Sunday teams are confirmed at 5pm AEST on Friday (Saturday for Monday games)
We will NOT be using a partial lockout, please read the rule below. You are encouraged to name your full team at the start of the round and edit accordingly as teams drop each day. you can name four (4) emergencies.- In the event a coach either submits an incomplete team or fails to submit a team at all without contacting the admin, they will receive a warning/strike and their submission from last week will be used.

Round 9 - Senators Starting to Score
Springfield (1772) defeat Hawaii (1568)
Springfield capitalise on the fixtures this week brushing off Hawaii who would've beaten a few teams themselves. This win takes them to 4-5 and right in the midtable battle for the top 6. 3 outs and no worries as midfield duo Laird (124) and Wines (128) turned up the heat. Rachele (37) found his way on the field again, and will quickly find his way off very quickly I'm sure. For Hawaii, it's 2-7 and not looking great. Treloar (134) and Zorko (112) shouldered the load but were let down across the board including Berry (44) and BJW (43).
Los Angeles (1669) defeat El Paso (1584)
LA have been down on their early form in recent weeks, but they're still good enough to keep up the wins and hang on to second spot on the ladder, but it could've easily gone the other way... Serong (126) lead the line with Docherty (115) cashing in and Warner (109) in a purple patch of form but they would've hoped for more than 46 from Whitfield. El Paso can count themselves unlucky here as Zach Merrett (51) was abysmal as captain. If he scored closer to 90 points it easily could've been El Paso's victory here. Acres (113) and Viney (118) were very good with Preuss (108), Dale (106) and Gresham (102) chipping in too. El Paso are still mired in last, and look to be fighting with Hawaii for the spoon this year...
Washington (1541) defeat Bermuda (1432)
...Because Washington are somehow in the fight for finals! Three wins in a row and results going their way means they are now just 1 win outside of finals, and Bermuda, who slip up again which is a shock to me. With lots of average scores, Liberatore (125) stood above the rest, and although they copped an OOP emergency it was still smooth sailing. For Bermuda it was an absolute shocker of a week. Close (23), Durham (38), Wright (39) were bad, but Draper (17) was horrendous and vice captain Boak (38) was on holiday or something because that score is foul. Neale (115) was valiant as captain, as was Smith (116) but it was too much to handle and Bermuda will be ruing a chance to get some breathing space.
Guadalajara (1555) defeated by Arizona (1665)
An expected result here, but it means Guadalajara are now stuck right in the middle of the finals scrap. Crouch (125) put on a clinic against the Cats, but it was soured with the news that Steele (77) will be out for a couple months with a shoulder injury. Gunston (26) was injured too but I hear he wasn't getting another game anyway. For Arizona, they get away with not naming Miller despite him being the captain for the week. Kelly (134) outdid Crouch and Kelly (95) was okay too I guess, with Dogs trio Macrae, Bontempelli and Dunkley combining for 355 points and counteracting M Rioli Jr's 18 point shocker.
Calgary (1667) defeated by Dallas (1782)
Was there any ever doubt? Dallas continue on their merry way to go 9-0 heading into the reverse fixtures with another round high score. Mills (156) and Petracca (139) went head to head with the top scores of the round but it was the Dallas man who got the chocolates. Witherden (112) helped out for Calgary but an injury affected 32 from Stanley didn't help the cause. Sinclair and Walsh (110) were the second fiddles in Dallas' total with Harmes (47) also injury affected. Calgary stay at 4-5 after this loss, with 4 teams now on the same total.
