Summary
Bob Murphy has been plagued with injuries for the past couple of years, managing to only play 13 games in 2009. But the year before, 2008, he played 21 games for an average of almost 90. His 2010 stats are not glowing, he had a very inconsistent year.

But recently he has changed his role, and does not spend as much time up forward as he used to. He has played the last few games playing across the HBF and has been picking up some decent stats there. He scored 103 in round 22 and also 103 in the loss to Collingwood in the 1st QF.

The Crystal Ball
$377,655
Perhaps FWD/BAC MPP or BAC

Decision
He has not convinced me to choose him in my starting side but he will be very cheap and perhaps could be MPP or be in defence and could just fill that 6th/7th spot in your forward line/defence and could complete your team.

So is anyone going to take the risk on Bob?

roo boys!

Ossie, how do you figure out the Standard Deviation?

Also, what is the Magic Number you have been using?

Fletch74

RB, standard deviation can be calculated in spreadsheet "STDEV". It works out to be 28.17

Murphy fluctuates a bit too much on that figure. Good work RB ;)

roo boys!

OK thanks for that Fletch, I will put it in there now :)

That's what I am thinking, he is a bit inconsistent.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Have been using 5311 as the magic number.

Will add you to the sticky :)

.... and Robert Murphy has constantly disappointed me in the past, think I've got a black-mark against him.

roo boys!

OK I will put the predicted price in too.

I will also add a poll.

I reckon if he keeps playing across half back and stays fit he will be a lock for me.

Played well on the weekend

roo boys!

Yeah he did play well on the weekend.

He has a lot of class and when he plays across half back he really shows it.
