As a few of you probably know, I have been sitting in second for weeks now and I just haven't had any luck with injuries of late. I am just looking for some ideas for the week. Going to have to take some risks. 86 points is a fair bit to catch up. I will give people a cheer for any input but probably won't directly respond as I don't want the guy winning to know my trades for the week.
Any ideas as strange as they might be I'll be considering. Here's my team

At the moment the players that I have different to number 1 are:
Hanley, Duffield
Cotchin, Montagna
Minson
Nroo, Mayne
to his
Hibberd, Ellis
Jack, Scooter
Luey
Lewis, Hansen
This is a massive risk and I'm seriously considering it... Stanton to Libba
Libba went 144 against Melbourne earlier in the year and is in some pretty decent form
Scotland is possibly out so look at trading him O'Brien,Butler,Adcock and maybe Murphy all possible good pod picks.
I'd definitely trade Stanton out maybe try to get in a decent pod that the top team doesn't have that you think will score well this week to try to help peg back that 86 points.Then if Beams plays bench Cotchin.
Yeah, reckon you'll have to go with one of Griffin, Boyd and Libba (or maybe Cooney? :o )Just make a call on who you think McKensie will tag.
GWS play GCS, so maybe Prestia? You'd think Whiley would go straight to Ablett.
If you have real cajones, then maybe consider trading out Ablett? Hasn't exactly coped with a tag recently, and Whiley is goooooooood...

1. play Terlich on ground, he should score really welll against Melbourne this week, it's just a matter of deciding who to bench
2. trade either Stanton or Cotchin, hope Beams plays and bench the one you dont trade out
3. trade out mayne
but before making any suggestions could you post your opponents team so we can see your POD's to best work out which players might benefit you the most

Yeah, don't worry how stupid it may sound, just do whatever will get you the most points.
dont be surprised if he tries to match your best POD's either, if l were him l'd be getting in NRoo to negate your advantage there
.......it could very well come down to a match between 4 or 5 players
.......and can you post the players he has that are different to you too
Obviously you need to throw caution to the wind. I like the idea of Libba but here are a few more to chew on.
Mitch Duncan - Take out his injury affected game and he's 109.7 from his last 4.
Same deal with Masten, remove the injury score and you've got a three game average of 120.3. Last score against Adelaide - 111.
Possibly Stokes or Christensen if you don't want to stick with Mayne. Harry O, Stanley, Mackie and Houli would be my suggestions for any backline trade.
I'd trade on of stants or cotchin to griffen he has the dees who he scored well on last time. That's the only weak spot I can find mate. All the best, hope you get up!

Stanton for a top mid. Liber ??
He has Stanton, so trading him out if you another point of difference.
This help differentiate your team, keeping scotland is a risk but I think he will trade him out.

Backs: stanley(plays gws and good scores of late), harry taylor(loves the cattery and could push forward) , mackie(great ave at simmons stadium)
mids prestia( plays gws and shouldnt get a tag, JOM as well he had 115 last time against gws) libba (playing dees had big score last time), james kelly (in good form and loves simons stadium) callan ward(had 112 last time against goldcoast)
just a few different ones, another big punt is chappy, he could have a big one had 2 very good games inthe vfl and ud reckon he would play forward so thers a chance of him snagging a few goals as well.

Easy :) trade out Nroo as he has the Dockers and bring in Chappy
Then trade out JJK, move Cox to the Fwds and get Kreuzer in the ruck, bench Mayne.
Play Beams if named probably over Cotchin but possibly over Joey who will probably get Crowley.

Anyways, I would trade Stanton-->Watson and Mayne-->Bartel.
Both Watson and Bartel have 120+ in 2 of their past 3 against their opponents.

I have Hanley and Cotchin too. Hanley - sore hip and may find hard to get the plus 6s on narrower Geelong ground?
Backline smokeys - Gold Coast Danny Stanley - in the play a lot last week, the younger mids may be tiring so Stanley getting more mid-time plus they're playing GWS. Charlie Dixon - may ruck and rest fwd with Gorringe probably out could score big, but has had few injuries - risk-reward selection.
Cotchin - a bit sore still, hasn't scored high for few weeks?
Mayne - no Walters may help, but Pav is going well since back.

Get in either Watson or Griffen for Stanton, if Beams is named then bench Cotchin

Last time Montagna scored 78 in the first half (without Crowley) and then 39 in the second (with Crowley)
If you want a defender consider Houli. Has the bombers this week.
After his slow start to the season, since rd 3 has been consistent with only 2 scores in the 60s and tonned up in 2 of past 3 games. scored 92 in his last game against the bombers

Crowley said it in the post match interview on the ground after the Port game. I can't remember the exact question Leigh Colbert asked him and Crowley said something like he
may go to Jack Steven.
So not sure if he was fully expecting to go to Steven or whether he just picked one of the Saints midfielders off the top of his head ;)
Sam Butler has been scoring really well since Hurn and Waters have both been out.
Masten and Libba for Stanton. Or you could trade Ablett since he has been in such shower form and rumored to be injured...
Trade out Ablett for Liba...he wont have the balls to trade Ablett
No prizes for 2nd place, so go crazy. If i was you and you had no player outs this week, i would bring in Libba and Griffen. Cotchin was very poor last week, and Stanton can go big, but i would back in at least 1 of Libba and Griffin to go 140+ this week.
...And i reckon Hook will be thinking the same haha!

I would say he will trade to 2 of your uniques you are the least likely to trade out tbh, the optimum situation for him is having less unique players with you. I suggest trying to negate that by trading out players you have common to him (hopefully upgrading haha).

1) Play Terlich over Gibbs. Benching Gibbs this week is a good move for anyone with an equal/better replacement on the bench.
2) Stanton -> Masten, bench either Cotchin or Barlow (all the Freo outs can't help him but Cotchin getting the Hocking tag after being subbed out last week ain't great either...)
3) Kennedy -> Stokes, bench Mayne
4) Nick Riewoldt as captain with McPharlin/Johnson/Dawson all missing for Freo... surely everyone is going him captain though?!
Hope you've got enough cash for those trades, maybe sell Mayne instead of Kennedy if cash is an issue. Solid bench cover might end up winning you the $50k, who knows...

I made the montagna trade because Crowley went to him second half last time they played and montagna doesn't score with a tag. Obviously a massive mistake. In the end I don't think I would've caught him anyway cause his players all have done well.
