I think Pendles is underpriced

I am considering going Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Beams from the get go

Others underpriced will be

Stevie J
Zorko
Gibbs
Leuenberger

Yeah, I'm also thinking Pendles could start pumping out bigger numbers next year, might have to lock him in eddie as well...

Zorko underpriced...?

If he is a forward i think he is capable of a 100 average easily

Had a sub affected 25 and a 60 when he got a high knock

yeah true but he averaged 94.7 this year so should be priced at around 490K...

Don't know if I'll take the risk on him at that price, if he retains fwd status and no other great options then maybe...

if ya take out those 2 scores he averaged 101

Your not gonna find too many forwards who average more!

And brisbane should get an ok draw they finished pretty low and are on the up

Rookies are looking good, not sure yet, but might go 3 super premo's + 3 rooks. Probably won't work out having 5 mid rookies though, your combo of four looks like a good start for a team!

Yeah, not to mention mid-pricers in Ball, Embley and to a lesser extent Moloney...
Lids, Jobe & Pendles may squeeze a spot later on.

Going to be pretty damn hard to fit in so many mids, especially with some guys likely to lose their DPP....
There's the locks(for most) in Swan/Ablett/Cotchin, the other premo's, the midpricers, the rookies, the list goes on.

what this tells me is you need pendles and murphy.

I will be looking at Murphy too, however his inability to break some tags this season is a concern

there is no way in hell you will be able to afford that. you have to remember with no expansion team, we wont have anywhere near as many rookies starting the season, meaning you cant plump on them as much. mid-price mayhem will be in in 2013

depends. I will be happy to cut a premium back to get points in the mids at the start

GAJ, Swan, Cotchin, O'meara, Whitfield, Crouch will be my starters :)

Gibbs and Rocky will be way underpriced and DPP will be handy. Hopefully Malthouse won't flower around with Gibbs like Ratten did. And surely Voss now knows Rocky isn't a forwards asshole. If Tippett goes to Brissy hopefully will shuffle Rocky back into the mids. But I reckon Pendles is the biggest lock as his price.

I'm sure it will be possible to squeeze in four of the top premium mids next year without making the rest of your team very weak, I saw plenty of strong teams this year starting with five premium mids. The lack of expansion teams will make a big difference but it won't make starting with four premium mids unaffordable by any means. Though as KoopKicka pointed out Whitfield, O'Meara and Crouch are all likely to be startable mid rookies so a three rookie midfield would be a good option.

Midpricers will be more attractive next season, but I can't see any particularly good ones in the backline (Bock is probably the best, but that is only if he gets a discount and has a good preseason), so that limits the number of midpricers we can realistically squeeze into one team. Plenty of good ones in the forwards though, I'm considering going really cheap in my forwards and starting only players who averaged less than 90 this season, which I did to some extent in this year's DT and it worked fairly well.

I have Pendles/Cotchin/Murphy pretty much locked in. Considering starting Joel Selwood as a fourth premium mid.

DT - Swan, Ablett, Boyd like this year then cotch, beams, pendles or murph depending on $$

SC - Ablett, Pendles, Cotchin, Watson (Essendon will improve)

his only substantial issue is st kilda. Even then I think the first 60 odd was a tweak, and the 27 was injury. Take those out and he averaged 110.
