Full game today and produced a solid 80 in difficult conditions
Will he see more of the green vest or is he a viable option?
Round 13 bye rookie. Lock.
10 tackles will at least give him a few weeks shelf life.
gun in waiting 8)
Was always confident of Dumont doing well if he could get a full game on the ground. Almost brought him in this week, but went Amon with the view to trade Dumont this week if he did well.
Dumont in this week. Will trade Oxley out and bank the cash or upgrade elsewhere.
might consider this guy for Krak.. Krak's due to go back on the rookie list isn't he?

Could they re-upgrade him for Cornes?
his bye is mega juicy, but not really worth it unless he isn't sub rnd 12. anyone got a crystal ball?

Sam Gray was also promoted recently. Would've thought Gray will drop back to the rookie list before Krak.
on my radar now especially after the 84 on the weekend
always liked him and i think he would have got an earlier go if not for our strong team and his off field issues. With the loss on the weekend im sure Scott will be mad and Dummont seemed to play quite well so im hoping he stays.

Totally agree, Holz. I reckon Dumont is safe as houses and our best bet for a downgrade target in the mids this week.
Just reading the details of his taxi driver robbery, and I'm not sure I can pick this thug on principle.

Yeah if I had any sort of choice I'd be avoiding him. But with absolutely zero R13 options there's nothing I can do.

OK, I guess I can consider him as long as from now on we refer to him as 'cabbie basher' (as you mentioned in another thread) ;)
Cabbie basher is coming into my side this week!

Rocky's ribs mean i'll probably have to bring him in for Heeney now :( that round 13 bye as others have said is just so darn tasty.

Not really man. Still got Fyfe, Pendles, JPK, Goddard and Swan as rd12 prem's, but rd13 is Goldy, NicNat, Gray, Shiel, Jelwood, Shaw, TMac, Lumumba plus rookies too :-[

You trade your rookies though to even other rookies or premiums during the byes. Round 13 should be the easiest round by far.
If Swallow comes back in does this affect Dumont? anyone heard/read anything indicating him getting more runs without the sub vest? Coach comments, radio comments from teammates...anything, at 153k he would want to be a bloody good chance to play in the next 3 games minimum for bye cover.
I reckon that they have heaps of players they'd drop before Dumont afer the performance they put up, especially considering Brad Scott's comments after the game
Gibson, Bastinac and Atley should all get dropped before Dumont
Cheers fellas, helps put my mind at ease.

Will the new coach??

Yep Gibson has been turning the ball over for too long. After a disgusting 3rd quarter effort, we finally got back in front with 4 goals, only for Gibson to kick the ball blindly out on the full. With Gibson getting the ball it was only a matter of time before we gave it back to the opposition and lost the game.
Dumont was one of the very few positives for North on Sunday.
can see him being sub this week. not good.

I didn't see much of last week's game but listening on the radio they were saying he was tagging Pendles which if that was the case he did an excellent job.
Think he would get that role again after doing such a good job meaning unlikely to start sub.
Could tag priddis maybe?

Dumont to provide mid coverage this week and cover rds 11 & 12... Means I have a potential donut in the fwd line this week or sub affected score from Hugh... Or would it be crazy to pick Steele over Dumont? crazy, crazy?

im still getting him though
Can you see him staying in the team or he is waiting for someone to come back into the team?Looking at downgrading and bringing him in but dont want to play 2 games and then just sit on my bench as a donut
I think he is one of those players that if he performs he plays. Don't think there are any injuries in his position but players like Dal San To and Wells are a couple of weeks away so really I think he is safe until the bye at least if he performs!
Should get a full game today after his performance last week
It's really up to him now
Perform, or get out
Get him in.
he was called the replacement of Greenwood before he had that onfield issue. I reckon without that he would have played round 1. I have big wraps on him and currently have him on field.

Big wraps indeed. Played well under pressure today. Looked the goods. Happy I traded him in.
15 contested possessions and 10 tackles last week followed by 8 contested and 7 tackles today, while copping a few bad hits. True inside, physical mid and good to see they are playing him in that role consistently. Looks a good pick!

I gather you mean off field issue. I traded him in this week for Rocky and he looks like a good downgrade with good js
I missed the boat. Was concerned with his JS so I let him go. Slightly regretting to be honest - will need to look at Boston and/or Hamling next week
I might still bring him in, depending on how much his price goes up. I am thinking of trading him in for Heeney. (I just want some decent bench cover from now on)
:)
Brought him in last week, was going to start with him originally. Now I just need downgrades for Tarrant, Griffin, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc and effing etc. And then it's time to work on defence. :-[

I really wouldn't b getting rid of dumont unless u have to boys.
He has been phenomenal when he has come back on last two games.
Goldy and dumont turned the tide when gws starting closing the lead.
Think he will get a full game again round 14 and b really solid cover.

He was awesome when he came on, and you're right, he and Goldy settled the ship basically by themselves.
My concern is now though, that he has played so well when coming of the Vest that they may think they have a great set-up with him wearing the Green.
FWIW, I'm keeping him.
I'm keeping him this week but will look to trade him next week if he doesn't get in the starting team next week. Bit of an awkward game time though as I think my preferred upgrade targets will all play before North...
Boston best option, if you don't have him?
North subbing him every week has cost me the trades I wanted to make. Scott can go and get f@&ked! Plenty of Roos supporters would agree I reckon!

Yep
Hoped he would hit about 300k which would enable me to make luxury/injury trades later on
Won't happen now
He'd be putting up good scores if he wasn't sub. I've got a feeling he'll shake the vest soon and start making alot of cash.
