I beg to differ :)
So do I. IMO, Collingwood are peaking too early, well at least I'm hoping anyway!

May I ask how? They have a great mix of veterans, prime and young guns, similar to what Geelong had in '07.
It's very hard to win so many games in a row. Look at Hawthorn, they won 8 or so in a row, then now they've lost the last 2 and some are tipping they'll lose this weekend as well. I just think that a loss before the finals, or in the first week might end up making them lose some confidence, etc similar to Hawthorn.

Alex7089

Similar to Geelong in '08. The pressure to win does build up and become almost unbearable with the streak of wins.

That's it ;)

Alex7089

Haha, as I've said before I do catch on but it takes a while. ;)

We're talking about Geelong's history in 08' CFC ;)

bunyip

Or our future history :)

Alex7089

...;D
I will go start that thread!

SCADDICT

Should have just said for 2007-2010

DOMINATION

Alex7089

That probably would have sufficed. Althoguh early '07 they didn't 'dominate' per say, they were good they started 'dominating' round 9, they broke the WCE streak 8)

bunyip

Here's hoping the cats write another chapter this year :)

Alex7089

Well I used to love Geelong until I moved to Geelong. Now I'm not so sure. The whole world revolves around the Cats here  :-\
Still love the team ;D

bunyip

Goddamn it Alex. What do you expect. Geelong is basically a large provincial city with the ONLY AFL team outside a capital city. Would you like us to barrack for Collingwood?

Alex7089

Of course not that would be worse! Essendon 8)
I do have a very good mate who worships Geelong! Attends a training session most weeks. Loves it.
