With Ken upto his usual tricks in dropping Lycett left with these trades.
Out Lycett and Ainsworth
In Simpson and Dunkley or
Daniel and Whitfield

I'd go Daniel and Whitfield.

Have to trade Ryan to someone under 450K.

The two I have been considering are Simpson and Howe. Both proven premiums having a lean year, but with a good past couple of weeks.

Who would you bring in?

Zak Jones, Blakely or Weller options too if you're a gambling man.

I looked at them, but after someone with a proven track record of 90+

Fair enough, if Hutchings is named, then I'd say he could tag Simpson so I'd avoid as Simmo has said Yeo will run with Cripps.  Blakely is a massive wild card now with Ryan out, but yeah super risky.

Going to be close this week in my league game:

Me:

Williams
T. Kelly
Marshall
Hurn
Sheed
Zorko

vs

Opponent:

Worpel
Greene
Mundy
Houli
B Crouch
Smith

Might have to take a punt on VC/C if things get away from me.

3 trades left. have to trade Ryan. Im thinking Stewart or take a risk on Howe to get some cash.

Jezza Cameron is out now.. I can trade Corbett and swing hill fwd OR just trade Cameron to maybe Walters or Daniel if I brought in Howe. If I brought in Stewart I can't only afford a Lambert/worpel type.

Howe/Walters vs Stewart/Lambert

Tempted to go Birchall and keep the cash for my last trade.. Goes against my 'proven 90+' statement though!

Well Worpel 149 has pretty much screwed me already.

I’m gonna jump on your thread.

Playing for a week off so also want to win.

Have 4 trades and $222k.

Different players are as follows. My team is left.

Sicily v Tom stewart
Zerrett v Dusty
Sloane v B Crouch
Sheed v Taranto
Macrae v Bont
Dahl v Walters

It’s pretty close but Dahl needs to go. I’d love to bring in Marshall but would need 2 trades. Alternative is I grab any other forward (Daniel, Lycett, Walters?) and use only 1 trade.

Thoughts?
Yep Dahl vs. Walters looks a concern. 3 months ago you'd be crazy to think Dahl + $222K could not get you Marshall. Anyway, I reckon Worpel as the safest option. It could actually be a good week to run into Walters. Geelong been pretty miserly this season.

Sadly I didn’t take your advice on Worpel

B.
