
6. Angus Brayshaw

No Swallow and Malceski

So just the 4?

Nige

Unfortunately, yep.

I figured that would be the best way to approach unnamed teams (before Round 1 and wanted to remain consistent rather than changing it).
