I like the Zimbabweans 8). They may not be the top nation but it doesn't hurt to encourage other nations to take part in Cricket! Rather encourage them so they may become better in the future than disconnect them for their future generations to take no interest!

Yes they have some thrashings, but results like that do not equate to "don't deserve test status"

I bet you the Zimbabweans got themselves all psyched up for this test and playing their absolute hearts out, it's their first test back, got to prove they deserve to be playing cricket etc. Not surprising really...

All those matches they still lost... They have won what 3 tests?! 1 against Zimbabwe & the other 2 against the windies when half their players were on strike ::)

so what your saying is next test they wont be playing there hearts out?
shouldn't mater what country you play for or who you play against, when you represent your nation at any sport be it cricket, indoor cricket (like myself so yes i know what im talking about), or lawn bowls you play your heart out and give your all.

The fact of the mater is if sides like them don't get to play against the Austrailians, poms and other top nations more offten instead of being pushed aside because "they're not good enough" how are they ever going to improve?

oh cause i remember them saying that the poms were number 1, so they could still lose it

the way it works is: you get points for a test win and points for a series win so they update it after the end of each series.

And points on  how big the margin is, whether you won at home or away (better if away) and like Cyrus said, just for winning, losing, and drawing.
