Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.9.111 defeated Colorado Avalanche 15.7.97
(Real: 1661 vs 1456)

Pretty much the expected winner and scoreboard, as Anaheim take the four points at home - with home ground advantage Paddy Dangerfield (don't see that often!) securing the win - luckily he wasn't captain or else it would've been a bit closer, as Colorado did not have the same luck - Ebert's 37 coming as CC.

Best
Anaheim: Mundy, Kennedy, Hardwick, Hawkins, Boak
Colorado: Harbrow, Maynard, Witts

New Brooklyn Hawks 19.7.121 defeated Ottawa Otters 17.8.110
(Real: 1809 vs 1656)

Again, like with the previous game, a pretty expected result and scoreline. NBH continue their good season with a solid win, lead as usual by Cripps but with Dumont their standout scorer. Hogan was a big letdown for Ottawa, but nonetheless they scored alright and can take some confidence into next week.

Best
Brooklyn: Dumont, Cripps, Johannisen, Gunston
Ottawa: Cunnington, Marshall, Treloar, McGovern

Chicago Sharks 19.8.122 defeated Houston Bombers 15.9.99
(Real: 1832 vs 1489)

Big percentage booster for Chicago as they look to make a run at the top six, while Houston have fallen massively since their grand final run last season and sit barely ahead in spoon contention.

Best
Chicago: Gaff, Yeo, Hurn
Houston: Ziebell, Sloane, Robinson

Boston Terriers 20.7.127 defeated Quito Quetzals 19.9.123
(Real: 1901 vs 1851)

This match certainly lived up to it's top-billing! Boston getting over the line thanks to a big sub performance bumping their score up by nearly a ton. It was a tale of the two ways to score big - Boston had a lot of good scorers, as seen below, with 9 centurions and a further 5 scores in the 90s, while Quito only had the five tons - all of which being 120+ with three of them 130+ - but their midfield certainly let them down with no tons. Most likely an unofficial record set for sub scoring as well - 132 and 126!

Best
Boston: Darling, Pendlebury, Goldstein, Neale, Dahlhaus, Guthrie, Martin, Sidebottom, Redden
Quito: Cameron, Dunkley, Haynes, McCluggage, O'Brien

San Francisco Grizzlies 15.16.106 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 15.19.109
(Real: 1589 vs 1639)

George Hewett's huge 154 the difference here, as Las Vegas scrape an away win that will be crucial in their fight for finals. To be honest, Vegas should've won by more as the San Francisco midfield couldn't even have a single 90+ score while the forwards and utilities couldn't break a 75+ score - the backline and ruckman and sub did all the work! Give back Steven and Viney and Deledio (and Rankine and Watts I guess) pls.

Best
San Francisco: Wiliams, Martin, Pittard, Stewart
Las Vegas: Hewett, Fyfe, Harmes, Sheppard, Westhoff, Lloyd

Carolina Panthers 19.6.120 defeated Wisconsin Cockerels 18.10.118
(Real: 1800 vs 1772)

Like with Boston-Quito before it, this match certainly lived up to it's top-billing! I thought Wisconsin had it when Harry McKay could only put up a half-dozen for Carolina, but they held steady to get up narrowly. Bontempelli and Gawn starred as captains, while Luke Ryan also scored big. Wisconsin's midfield were fantastic, with five tons and three 125+ scores, but their backs, forwards, utilities and subs could not hold up to that standard while Carolina were slightly more consistent than usual, aside from McKay.

Best
Carolina: Bontempelli, Ryan, Kelly, Ellis-Yolman, Menegola
Wisconsin: Shuey, Zorko, Gawn, Duncan, Daniel, Ablett, Macrae, Cameron
