Just gonna post this here...

Victoria has held on for a draw to deny Queensland a spot in the Sheffield Shield Final after Bobby Quiney posted 143* (383). >:D

In other news, one-day coach Simon Helmot has resigned with the Bushrangers to take up the coaching role with Trindad & Tobago in the Caribbean Premier League.  :(
Yes Nigey was watching that game yesterday for scores and the pitch was very docile and Qlds pace attack was somewhat blunted by it.  Credit though to Victoria because they still had to keep them out.
Speaking of Sheffield Shield... Tassie destroyed South Australia by an innings and 316 runs!! ;D :o
Gulbis breaking the record for highest score by a number 8 when he scored 229 (106 more than SA got in their second innings)!

Amazing that a double was scored by a number 8. I think it's only happened once or twice before in first class cricket.

4/7 in the second innings too for Gulbis, also Tassie's biggest winning margin ever pretty much the perfect game.
