Another season has past with the Miami Heat once again being crowned NBA Champions

(lolManu flopping with nobody around him)

Huge props to the old man Spurs for an insane run.

NBA Draft is next Friday (our time).

Cleveland have the #1 pick for the third time in 10 years and will probably take this guy

As long as the Wiz don't take a complete spastic with their pick then they will return to the playoffs next season barring injury.

Notable Free Agents:

PG:
Jeff Teague (Restricted)
Jarrett Jack
CP3
Jennings (R)
Calderon

SG:
OJ Mayo
Tony Allen
Monta
Kevin Martin
JR Smith
Redick
Tyreke (R)

SF:
Iggy

PF:
J Smoove
Brand
David West
Blair
Millsap

C:
Dwight
Bynum
Kaman
Dalembert
Pekovic
Splitter (R)
Al Jefferson

3 probable max deals with Dwight, CP3 and J Smoove (lol)

The Miami Heat as it stand are favourites to go for the 3peat. The East will most likely be lol again with the Pacers and the Bulls (If D-Rose ever returns) the only threats to the Heat.

The West, on the other hand will be awesome.  The Spurs will have another 50-win season just because that's what they do, OKC will regain Westbrook but will not win a championship with the lolBrooks, Durant, Westbrook combination.  Depending on who's coaching them the Grizzlies and Clippers will most likely be top 5 seeds as will Golden State with another season of Steph Curry shooting 90% from 3.

If the Rockets or Mavericks can get Dwight as a Free Agent then they go straight into championship contention. Also gonna be fun watching the Lakers crumble.

Let us off-season.

Also, I intend to use this http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,81028.0.html for regular season but this is the off-season and this OP is GOAT.

Looking more and more likely that the Mavericks are gonna trade pick 13 + Shawn Marion to the Cavs for pick 31. Win-win; the Mavs clear like $9M of cap space and the Cavs get another early pick as well as Marion for a year in their quest for 8th in the East.

Jay

Nice OP. Ill keep you up to date with all things Boston.

After Clippers talks seem done... Hearimg rumours about trading PP for 2 of Cavs 2nd round picks. Frees up cap space and gets us something for Pierce instead of nothing.

tbagrocks

Righto! It's Magic time! Time for the rebuild to complete ;D

Jay

Goss hearing that Alex Len will be no.1 pick. Not Noel? :o

I haven't really paid too much attention to draft news, Len going #1 would be a surprise. Suppose Noel's ACL is a risk Cleveland mightn't be willing to take. Noel's ceiling much higher but Len has more size and very little risk in taking him; at the very worst he'l be a solid to good NBA Centre.

Holz

I still say Mclemore should go 1.

Mclemore/Waiters will be a great SG 6th man combo.

yeah CP3 Howard is huge.

next year do we have Bosh and James coming up?

and of course Wiggins and the other guy.

Jay

Andrew Wiggins is the best HS player since Lebron.

Windigo

Heard that the big 3 could be broken up due to the luxury tax coming in?
