THE RULES
- You have 24 hours to pick. If you are online during your 24 hour period, you have 2 hours to pick from the list.
- If you miss your pick, you get auto-picked the highest draft pick (if all taken, the next player going down the list from the beginning of "players not selected last year). If you get auto-picked, you only have 12 hours to make next pick. If that is auto-picked, all your picks from then on will be autopicked and you need to explain why you missed.
- You can choose to autopick. Let me know in advance
- The number of 'passes' you do is equal to the number of picks you have in the preseason draft. You may also get a pick in the preseason draft if AFTER the draft you choose to rookie list any of your players.
- Enjoy!
Hi guys, just should remind everyone that the 33,000 salary cap is still in force. For most, this won't matter.

Most players to be drafted have a score of 0, so you don't need to worry about those. Players that do have points are:
Mark Austin 506
Nathan Brown 490
Thomas Jonas 320
Mark Whiley 74
Aiden Riley 69
Marcus Davies 65
Sam Schulz 35
Cameron Hitchcock 25
Bradley Helbig 16
Lincoln McCarthy 12
You can still pick these players, you just can't go over 33,000 points. If they go over, your pick will not count and you will have to pick again. For most, not an issue.
Points...
- Might notice that some of your picks higher than you originally had. This is because after the List lodgement some teams did not have enough space for all there picks, so other picks moved up.
- Why is there a Round 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10? Others delisted more players than they had picks, so extra rounds are needed (like the AFL). This was always going to happen, just restricted trading to the first 5 rounds as otherwise it gets messy.

Plus everybody selected in the National Draft and any delistings from the WXV Clubs
Can Barry play in 2013? Is this a list of delistings, players from last years Nat draft who weren't picked up, 17yo guns(2) & F/S players?
Yes Barry can play next year. The only 2 on that list that can't are Martin and Hogan.
Interesting that all these players are available in the national draft, thought they would all be in the preseason/rookie one. But I guess if they weren't then there would probably only be about 60 people to choose from in the national...
Updated to make it a bit clearer
Martin/Hogan can be selected in the National draft, like the other two were.
Plus all of these players would have been available if they weren't selected for one reason or another.
I can make an argument that last years left overs can only be available in the preseason though?
Clay Cameron has been picked up by the GC via Zone Selection.
understand it now. :)
Don't want to stir up trouble but shouldn't pre-listed players be in the PSD ala NSW scholarship holders? Perhaps I don't fully understand.

Nah suppost to be in Nat draft.
Last year players like Zorko or Saad weren't available to be picked in the national draft, they had to be picked in the world draft, so shouldn't it be the same this year with the players like Lee, Anderson etc? I would think they should be in the PSD/rookie draft, but that's just my opinion and happy to go either way ;)

I was thinking Rookie too. Happy to go with whatever you say though ossie. I have some trades relying on where Anderson and lee can get taken.
I thought they'd be in the NAT.

Speaking from British/Asians anyone on an afl list after the Nat draft is completed is available to be drafted.

Oh OK. Was assuming we'd be trying to mirror the AFL with this. So NSW scholarship holders will go in the ND as well?
Personally I'd rather all players not selected in the real preseason draft/rookie draft to be available in the draft. This seems unpopular though
Well os now that you are just the administrator and not a team coach you can make all the decisions yourself, without worrying about us ;)
Personally I don't mind either way to be honest. The more I think about it the more I am warming to your idea...
Just seems to remove a lot of value from the PSD is all. Seeing as we don't have rookie lists would it be better to just have 1 draft? :-/
Or we could introduce rookie lists...
Rookie picks will be more valuable than NDS picks if we add these players to the rookie.
Always saw the NDS as the most valuable.

Tom Lee, Dominic Barry, Jake Neade, Jed Anderson + Scholarship players - Find 10 better than the players available in second round ND.
Just for clarity I'm not suggesting that Hogan, Martin, Daniher, Viney, Hunter, Mark Austin, Josh Hall, Jason Johannisen, Lincoln McCarthy, Mark Blicavs, Darren Minchington, Michael Hartley or Sam Michael be taken in the PSD.
Fine, rookie picks 1-5 then :P

This is going off the BF phantom draft (it's a little old so not 100% accurate but gives you an idea) -
Jake Neade - #120
Tom Lee - #40
Dom Barry - #34
Jed Anderson - #20
Of course they were then zone drafted so they won't go to the ND and we'll never know but I'd hardly say they're better than pick 20/25+. :P
Add in Craig Moller

Craig Moller doesn't raise the value of the other 4.
Add in the GC Zone selections possibly.
Andrew Boston, Clay Cameron and Jordon Bourke maybe.
Rightio, sorry Sid going to make it all players not selected in the real preseason draft and the real rookie draft are available in the National draft.
whens the draft starting?
apparently nails is having net issues, so I'm selecting for him.
our first pick isn't until like 58 though :P

Wont be starting until after the rookie draft has occurred :)
Front page updated...
We have at minimum 81 players available - but there will be more when delistings are taken into account :/
If there are any other players out there you guys know of that weren't selected in the draft, but made there way onto an AFL list through the thousands and thousands of AFL rules, let me know.
Craig Moller (Fremantle)
Ben Richmond (Collingwood)
Ciaran Kilkenny (Hawthorn)
Gideon Simon (Richmond)
Have added the above players as being available in the draft. They are all NSW scholarship holders or strange types of rookies that won't be picked up in the AFL preseason or Rookie drafts.
Hard to find a comprehensive source....
Shouldn't they be available in the PSD/rookie draft? Caolan Mooney was one of these last year and I had to wait until the rookie draft to pick him.

My logic here is that if somebody wants to senior list these players, they are free too. You are right though, it probably isn't consistent with last year - but some of that can't be avoided.
Can we expect this to take place on the 12th or?

Depends on when everyone lists their squads with delistings
Still have half the teams left for list lodgements, but we are up to 108 players available in this draft....
If picking from the delisted Worlds players, please make sure they are actually still listed... Is possible I missed them!
Should be able to start this Monday yeah?

Waiting on 4 more list lodgements, so the list might change - but the draft order is now at the beginning of the thread.
Draft is open!! Go pothead :) Will be lenient on the 24 hour period over the Christmas break

Sorry c4, didn't see this last night!
I think, like Q suggests, won't bother with time limits until January 2nd. I will prod people, but its holiday time so we should enjoy all our family, camping, beaching, bbqs, etc :) So yeah, basically am suspending it but still encouraging people to pick
Yeah good idea
Curious to see who pothead will take with his first picks!!
I was about to say the candidates... but we shouldn't mention names of players not drafted in this thread!
I have picks 8 & 9 and have a shortlist of 10 at the moment so will be interesting to see who is left and some may slip to my pick 20
I haven't put any thought in to who I will be picking yet. No point with my first pick at 16...
I just wanna remind everyone that Jack Viney, Jimmy Toumpas and Jesse Hogan are useless players and are not worth a top 36 draft pick.
That is all.
Considering they play for Melbourne I would have to agree with you :P

Could it be that you have picks 37 and 40 influencing but as CF says they play for Melbourne and top draft picks have not got a good history at the Dees,
are the Reindeers PNL with pick 34? just curious
I know right! I mean, Melbourne suck, therefore THEY will suck too. You're simply overpaying with a top 36 draft pick.

Moscow's first pick isn't until Round 6 :/
Just a reminder Purple, no mentions of players who haven't been selected :)
The Wellington warriors would like to announce pick 1 of the National draft to be Lachie whitfield!
With the 2nd pick of the draft the Wellington warriors pick Jimmy toumpas!
And Purple cries in despair!
Toumpas as #2 could raise some eye brows, but was really in the mix. Whitfield is a shining star!
Beijing's first pick of many next.....
Toumpas had to go early. He's had 2 years of senior experience in the SANFL, which is obviously a far better competition than the TAC Cup, so should adjust to the pace of the AFL a lot quicker than them...
Wouldn't be the first team to take Jimmy with the No2 pick ;)
True CF, true.
Should point out that even if we are lenient with the 24 hour rule, if you are online when it is your pick and you don't pick within 2 hours, reckon it is fair for you to be skipped.
I'm really hoping my number 1 pick gets taken pick 3 or 4. If not I will massively regret getting the massively injury prone gray
Toumpas was clear number 2 IMO. Well played :)

You'd think he would get games at the Suns early... Happy for a Tasmanian to go #4 Internationally!
Dam my pick 1 is available at 5. Gray better come good.
However picks him expect an offer shortly after.
On a bright side I had a top 9 and lonergan wasn't in it so I will get at least one guy I like to pick fron

Yeah that's correct. Not sure if it will work but daisy got unexpected forward status and to play him in his new position I'm going to need more MIDs. Not sure if Ossie will allow it as I knew a few days before deadline of period 1, but it wasn't enough time to get a deal done.
Really interested to see how the top 10 will shape out. I'm really surprised one guy got passed up for top 4

If anyone is on chat can they tell Torp to come on (if Torps on)

Sorry guys for the delay. Pick 5 is decided just thinking about 6.
The Pacific Islanders after much discussion have finally decided upon there picks 5 and 6.
The Pacific Islanders would like to welcome to the club with pick 5....

Nice c4 you got the best player i n the draft at pick 6.
3 guys I really rate left I hope all 3 don't go right before my pick.

Jake Stringer
Stringer has a whole lot of talent and he is AFL ready.
very solid pick FS, should get plenty of game time and if he can fully recover from the injury he could be an absolute star in a few years.
Like everyone, suprised at Martin dropping and Lonergan going that early...
But anyway, bring on pick 27! :P
Really hope the bloke I want slips through...
Boomz could turn out as a genius! Although I doubt it :P
the suspens is killing me i have changed my mind on who to pick about 5 times. Its going to be a real sturggle unless ringo lets one guy slip through.
Well I have now created a list of 10 players I would love to draft. With only 8 picks before mine I am guaranteed one so I am very happy :)
Picks should be up shortly - Just waiting for assistant coaches to reply to suggestions due to Stringer being taken with last pick. Just got back in from a day visiting parents in Gympie.
I was hoping Whitfield was going to slip through to #82. flowered if I know what I am going to do now.
im going out for an hour, if the guy i want slips torp or jay will take him for me. If he gets tkane i will make my pick when i get home.
I'm back. Is there a 2 hour limit in place? I'm not saying skip Ringo I'm just making sure I'm not skipped down the track as I often keep ff on without being on the phone/ laptop

Yeah, I'm being lenient. I almost skipped FisherSaints this morning, but thought we could be patient for a bit.
Senior coaches should rule with iron fist, and co-coaches need to have planned though....
But Ringo is deliberately holding up the draft! I say strip him of his first and second round picks for the next 5 years. If Nails pulls this shower his penalty should be at least 50 years.

Needed to increase our forward power and they are they 2 standout picks. No secret that is what we were seeking in the draft given we only had 6 forwards after delistings etc,

Ossie I think the reason behind Daniher slipping is:
* Will take 2 years before he starts scoring well.
* Doesn't mind an injury.

First reason was why we skipped him and also you can never guarantee a KPP to score.
But if you are looking for replacements for Brown and Lynch you have to select with future in mind. So when brown hangs up the boots Daniher should be right to come straight in.
I would have taken Daniher at Pick 9 as well Ringo. :)

almost there, takes me 4 seconds to load each page. Blame ringo for taking both my picks :)
This was a really difficult choice I knew who was easily the best player avilable (and better than some who have already been picked)
I needed a mid and i needed a guy who would play this year.
So I did the only sane thing and picked a forward and the only guy left in the draft who cant play next year.
Watch out though he is a beast and he will turn it on in 2014

Kind of a difficult decision but going with
Jackson Macrae for positional reasons. 78.4% efficiency will suit the game and should fit right in at New York.

Ok decided on my pick :)
Wasn't the most prolific midfielder this year (only averaging 80 DT in the TAC Cup) due to some hamstring injuries. Been described as extremely classy and has elite use by foot and hand. Likens himself to Pendles, so if he can turn out anywhere near as good as him I'll be happy :)

Jonathan O'Rourke
you would usually think Draft Pick 2 wouldn't go at 16 lol, so based on that I think its a steal!
It amazes me that the #2 pick in the draft gets taken at #16!
Yeah very odd. Certainly not complaining :)
By the way I've messaged FS and Torp letting them know it's their pick. I think once someone takes a pick they should then PM the next person on the list letting them know it's their pick. Should run smoother then :)
All I did was suggest a list of players, I may or may not have suggested Kennedy ::)

Hi guys, just should remind everyone that the 33,000 salary cap is still in force. For most, this won't matter. I'll post this on the front page also....
Points:
18748 - Beijing Bears
24489 - Berlin Brewers
32133 - Buenos Aires Armadillos
30074 - Cairo Sands
28150 - Cape Town Cobras
21986 - Dublin Destroyers
27271 - London Royals
30522 - Mexico City Suns
26406 - Moscow Spetsnaz
23379 - New Delhi Tigers
24217 - New York Revolution
20389 - Pacific Islanders
28109 - PNL Reindeers
31572 - Sao Paulo Pumas
27328 - Seoul Magpies
29832 - Tokyo Samurai
28704 - Toronto Wolves
22885 - Wellington Warriors
Most players to be drafted have a score of 0, so you don't need to worry about those. Players that do have points are:
Sam Lonergan 885
Ashton Hams 824
Adam Selwood 778
Andrejs Everitt 532
Mark Austin 506
Nathan Brown 490
Jake King 471
Aaron Davey 422
Thomas Jonas 320
Joel Wilkinson 272
Sam Reid 272
Jesse White 187
Jamie Bennell 175
Bradd Dalziell 79
Mark Whiley 74
Jason Johannisen 72
Aiden Riley 69
Marcus Davies 65
Setanta O'hAilpin 59
Josh Hall 53
Sam Schulz 35
Cameron Hitchcock 25
Gerald Ugle 23
Bradley Helbig 16
Kurt Aylett 14
Lincoln McCarthy 12
You can still pick these players, you just can't go over 33,000 points. If they go over, your pick will not count and you will have to pick again.
For most, not an issue.

Why not? Doesn't affect anyone if no one else has picked yet. I doubt many people saw the pick too...
Nice pick with Hrovat though :) Although don't know how the Doggies are going to fit all their young midfielders in to the side. They have Wallis, Libba, Smith, Macrae, Hrovat, Stringer, Pearce among others...
I really hope someone takes ***** if he slips to me i will be forced to take him, but i need mids. :)
I know who he picked. And I'm annoyed because once you pick in AFL, you can't change :P
I would have had Vlastuin so I'm pissed.
Great pick Maca. PM me who you want next, I think I have an idea ;)

Oakleigh defeated Gippsland in the TAC grand final and Macrae was best on!
Macrae = best player in the world! If evading tackles scored points he would average 300ppg.
Power have won more premierships. Also they lost by 1pt. Sweet FA :p
I won't be on until 10pm tonight so if it's my pick I'll pick then.
Can't wait for my first Pick, 37
Have known for quite some time who that will be :o will be really surprised if he is picked up earlier

Would have liked to have assistant coaches provide input seeing Macrae and O'Rourke were taken but as they are not available we will select:
Dean Towers
Macca says he has left picks with Meow and Jayman
Then bomberboys pick
Maca picks TIM MEMBREY
Bejing/bb are up!
Hope I do not regret decision - Tossed a coin between Towers and Membrey Went for Towers because of mature age and possibly ready to play.

If you're having school problems I feel bad for you soon.
He is a Top 15 pick. There's no doubt about that.
It's silly, if he was 3cm taller he would have been Top 15 easy ::)
With the twenty second pick we take Tim Broomhead.

Would have loved to have him (in fact before the real draft I had been planning to pick him up as I assumed he would go around pick 20), but I couldn't turn down the number 2 from the draft!
Hrovat and Membrey. I'm happy :D
Would have liked Vlastuin but that can't be helped!
Stringer and Tigger, Very happy. :)

Well this was a tough choice, the guy I rate has stuck around but i really shouldnt take him (and for once i wont) . Im in trade negotiations after some unexpected DPP changes with that I will be taking a player in a postion i think I will need.
Taking abit of a gamble here, I know the can kid can play but will he score? we will fidn out soon.
I take the number 3 pick in the draft.

Im quite liking my defence bench now Docherty, Plowman,Schoenemakers, Bootsma, Frost. Got alot of potential there just need 1 or 2 of them to fire.
The Wellington warriors select taylor Garner with the 25th pick

nice pick Pot, cant believe i passed up on a roo, just not sure if he will play next year. Could be good down the track though
Can't believe Holz hasn't picked this guy...So I will. Positional changes treated us poorly and we need some forwards so we'll take
Tom Lee.

Everyone seems to be confused. Plowman isn't a key defender, he is a tall half back in the Andrew Mackie mould. I don't know why everyone assumes he will be a terrible scorer.

thats what i was reading i heard he woudl be a 3rd tall, maning up on his opponent but also playing off them abit and intercepting marks.
I agree Plowman isn't even that KPP. Everyones got the wrong idea.
I was strongly considering him with 18 even.
Sid, that's crazy that you got Tom Lee that late! Absolute freak and I chose between him and Membrey for 21.
Plowman is KPP but runs through the midfield and kicks goals. An agile KPP. I really considered him at 17 but Vlastuin scores better.
Went to bed last night thinking I'd pick up either Lee or Plowman... :(
Need a bit of mid depth so I'll take Lachie Hunter.
"needs a bit of mid-depth" he says!! LOL My Chumps!
Good pick...
Plugging through the positions of each player, noticed that 3 players were delisted by AFL clubs that I didn't notice (thankfully all the coaches who had them also delisted them, so doesn't impact draft).
Those 3 being Sam Martyn, James Craig and John Heslin...
I'm pretty happy with that as a result.

I predict the same Top four as 2012.
Buenos Aires, Cape Town and Sao Paulo are all still clearly ahead.
It's kinda like 4 levels I think.
The Premier (probably)
Mexico City
---------------
The Contenders
Sao Paulo
Buenos Aires
Cape Town
Moscow
---------------
Mid Table
Cairo
Tokyo
Seoul
Dublin
Toronto
Wellington
--------------
Young Teams/Celler Dwellers
New York
PNL
Berlin
London
New Delhi
Pacific
Beijing
Chumps you know what you need to do to push you into that top category :)
good list though looks pretty accurate.

My Plan was to use pick 10 24 30 on mids who would play next year. In the end i got a forward who wont play at all, a backman and at least now im picking a mid. Good luck getting games in the 2013 premiership team.

Wow I thought Pyro had his own team... :X
Sid and pyro are co-coaches
Nigel same rules will apply as it would MC :)
Marco Paparone please. Was a bit of a bolter in the real life draft but happy to pick him up with 32. Has the right attributes to develop into a Darling type role.
Spencer White for the Magpies
Was hoping for Anderson or Wright to slip to us now, but didn't happen :(. Now may take a little while for my pick as going to ask for KB's assistant with it! Sorry fellas but would be handy as he knows the draft class.
Damn CF, I wanted Wood :(
Seeing as I didn't have any picks until later on I thought there was no real need for research and I'd just take Garner/Wood as they were drafted to North :P Obviously I can still do that with some of our later drafted players (not to be named ;)) but Jacobs and Hine already on lists makes it tougher.

Needed forwards, and although this fella may have been my sixth choice and will probably be one of those small forwards who will average about 60 (for next year anyway), I really think he was the best available.
Welcome Matthew!
Hi guys, as of today ERIC WALLACE is available in the draft after just signing on with North today... I think in the same way as Gideon Simon - these rookies are rookies without actually being drafted as rookies :/ So if anybody knows of anyone else, let me know.

Hi guys, as of today ERIC WALLACE is available in the draft after just signing on with North today... I think in the same way as Gideon Simon - these rookies are rookies without actually being drafted as rookies :/ So if anybody knows of anyone else, let me know.
http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/american-basketballer-signs-on-with-north-melbourne-20121220-2bofj.html
I am fuzzy on these guys, can they play next year? Or do they have to be rookie drafted then NAB drafted or something?
Gideon Simon isn't anywhere on the SC site, so I'm guessing no they can't play next year.
They are signed as category B rookies and they can indeed play next year if they get upgraded, the same as category A rookies.

Interesting! Seems strange you can't get them on your SC team though!
Draft certainly slowed down today...
And that's 24 hours...
Basically Christmas time guys, I'm happy to be patient if you are
Happy to let the rule relax for the next 2 weeks ossie - Let everyone enjoy the break,.
Just so long as everyone PM's the next person so they know.
Hey guys,
Sorry to hold you guys up. I'll have my pick taken in the next 30 minutes.
Just got to work. :-\
c4
Not a worry c4!
Unless you take the player I want, then there will be a worry :P
Well this was a tough one.
There were three outstanding players to choose from, but only one could be chosen.
The Pacific Islanders with pick 38 select...
:o
Dean Terlich!
I was genuinely surprised nobody had taken Terlich until now and was hoping by some miracle he would slip to Cairo at 44. Oh well, we've got options.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Dean Terlich! Argh! Would have taken him at 37 if I hadn't needed a forward!
Good pick c4 :(
No surprise the Islanders needed a defender! I was considering him with my second pick, but I was much more in need of a forward than a back...
he was my planned pick 30, but plowman slipped and i needed a mid. really rate terlich and is in my DT/SC
I'm also in need of a forward and there's a plethora of tall forward options available around this range.
I've chosen this guy for a couple of reasons:
1) He'll take a while to develop but certainly has the talent and height (reckons he's still growing) and hopefully I won't need him for a couple of years.
2) I see him getting R/F DPP eventually.
3) At Port he has a better chance of breaking into the team than others who I considered that are at more successful clubs.
So with that, I draft
Mason Shaw
(http://mm.afl.com.au/Portals/0/port_docs/shaw-news.jpg)
Not small is he!
Sigh. Well, with Terlich gone, I want to select another forward.
Some may say Im taking a left-field selection according to the AFL draft, but the Berlin Brewers pick:

Rory Atkins!

I think it is really hard to judge who will be good, so haven't found any of the picks weird. Personal preference really!
Wellington picks
LIAM MCBEAN
and
JAKE NEADE
Tokyo picks
DYLAN VAN UNEN

EDIT: PM'd Ringo to let him knows he's up.
Cheers Nige
Hey Oss, on the front page there at pick 43 Saunders went to St Kilda not Geelong, and at 56 Currie was drafted to North Melbourne, not Sydney.
Just being pedantic here ;)
Fixed!
My shortlist just took a beating! :-\
London is going to give a delisted player a chance with a new club and hopefully get back to 2010 form.

I thought about selecting him! Not a bad choice IMO, good defense insurance, even if he doesn't score well

Hard to decide between 3 players...
I'll need another 20mins.
Jayman and myself have decided our team needs ruck depth.

Hope I made the right call!
Tanner Smith :).
Third round ended!
Fourth round begins :) Buenos Aires first pick!
The long awaited fourth round >:D
Probably slightly better players still available...
But I like this bloke and want to make sure I get him here too.
Sam Michael. Can never go wrong with a player with two first names.

Wellington gives DALE MORRIS another chance....
And now time for Berlin's triple....
The Tri-Fector!
The Brewers have chosen:

Clay Cameron

Kurt Aylett

Jake King
A couple of recycled players there that will hopefully turn out OK for the Brewers!
We pick James Stewart and Tim O'Brien :).
Wellington picks TIM SUMNER <-- phew, the last player on the list he gave to choose, and his last pick!
The Brewers add further depth to their glass.......
Sam Lonergan!
Andrejs Everitt!

Josh Hall thanks!
Hopefully if Zach Smith goes down he'll be the direct replacement... and has potential. Former high jump champion I believe and a super athlete.

Just letting you know, I will be away from the 28th until the 14th of January (at the latest). Torp will be running the team while I'm away
I'm also gonna be going away for a while but not entirely sure how long for, I'll still have internet reception on my phone but won't be constantly checking FF, I'm done for the International Draft but when's the PSD/rookie draft? If it's my pick and I'm still away, I have a number of you on facebook, you can just inbox me there saying to check FF and I'll get that straight away. :)

Difficult decision between positional needs and the better player...
Going with Nicholas Kommer.

Cairo will take:
Brad Hartman and Jason Johannisen

Max Duffy thanks :).
Good to see Jason Johannisen get a go!
We just need one good day to finish this draft! :)
Cheers New York for delisting this kid.
He's a jet. Patrick McCarthy.
His a first round pick if I'm not mistaken, so there is certainly talent there.
Yeah I think we had him in a XVs somewhere or I traded him into my WXV/EXV in like rd23 or something...
Was on like 25 at quarter time, went missing for the rest of the game which is understandable in your 1st game. But he was like Carlton's best fantasy player in the 1st quarter :o
Hope he just has lots of 1st quarter goodness next year lol
Second round pick maca at pick 34 in the '10 draft. Isn't hey a key back though? Don't know anything about him, but looking at his height isn't he a key back? They don't score all that well...

Has played forward as well if I am not mistaken. Has an extensive injury history though. Has some potential and might have picked him up again later on and rookie listed but not shattered to have lost him.
Mitchell Wilkins please :).
May not play for a while but Brant Colledge is quality. Hopefully his body holds up.
Matthew Dick please!

Cairo picks:
Ashton Hams
(http://www3.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Ashton+Hams+g0KM6xmEYM8m.jpg)

Wow lots of ex destroyers getting picked up. Whish them best of luck (not too much luck ;) )
I think I may have dropped a few guys the gws guys could come back to hurt me.
Four coaches have the last 12 picks of the draft! Meow passes his first and only pick, very predictable!
I've said this to all the other 14 coaches who have finished...
If you would like to rookie list a player (and only 1 player) from any of your current players in order to get a preseason draft pick (where you can choose from all remaining players, including rookies) let me know via PM
Richard (Dick) Newell I guess.
Mexico City pick AARON DAVEY
Round 7 to start!
Happy new year all
Cairo take:
Harrison Marsh
(http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/staticfile/AFL%20Tenant/SydneySwans/Club%20Promos/12Marsh_240a.jpg)
More or less one for the future I think. Second player taken by the Swans, he's said to be "a prodigious kick" and could be a great defender in time.
Gerald Ugle
8 picks left, Mexico City have 4 of them :) Buenos Aires and Cairo 2 each
Jackson Ramsay.
Mexico City picks JAMIE BENNELL
Holy hell, you're like a pick ninja Ossie.
I'm going to be away for 3 weeks starting 8am tomorrow...
(Going to QLD)
am I going to miss anything important? I'll try and get net access whilst away, but my laptop power adapter is flowered and arrrr.
The other drafts are likely to start pretty soon, got an assistant?
With our second last pick, Cairo will take:
Mark Hutchings
(http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/s600x600/224898_397603166988933_1309499913_n.jpg)

Looking forward to the rookie draft, I haven't had a pick since December 19! I'm having withdrawals!! :P
I want to be the only club with a bloke named Gideon on the list

Gideon Simon.
Joel wilkinson.
And Cairo's last pick will be:
Sam Siggins
(http://www.themercury.com.au/images/uploadedfiles/editorial/pictures/2012/11/24/sam1.jpg)
A Tassie boy who is a tall defender, might get a few games in for the Crows and might do alright for Cairo down the track too.
Adam Carter :)
And with the last pick we will.

Awesome! But really I expect like a 50-60 average in AFL this year.
Nice work FS!
Wood's score surprises and disappoints me, thought it would have been higher. Then again I was looking at his tac stats. Could you tell me what his average in that was? :)
103 in TAC
Ah that's more like it :) Thanks FS :)

would love to get any info on them as im still left in the dark on them. I know there Dt figures but im just punting they are better SC players than DT. If not going hogan over orouke was a mistake.
