I know how you feel. Bruin is still with me for now, but after the Pav Cup I don't see him staying. I have a new young spinner coming up this season in Adrian Neville

fanTCfool

Guess who finished last season with a SOD of exactly #1024  8)

Mmmm it's really quite sad :(

For each season I've played the game I have recorded the 3,2,1 in each format for runs and wickets (So 3 votes for most runs/wickets, 2 votes for 2nd etc). Paul Aronstam totalled 48 votes, including 3 in T20 last season at 34yo!!

After that the leaderboard is: 43, 34, 29, 26, 25, 24, 23. He's completely destroyed everyone else! It was quite a career.

- 2 time second top club runs scorer in a season (S16, 18)
- S17 top run scorer in SL 4.2
- 3061 runs @ 68.02, most of all time. Second place (Who's nearing the end of his career at 32yo now too) 868 runs behind.
- Scores of 198, 191, 163. Ranked 1st, 3rd and 10th in club history.
- 10 tons, 11 fifties total.

T20 Achievements:
- 163 T20 matches (Most in club history)
- 5 time top club run scorer in a season (S25, 26, 29, 30, 33)
- 4 time second top club run scorer in a season (S23, 24, 27, 32)
- S26 top run scorer in SL 1.1
- S29 second top run scorer in SL 2.1
- 4385 runs @ 33.99, most in club history. 319 runs ahead of second place.

- 2 time third top club run scorer in a season (S22, 27)
- 6676 runs @ 32.73, second most in club history. 238 runs off first, but a whopping 1998 runs ahead of third (The same 32yo who'll close that gap a little more this season)
- Top score 235, 4th most in club history.
- 11 tons, 33 fifties.

Overall:
- 14122 runs @ 37.36
- 26 tons, 73 fifties (99 scores off 50+!)
- 8 time top club run scorer in a season
- 8 time second top club run scorer in a season
- First player to come from the PowerBugCC youth academy and be trained right through seniors.
- 2030 Days as a member of PowerBugCC (I don't have stats on other players but safe to say this is a record by a long way! I've only been playing the game for 2157 days!)

I have no other words to say about this man, who as weird as it may sound has been a part of my life for the last 6 years. No one will come close to the number of matches he has played for my club. No one will match the number of top club run scorer awards he has (Although without YOD Wardlaw who was bought at the start of S14 would beat him). It's just a monumental effort to play for 20 seasons. The main highlights have to be at the start, when I thought he was cursed as he got that 198 and 193 in such quick succession when I was pushing so hard for the YOD double ton. Then the other one has to be last seaosn when at 34yo he pulls out a 143* in his last T20 match, then in his second last SOD match (against opposition that heavily out-rated us!) he bats for 136 balls scoring 87 runs.

Have a good retirement fella, you've earned it :'( :'(

Should be viewable right now. Accom/reli with reas power and cap endo or something (I'm not logged in)

His peak was spec/excep, spec fielding and spec power I think. Nothing special, but had a great career! I was hoping that by now there'd have been a way to get former players still involved in the game somehow (in some kind of coaching or supporting capacity) but it hasn't eventuated :(

Not too bad for week one, I will struggle to get that exp up though. Always manage to pull guys with a huge tech gap like that  ::)

Would be the first time in a while ive won against CF.

Happy with the ratings for the first hit out of the season. Two other guys in the league sitting on 112k (5 nats) and 113k (0 Nats but lots of scots who havent been updated yet) ratings for the first game so if things go right on tour weeks or i can cause upsets I am in with a decent chance at getting my 5th YOD1.1 title

I can't even process how that just happened. Scroll to the end of the first innings, then to 20 overs into my chase. Then tell me I have even a 0.1% chance of winning the game.
