#17
San Francisco Grizzlies 18.9.117 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 16.11.107
(Real: 1752 vs 1609)

Closer than many would have expected, but in the end a comfortable victory for the flying Grizzlies, who gutted through 4 scores in the 50s (and two below it) to salvage a fine score and a win. Anaheim really need Reid and Duursma to develop ASAP to get in the hunt.

Best
San Francisco: Rowell, Martin, Green, Rayner, Coniglio
Anaheim: Merrett, Sheezel, Rioli, Witts, Noble, Boner

Miami Gators 16.11.107 defeated Colorado Avalanche 14.10.96
(Real: 1601 vs 1437)

The Gators are now officially winners, grinners, and off the bottom of the ladder with a reasonably comfortable victory - although they were made to sweat out Newcombe, Henry and Atkins while D'Ambrosio, Ward, Clark, Moore and MacDonald weren't exactly firing for them (almost like investing in bum Hawthorn players is fraught with danger).

Best
Miami: Clark, Rivers, Fiorini
Colorado: Cerra

Chicago Sharks 17.11.113 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 17.12.114
(Real: 1691 vs 1717)

Stig better buy a lotto ticket - beating the in-form Sharks without Dawson, Butters, Petracca, or Gulden tonning up? To be fair neither did Oliver, Libba, Brayshaw, or Sicily for Chicago, and they'll rue the injuries to Durham and Balta as real killers. Heeney surely a chance at C/CC next week?

Best
Chicago: Heeney, Hogan, Kelly, Briggs
Las Vegas: Ash, English, Powell

Boston Celtics 19.10.124 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 18.7.115
(Real: 1861 vs 1724)

This was more like the scores we were expecting from Boston when they drafted all those old barbies - but their season might hinge on the success of big H. NBH had plenty of decent scorers, but were left to rue a pair of 20s with a sub that's out for 2 months. Tsk tsk.

Best
Boston: McKay, Neale, laird, McGrath, Crouch, McInerney
Brooklyn: Steele, Anderson, Curnow, Bolton, Duggan, Cripps

Carolina Panthers 21.12.138 defeated Ottawa Otters 17.10.112
(Real: 2071 vs 1684)

Similarly, this is the kind of score we expected from Carolina when they drafted all those old barbies. Ottawa weren't bad, and their score would've looked much better if their C LDU did anything in the first half, and if VC Roma didn't have 40 clangers.

Best
Carolina: Gawn, Drew, Ryan, Zorko, Lloyd, Treloar, Grundy, Naughton, Bontempelli, Rozee
Ottawa: Vlastuin, Neal-Bullen, Young, Taranto, Miller

Memphis Dragons 17.14.116 defeated Quito Quetzals 18.8.116
(Real: 1739 vs 1738)

Score redaction.

Best
Memphis: Worpel, Lever
Quito: Serong, Hewett, McGovern, Whitfield, Houston, Himmelberg
