Round 12 (17)
Vatican Valkyries (Ziplock) v Serbian Eagles (Holzman)
Swedish Metal (Nails) v Russian Roulettes (nostradamus)
Belgian Bashers (elephants) v Norwegian Trolls (Adamant)
Greek Titans (Spinking) v English Lions (JB Hawks)
Macedonian Wolves (Scrads) v Dutch Dinos (Hawka)
Scotland Savage Sons (Whatlez) v Spanish Stallions (Torpedo10)
Iceland Polar Bears (Hellopplz) v Belarus Bison (Lahug)
Vatican Valkyries (Ziplock) v Serbian Eagles (Holzman)
The eagles should dispose of the Valkyries in what is the 3rd clash between the two rival clubs. The score sits at 1-1 as the Eagles attempt to lock up the minor premiership. The valkyries sitting just outside the 8 really need the win but I doubt they will get it.
Swedish Metal (Nails) v Russian Roulettes (nostradamus)
Both sides have only lost one game and you would think that whoever wins this should get home ground advantage in a likely rematch in the qualifiying finals. It is a very big match to see who goes into the finals with an advantage. With a few injuires to the metal sqaud you would think the Ablett and Swan lead russian should take this one out. Both teams can go big so anything could happen.
Belgian Bashers (elephants) v Norwegian Trolls (picker_man)
The Trolls have come up against the bashers at a bad time, after struggling with injuries all year the bashers are starting to turn into the side we all thought they were capable of at the start of the season. I expect the Bashers to take this out as they move into the final 8. With their sqaud they coudl be very dangerous in the finals.
Greek Titans (Spinking) v English Lions (JB Hawks)
Titans are just holding on to the 8th spot but with the dangerous bashers on there tail this is a must win match in what you would think is a very winnable one against the 11th placed Lions. Titans have been up and down, if they are on they should take this out comfortably.
Macedonian Wolves (Scrads) v Dutch Dinos (Hawka)
The Dinos would be desperate to win this one sitting a game and % away from the 13th placed Trolls. The Wolves have been consitently pumping out solid scores and should do so again to rack up their 7th win as they fight for the final top 4 spot on offer. With the 4th and 6th playing off this presents a very good opprtunity for the wolves to qualify for the champions league. Wolves should take this easy doing what they always do and disposing of the teams they should
Scotland Savage Sons (Whatlez) v Spanish Stallions (Torpedo10)
A must win for the Sons with Vatican City and Belgium breathing down their necks for a spot in the final 8. A win should keep them safe and open up the chance to make it into the to 4. For the Stallions this is all about pride, a win here and they should be safe from the spoon. The Sons should be too strong here but the Stallions have a few guys that if they turn it on coudl cause an upset.
Iceland Polar Bears (Hellopplz) v Belarus Bison (Lahug)
A huge game here with both teams in the running for that 4th spot. The Bison are top 4 in points and have been very unlucky to sit where they are. The Bears are sitting in the coverted 4th spot and I win would put them strong favourties to make the top 4 and qualify for the champions league. Bison have been unlucky but im tipping there luck to turn and take this one out.

5 mids playing this week, 6 forwards and 3 rucks and thats it. Sandi is very slow at the moment need him to get going for finals in a few weeks.
He plays GWS, Dees, Port and Stkilda in the finals so if he gets going he could tear it up.

Surely not a serious offer :P
I did say I'm earmarking all 3 for huge seasons next year, and I'm feeling 100+ from each of them.
Pendles would give me +30 ppg on captaincy, but then I'd lose like 40-60 ppg having to field depth players.
We'll see what goes down in trade period :P

Why do we have to play the team with Swan and Ablett this week? ::)

Wasn't a fan of PB leaving Hayes out tbh. Oh well :( Would prefer Hayes to a few of 'em including McLean who has been useless lately.
Hopefully at least 1 if not 2 late withdrawals in the mids tomorrow. 124 from Cooney and 94 from Hayes would be nice.
Reasonably close once you factor in the HGA.
So you have Montagna, Nroo and NDS go huge, and still find ways to complain? :P ::)

Typical Roulettes, huge Q4 by their players.

Bartel, Enright, Thompson all useless in their game. Looks like Roulettes could be home.
Thompson sub just as he was lifting. Was on track for a ton WTF Adelaide. This will be the lose we lose to Roulettes ty to sub. Thanks McLean and Thompson ::)

We might lose based off team selection with Cooney and Hayes on the bench 90 points better than McLean and Thompson who were both subbed off.
Thompson and McLean both lucky to be named this week tbh. Should have been dropped. I think PB and I need to spend more time looking at midfielder form.

Sorry to hear that Spink. Sorry to be a rude prick. Hope all is as well as it can be.
No need to do the scores now I'm sure we can all wait.
Thanks mate, wasn't a big surprise - he'd been crook for a while.
No problems getting it done, bit of free time tonight!
Condolences on the sad passing of your Grandad Spink
Damn Spink, hope you and the family are alright. Guess it was his time, so condolenses to you guys.
Take time, if you need any help I can do a few of the scores :).

Phew. Got lucky!
Annoying considering if we had the right players on field we would have won...
it's like that for most teams most weeks :P
Most teams though it's gun vs. spud where the spud had a good week
Ours is gun vs. gun :(
Or has been gun vs. has been gun.
Wow myteam was shower house this week lol

"would" have won, that's a big call ???
.......do you think "if" l had Hurn, Waters, Burguoyne, O'Brien and Chappy in that l might have scored more too?

We had big outs too like Jobe Watson
Jobe > any of those.

3 starting backman out hurts alot though.
Boyd > Watson
he was just starting to warm up to be a top 3 DTer again 144 112 152 than injury.
watch out when boyd is back
Pendles Boyd Douglas Barlow Lids Simpson, unstopable.
Boyd out hurts me too... in Worlds :(
Chapman, Boyd, Stevie J, Kornes, Burgoyne. Cross, C. Cornes, Warnock (premo ruck in SC), Sam Gilbert (premo defender without his injury game) all missing from my worlds team last week.
Injuries flowering suck. The thing about the Metal is, even with that many injuries we'd still be gun.

Phew. Got lucky!
A weak performance from my Backs and Mids cost us :(. They are usually pretty consistent but they all faultered at the same time ::). Was a tight one!
Sorry to hear Spink, hope everything is all good :)
Side note: Bashers won 4 in a row, look out come finals!
sorry to hear it spink :(
Sorry about your Grandad Spink.
Condolences to you and your family.
