Griff would have been back this week if he didn't reinjure himself during his rehab. Who knows how far off Wells is. Sandi gone for the season and Waite will miss this week at the absolute least.

#excuses

Pretty sure Waite has bee ruled out for 4 weeks

Do we have 15 fit players?

We REFUSE to DIE!

100.6 average to 6 games at 70.6 is an atrocious return from the man who is meant to be our M2.

Combine that with Griffen 93.9 to 3 games at 59 and that should have been enough to put our season down.

Add in McVeigh who has averaged 94-106 for 8 darn years giving us 2 matches at 64.5 prior to last week and we should be bottom 4.

Silvagni rose from the dead and for a fleeting moment there was some hope with his solid scores of 79, 82, 87, 73, 88 before fate cruelly cut him down. Deflating.

The ever reliable Bob Murphy has been cut down twice in this season from hell.

Maybe the retiring Dempster was the smartest since he departed before the season began, he was meant to be D4/5.

Take out your ruckman and see what it does to your team. Sandi out for extended periods of time should have sent us to the bottom of the ladder.

Jarrad Waite, the man who top scored in all of WXV one week has been absent for too long already, and it's set to continue. Final nail in the coffin?

Masten was okay to start the season with an 80.8 average but has turned to shower and should be delisted by the Eagles. Things got too hard for him and he simply gave up. The rest of our team probably should have done the same by now but we've got the most inspirational group.

M2 (Wells), M4 (Griff), U2 (Masten), D2 (Bob), F1 (Waite), R1 (Sandi) all missing this week but we're not throwing in the towel. McVeigh will finally make his return and hopefully it's the champion version and that he can keep our WXV struggle alive.

The two Saint Nathans should be upgraded to Gods after the way they have carried the team. And Sean Darcy might actually be Jesus.
